Bravo to you traveling solo in the prime years of your life. Although I did some traveling I wish I had travelled more in my youth. I loved traveling, but my husband doesn’t and to find a travel companion could be a challenge. So instead I let the time go by and trust me it goes very fast. Now I don’t have the stamina to do all the walking that is needed. Now I live vicariously through you and see and enjoy your travel adventures. A wise man once said “you might not always get what you want, but you might get what you need”. Enjoy every golden nugget of your experiences and adventures because one day you will cash them in as precious moments in your mind and soul as a soothing balm. Be safe my dear looking forward to your next video.
Thank you Dori! Your words are sincerely an encouragement to me 💛 I agree with you, and I agree with the wise man! It’s such an interesting time are living in too… so I am ever trying to be open to what the Lord wants for me and align my desires with that 🥹 I hope you are well and will see you again soon :) Thankfully, the US is so large we are able to do quite a bit of traveling here, It’s just amazing how different cultures can be in just a few hours distance!
Love this Rachelle! I had the same kind of moment when I visited Ecuador awhile ago. I kept thinking how much my loved ones would have enjoyed seeing all the cool sights I was experiencing solo, and it made me miss them terribly. But, I did have such a fun trip and tried to experience as much as I could on my own. I really enjoy all your vlogs, and these travel ones are very special! I hope you get to visit Poland again soon!
Yes, it’s such an interesting wave of emotions… in the inevitable ups and downs of solo travel… but ultimately a tremendous joy and blessing to experience these beautiful places the earth has 😄 I would love to visit Ecuador one day too! And yes, definitely hoping to visit Poland again God willing!!! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos! Thank you so much for watching and commenting… it means a lot 💛
Rachelle, I almost teared up when you talked about how you teared up because you didn't have anyone special with you to experience what you did, knowing very well that they would have enjoyed it just as much. I had that exact same experience in Paris. I would not trade taking that trip by myself except to have someone else with me to share it. As it is, I don't have anyone with whom to reminisce, but I know exactly how you feel. Still, as I said, I wouldn't trade it and I'm sure you wouldn't either!
Ahhh… Yes its an interesting feeling to say the least. However, I’m also grateful to have this platform which encourages me to make videos that savor the memories, and of course to be able to share even a small amount of them! Definitely wouldn’t trade it ;)
Hi Freddie… Welcome! I appreciate your lovely comments ☺️ I hope to return as well. It was not only my first journey to London, but my first taste of the UK, which was long overdue. Such a lovely place!
I think Regents Park is prettier than Hyde Park and then Hampstead Heath i!s in the hills, so you get a sweeping view of the London Skyline. But Richmond Park is my favourite and it's 2.5 times larger than Central Park, so you always discover something new when you visit🥰 Yet with the 3,00 parks in London - Hyde Park gets the attention.. such a shame.
😄 My hotel was located right on Hyde Park which made it the given option to stroll through this time round :) But I will add Regents & Richmond Parks to my ‘must do’ list for next time… they sound lovely!!
Relaxing London vlog ever. Thank you Rachelle it was just what I needed.
this comment made my night :) i’m so glad it touched you 🤍
