I enjoyed the discussion. As a person who has built computers for several years, I have never attemptted gaming and currently I find some of the content misleading as you mentioned. Currently I have a 12600k, 32 GB of DDR4 ram and a 4070 ti Super, not sure if there is a bottleneck. I find it challenging to configure games to fully optimize the GPU, nor am I sure if the GPU should run at 99% constantly. The joy of gaming has been lost to me for many years and I do not want to be discouraged by my lack of knowledge in the software and or hardware space as it evolves so quickly. I am current outputting to a 4K Samsung Oled TV - 60 Htz. Gaming concepts, stores, launchers etc are new to me and I believe content that is relatable to the average non high end consumer is what I have a hard time locating. I believe that you and frogboyx1Gaming are on the right track and have the potential to provide some clear and concise content. I look forward to starting my PC gaming journey with the you both, two perspectives are always welcome.
@KennySmith-w4c appreciate the kind words. I'm happy to try and help where I can. GPU utilastion at 100% or as close as is ideal. That means your GPU is running at its full potential and not waiting on the cpu to supply it. The only awkward thing Is modern games appear to be very cpu bound meaning even the best cpu available will still be a bottleneck. 60hz tv also means if you enable vsync you'll be limiting yourself to 60fps which would also drop your gpu utilisation and appear as a bottleneck. As far as game launchers Steam is probably the no1 launcher and also happens to have a big sale on right now if your not already aware..
Frog I would love to see you interview Alex Bittalia 😂. I bet if you talk to him you'd somehow get along with him. But my dream interview would be with Packers 😂😂 ,
You can tell Frog is a good dude. His just forced to operate to grow his channel. I kind of knew it but wasnt sure until he came out with it. Iv actually deleted alot of comments iv posted then thoight about it because i know this stuff takes its toll. Even if i feel im right sometimes this shit is not worth it. I think the backlash content creators get on their takes on xbox, ps, nvidia, amd is largely to do with people really passionate about their product..but also with pc its expensive. The 3080 bashing was tough becuase my pc was going well and i was in denial that the 10g will be enough so i took alot more personal than i should have. Then the 4080 hate with out having the card was annoying. You just realize when your happy with a product other products sometimes just dont make as much sense esp.at nvidia price points. I feel this way about the 4090 its almost double the price for 50 percent more performance. Im a pretty understanding level headed person but im surprised how much iv sunk into xbox and ps console war and nvidia and amd grappling matches..its quite shocking😂.
@c523jw7 Dude we all do it and we will continue to do it. It's just a lot easier to take when you understand your arguments aren't just pure hate comments right? Sometimes the negative comments are justified as some of the longest chat threads I've seen start from a negative comment, and sometimes those chat threads provide a lot of information. The 3080 is an argument I understand but I've since seen some contradiction, not from frog but certainly an AMD fan that I will possibly deep dive a little into at some point 😅 On a side note, you not watch my AW2 video? I have to ideias of debate: 1) talk about the differences in a 1440p display between DSR/VSR to 4k and using upscale in quality vs 1440p native, both image and peformance wise. 2) Forget a little about AMD and NVIDIA and discussion about experience with the latest AAA titles that u guys played.
Frogs very passionate about how he feels. He takes things on a realistic level. The problem with AMD is when you’re not showing the Best stats and you don’t necessarily have the best feature set, it’s an uphill battle convincing people that it is still a good product. It’s in our nature to compare and want to feel like we have the best of what you can get, AMD lags behind in some areas. doesn’t mean they’re not still worthwhile and just like you stated in a previous video, even though the XTX ray tracing isn’t as good as the 4080s super, it can still do it and it’s usable. It’s funny because AMD RT improved generation to generation more than Nvidia did, but because they didn’t catch up they get hell for it.
@mmremugamesmm there's so many levels to this conversation it could very well go into one of our next debates! From where I look at it and I could be completely wrong as I don't have the full technical knowledge. AMD have made the decision to use their whole die on performance cores putting rasterisation as priority. Nvidia and also now Intel are dividing the die into performance cores, ai cores and RT cores. This allows AMD an advantage at rasterization however they fall short in ai upscale and RT performance over Nvidia and Intel. Do AMD have to change this going forward? And if so, have they held themselves back by not doing so already? If Intel are now on second generation Ai and RT cores and AMD start from scratch does that put AMD in danger of Intel?, if AMD are beginning from scratch. Or maybe AMD are doing a lot of back stage development and smash it when they make the move. I think AMD will have no choice but to adopt the same route as Nvidia and Intel but at the same time they could pull a whole new technology out of the bag. I could also be completely wrong in my understanding 🤣
@@Spratty-wb3is the rumor is the 9000 series will have technical differences, so that leaves me to believe that’s what could be happening. A total technical change. 8000 series is supposedly to by the more development time. That’s why there are not competing in the higher end. We’ll see
