Timing Ovulation and Insemination with Letrozole

- This cycle I started the Letrozole 10 mg on cycle day 5 to 10 for a total of 6 days. Taking the last dose on cycle day 10 was in the hopes that it would have me ovulate on cd 13 which is my natural ovulation day.

I pray this cycle is successful for u! We had our son 5/14, he was a bit premature(35weeks) and spent 1 week in the NICU, but he home now, gaining weight and doing great!

I just bumped into this video and it encourages me a lot to never give up.
Letrozole works well for me but I'm always loosing the babies, something that I don't understand.1st were twins lost at 7 months-conceived naturally, second ectopic after using clomid and third one just happened this mother's day where I lost her at 16 weeks.
I never even don't know when I'm ovulating and learning I can track my ovulation. Wishing you baby dust as I pray for my healing. May God remember us.
I’m so sorry for all of your losses. It is so devastating. Yes God remembers us. He loves us. Have you been tested for these recurrent miscarriages? It could be something that could be fixed. I’m so glad my video is encouraging. 🙏♥️

The first loss was a stillbirth due to doctor's negligence after a prolonged labour. Second was an ectopic. For the recent one, I'm yet to get the results from the hospital of what could have been the cause.

I am wishing you all the best and I pray this is your cycle 🙏 I was having issues with Letrozole. I had to stop taking it because my estrogen was too low even with supplementation. The cycle I stopped Letrozole, I got pregnant 🎉 I am still cautiously optimistic because my first beta was 11 on 12 DPO and today it was 22 at 14 DPO 😬

I got my bfp on may 6th! I don’t ovulate till 3 days after my positive opk either! Had ovulation spotting or so i thought 3 days after i ovulated! It was a weird cycle and i didn’t think i would’ve became pregnant at all! 🎉good luck!

Forgive me, but i’ve never used these test strips. How did you get 1.32? And what does it mean.. I normally test with the clear blue smiley. wishing you the best this month. i’ll keep you in my prayers.💕
Interesting that cramping corresponded with the time you took Letro! I wonder if that’s a thing. I never manage to take it at the perfect time everyday. I sort of fluctuate within 30 mins to an hour lol!
Hopefully they extended your RX so you can keep going - Prayers you won’t need to fill it though!
My LH has normalized after starting Estrogen last cycle. It was constantly high every test prior to Estrogen, and now it’s actually back down to 0.25 ish as a baseline which I haven’t seen it drop that low in a long time. My FSH is back within normal range too so that’s a win!!! I can start back on Letro after this month since everything is a go. This month is all natural until after ovulation. Then it’s Estro/Progesterone once I ovulate… I won’t know what to do if I ever manage to conceive and not have to test like a maniac anymore LOL!!!

Yeah I have noticed that my ovulation has been right around the same time as when I was taking the pills. I wonder if it is a thing! Have you thought about seeing if a fertility doctor could give you the HCG shot? It would guarantee and time your ovulation accordingly. I know you are able to have success timing it with the letrazol. I am just saying it might give you some reassurance even more with the HCG, which would be even more accurate. Have you ever tried the HCG shot?
Yes I have already done all of that. I did a few hcg triggers last fall but they were unnecessary and very costly. Also I felt like I was getting pregnant but couldn’t prove it because of the hcg trigger and not knowing if it was the shot or pregnancy. Plus it didn’t make me ovulate for over 50 hours. So I don’t want it. Thank you! ♥️♥️

I wondered why you are not using the Mira?
Because it won’t help with predicting ovulation. I am not having normal hormone levels like a younger woman will have where the Mira will be accurate for them. What I wanted for was to see natural progesterone after ovulation, but couldn’t afford the wands this time.😊

Has your body ever not responded to letrozole some cycles? I took letrozole so much that it doesnt even make me ovulate anymore

I hope this is ok to ask. I know women can get pregnant even days after ovulation. So if you ovulate on Wednesday and inseminate Thursday, can you still get pregnant? I’m talking specifically about in the situation where you are Peri menopausal? I thought conceptions could happen between ovulation and a period? Embarrassed that I’m asking since I am now well past menopause
After ovulation the egg lives for 12 to 24 hours and must be fertilised in that time if a woman is to become pregnant.
Yes if you are getting the sperm to the egg before it starts to die then yes you could ovulate on Wednesday and get pregnant Thursday. I have gotten pregnant before inseminating 17 hours after ovulation. But always try to get them in before ovulation day or the day of is safer! ♥️♥️
