Hi Maddie! There are SOOOO many things that I loved about this video. From the drone footage at the beginning, to your confidence and self-reliance, to the trips to Home Depot, to your fearlessness in tackling this huge project. You are an amazing young woman. Please always “wax poetic”, give us audio of the frogs, and a bee working on a flower. These (and your beautiful artwork) are what make you and your channel so special.

The bluetti would be an absolute game changer for my service dog and I. From being able to run an electric blanket for both of us during the winter or cold nights and easily heating up her meals without having to go to my trunk and busting out my camping stove (we're in a sedan, hoping to get a bigger vehicle once i have the $$) and freezing my tail off while waiting for it to heat up. Lights at night, so we can actually see something instead of the little interior car lights, lol. Of course, charging my phone and small electronics. There are so many uses that would improve our setup overall.

    • @htoddgriffin4787
      @htoddgriffin4787 8 місяців тому +1

An electric blanket would pretty much drain the power station overnight, so unless you had considerable solar charge capacity or access to an electric outlet for 5-8hrs a day, you wouldn't be much closer to solving your power situation. As for lights though, anything from a small power bank(20000mah) up to a slightly larger but still small power station(80000mah) will power plenty of LED lights for days. No reason to sit in the dark when you can have light for about $20.

The Bluetti would allow my furbaby and I to car camp and tent camp for a few days at a time without losing availability of electronics in remote areas and have needed lighting without draining car battery. BTW Maddie, you inspire me in my now more independent life sans partner. Keep being you!

Hi Maddie! I absolutely love your videos and your positive attitude. Even when you're facing vanlife challenges. You are my favorite UA-cam creator and the highlight of my Sunday mornings! My best friend is a Veteran and lives with his service animal, a Saint Bernard named Elsie, in his travel trailer. He's on a fixed income and a Bluetti would be an absolute game changer for him. He and Elsie give so much back to kids by visiting them in hospitals to give them something beautiful to enjoy. Elsie is a wonderful companion and ambassador. I'd love to be able to gift him a power bank. It would help them so much. Thank you so much for sharing your journeys with us!! Lots of love to you and Eliza! xoxo🐶🐾❤️

As a full time nomad in an on-going conversion ambulance, I would love the Bluetti to use to charge up my laptop and other digital accessories. I still have a lot of work to do on my rig, solar is a ways down on that list, so having a bluetti power station would be absolute gold right now. Watching you work on your rig is inspiring, you are a rock star girl!

Hi Maddie, watch you every week and enjoy your stories, scenery and travel stories, you are an inspiration. I self converted my mini van into a camper van and have travelled down thru the states from Canada for a few months at a time. I would use my bluetti to charge my new solar panel that I just installed on my roof, charge my 60 quart compressor frig which would save me running around some new town every 2 days to find somewhere to plug in, also my tablet, phone, hearing aids, lights and heating blanket to keep warm and toasty on those very chilly nights. I would be able to use my magic bullet, kettle and even electric grill which would be a true luxury. Power is everything and bluetti leads the way!

Nice job! Loved you left in the oops when the lights fell. It’s good the Bluetti can charge while driving. A dc-dc charger for your house batteries will be so nice. I would use the Bluetti to power a cpap machine so I can camp again.

BLUETTI and Maddie! Hear my hearts call! I’m doing my first real van build and fastly moving into it:) I’d like to say it’s because I’m adventurous, which I am, but it’s really because buying a stationary home isn’t in my budget or lifestyle. I‘ve been following your adventures for awhile now and have seen the ups and downs. With a BLUETTI supporting my electric needs, I know I’ll be good to go! Thank you, Maddie! I love ya:)

I am in my 70’s and am planning to do more solo car trips around the USA as well as shorter weekend trips in my home state. The Bluetti would be so helpful as a power source. I would also use the Bluetti for power outages during the winter in the Northeast. Just went through 3 days without power due to an ice storm. Enjoy your videos and your skills not only in building out your van but also your artistic endeavors and traveling content.

Hi my wife and 20 yr old son are planning a trip to Big Bend National Park. He purchased a 2001 Dodge pickup and is spending most of his income in preparing his truck. Already had a truck bed tent, and all the extras. Having a Bluetti is something probably out of his price range but would be awesome to have a reliable power source. This will be his first trip like this and we are certain definitely not his last. We love your UA-cam videos and look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Be safe.

I often find myself functioning out of the back of my pickup truck. I would use my Bluetti AC180 for 1st for necessity, such as an electric blanket in winter and a fan or exhaust in the summer. 2nd, I would use it to charge my phone & power tools, as they are a great part of what I do. My space only has the minimal camp site basics, and it would be so nice to know there was Bluetti power source in case I became stuck somewhere. Thankyou for considering me. Love your content . Good luck on your floor and your rebuild 💯💯💯

Hello Maddie, a new Bluetti would be a God send to my 59 year old neighbor who is battling stage 4 cancer. We live in Southeast Texas and as you may know we have been experiencing very hot Summers and several freezing spells in the winter months, which means we have many power outages for those reasons and not to mention hurricanes. We help him out throughout the year but always worry about him when the power goes out due to the meds and devices he needs to live. If he had a power station in his home and any of these situations were to occur he would be set and we would all be at ease until we could get to him.
Thank you for considering him for the Bluetti give away, safe travels and good luck with the remodeling. See ya on the next video. ☺️

Hey Maddie! Great video!! As someone who has been slowly remodeling my home for about 3 years, getting that cut right, the first time is the best feeling in the world!
For completely different reasons, I've been in the market for a Bluetti for for over a year!
I rescue/ foster and transport dogs for Kanines & Kitties in S. Texas and we transport to Bottle Babies in Michigan..However I'm limited as to how many dogs I can transport at one time...even though I have the room for more dogs, I can't take chances with these precious souls and have to be prepared to stay in a dog friendly hotel if needed and the hotels limit how many dogs I can bring in. Having a separate power source like Bluetti would allow me to stay in my transport vehicle with the dogs. Dog rescue is where all of my spare money goes, I have three fosters at the moment and I do this on a volunteer basis and do not get paid for it. Any donations people have offered go directly to the 501c3 Rescue itself to pay for health care, vetting and whatever the dogs need before transport so I haven't been able to afford such a splurge.
Can't wait for the next video!! 🫶

Hi Maddie, good luck rebuilding your van! It’s amazing that you are so handy and building the van by yourself🙌 My wife and I recently got into car camping traveling from California to New Orleans. I built sleeping platform in my SUV by myself so we can experience dry camping. I installed a 12v water pump so we can take cold shower and wash dishes. If we have Bluetti AC180, we would use it to charge our phones, camera and drone batteries, electric blanket to keep us warm below freezing temperatures, invest in a 12v refrigerator to use (no more ice!), bring air fryer for easy and fast cooking, and electric stove for making coffee in the morning. Bluetti AC180 will definitely make our travel adventure much easier. Thank you!🙏🏼

Maddie - Here's to good bones and better flooring! Maybe house wrap could be used for your vapor barrier; you can get it at Home Depot. If you seal the seams and don't have any tears in it when you do the installation, house wrap can act as an air barrier as well - maybe keep the floor from getting so bone-chillingly cold. And the Bluetti would help me here on the NorCal coast where we have intermittent power outages and where I plan to take up van travel with my partner when I officially 'retire' this June. Thanks for the opportunity!

Good job addressing the bad wood. I would recommend you treat it first before you put it. Some simple outdoor wood protection will help.
And don't use vinyl tiles/strips as they warp and leave gaps. One big piece of vinyl floor is the way to go. Stick it on, and cut the edges.
Curious to see how the next part will be. So brave of you to do this outside and while making all this mess! I hope you can get everything back in.

A fresh start always feel so good. It can be as simple as rearranging the furniture in a room, to something more ambitious, like disassembling the tight jigsaw puzzle of a van buildout. Whew! It’s unbelievable seeing how much came out of there, and realizing half of the build is still in place! I admire your “I’ll do it myself” tenacity, and encourage you to always keep that poetic spirit. It’s an art that will never let you down.

As what I saw in your original build, your van build suited you, and all the guests you have had over the past few years. Kudos sister to you for doing all the work on the "remodel" of your wonderful home on wheels.
If Id be so lucky to win, my Bluetti will be used to mainly charge my CPAC machine that I need to breath properly during the night. Good luck with the rebuild! How exciting to make upgrades after years of experience. My partner and I go to 5 or 6 weekend camping festivals a year. We're looking into becoming vendors and getting out more full time (just during the summer "festival" season). We have a small battery pack for our phones and such, but something big like this Bluetti, would enable us to power a booth full of lights and the comforts to make it easier to stay out longer.

Love to see Girl Power! Can’t wait to see the new setup. Speaking of power, if I had a Bluetti, I could save a lot of time powering my tools when I help neighbors with all kinds of projects. Plus the added benefit of having backup power when the electricity goes off in a storm!

Hi Maddie, It is great that you have so much more confidence than when you started! Projects like that are so much more enjoyable when you have confidence in what you are doing.
As for the Bluetti, having a power source to charge my scooter (I am disabled) would allow me to get out on extended trips with my dog and in more remote places. I never feel like I am spending enough time with her outside of the house. Enjoy your rebuild!

Strangely I found this video therapeutic. I am budling out a van to live in full time and do not have a power source yet. I would use the Bluetti for powering my phone or pc and appliances I may putting in. Where I am winters are a challenge and the Bluetti would be a blessing.

Hi Maddie. Thanks for the journey. I would use my Bluetti as an excuse to buy a small fridge so I can be on a modified camping schedule that does not involve the time it takes ice to melt and food to float.

Great video I'm currently in the layout planning stage, so flooring is important for support. I lean towards using mold and mildew preventative paint for just in case. I'd used my Bluetti as an additional up power source---charge phone/laptop and maybe even used it outside my THOW when weather permits.

Hey Maddie! I've watched your videos since the original build and you always inspire me with your content. Whether its tackling a project, or just drawing flowers with Eliza on a rainy day. I worked with flowers for 15 years and love seeing someone talk about them on a much deeper level than I ever got to explore them. I started my own build in a box truck, more of a no build at this point, but I live in it and it works for now. My current power is zero. I've purchased a few pieces of my Solar puzzle but mostly the cheaper pieces. lol If I received the Bluetti, I would use it daily to charge batteries for electronics, power a light, and hopefully run a very small heater. Can't wait to see how your renovations turn out!

I love it when you wax poetic! Don't let the haters get to you. They're not your target audience.
If i won the Bluetti, i would use it as emergency power supply for when power goes out during storms. Additionally, it would enable my family to do more remote camping. I dream of the day my daughter (now 15 months old) gets to have a magical camping experience where we create a bubble of light and life in the middle of nowhere.

Hi Maddie, thanks for making life bearable with your content. Rather than appeal to you emotionally or pitch how it will be a game changer for me, a Bluetti would allow me to have power in my flower field so I can host flower events for my flower meadow farm. Thanks!

Maddie, this was a cool video and one I needed to see. I am moving out of my house next week, making repairs and then listing it For Sale on February 14th, Valentines Day. Then I go van or small used RV shopping. I plan to hit the road by March 15 and would use my Bluetti for my power source. I want small cafe lights outside my van and a bohemian type lifestyle. I will be 68 on February 3rd and plan to stay out in Nature as long as I can. You are an inspiration. ❤

My two best parts in this video were where you spoke poetically, and mentioned some who didn't like it, while following up with a suggestion that maybe they were watching the wrong channel. Then, your emotional reaction to the perfect fit in that piece for your flooring. Well done. -- And finally... Good Luck to everyone in winning the Bluetti! -- As for me, I'd be able to power lighting and other gear on remote shoots. Not to mention recharging batteries in the process as well. But to be honest, who knows how many ways you'll truly end up using one until you find yourself in a situation where it becomes the perfect solution.

I would LOVE this Bluetti! And, this is very timely. My car is currently sitting dead bc I sat a little too long charging my phone without running the car. It would be a game changer at this point for me. I have been slowly working on building out my suv to go full-time in the next year.
And, that feeling of pride in having built your home is something special!

You go, girl !! I am often intimidated at Home Depot, but I keep going so I can be confident in maintaining my own home. A Bluetti would be an awesome addition in my little camper van to augment my house battery that is mostly dedicated to run my frig too. Good luck with the van renovation. Looking forward to your next video to see your progress.

A Bluetti power station would really enable me to work remotely during the summers of camping - usually tied to quick turn around camping as most of my work is on a computer and semi-time sensitive. So awesome that you are doing a give away - glad the sponsorship is going well for you!

I encourage everyone who's in the planning stage to take a look at the Wayfarer Van concept. Totally modular. The idea is brilliant. I've changed up the organization of my minivan probably six times times over three years. Always tweeking and adjusting. If I were to build out a larger van, I'd seriously consider modular compontents. BTW I have a Bluetti ac180. Love it.

Great video, Maddie! I’ll be moving into my van full time in April and the Bluetti 180 would be an absolute game changer for me as I also work a full-time remote job. I have a lot of stress about relying on solar and it would bring me so much peace of mind to have the 180. Can’t wait to see the rest of your van reno! ❤

A Bluetti unit is exactly what I need to power my piano keyboard when we're on our camp trips. Live music is such a treat outdoors in nature, but unlike a guitar, portable 88 keys needs the Go Juice. C'mon Buetti 👍🏼 BTW, It IS entertaining content Maddie. Many of us build and fix and tear apart and build again, to enjoy the road in our rigs. It's fun to see someone else do it for a change. All the best from us. Ciao 😊

Good Job Maddie! I just finished the inside of my workspace/studio at home & it felt good to do a lot of the work myself like cutting mitered pieces. Not a pro by any means but I am glad I did it myself. I would use the Bluetti in my studio space to run my laptop or heater because I am in the wet PNW.
