Lovely youngsters, but please clean the droppings up . I change the nest hessian after 2 weeks, I also use kitchen paper towel under the nest bowls as when they poo over the side it keeps the nest box cleaner when changed frequently. Keep up the interesting videos. 👍.
Hi Adam have you done a Video on White Flight Feathers? and how they reproduce and how to reproduce them? is it part of pied. I have some birds with them - Just a nice touch - Cheerts
@@AdamArcherPigeons Thanks Yes I have 3+ birds with 'Very Classy" last 3-4 Flight Feathers I am going to look closely at them 1. (BladeRunner) is a Young Bird I hope to breed next year white fleck off the eye. Has a Pedigree will check it - its marking are exactly identical to a very good race bird back in its line (except this is bluebar) the bird in its line was a dark check. 2. Hard days bird (no pedigree yet) Hen Large wing (Classy White flight feathers) this is fingers crossed mating to relative of Bird (1 Blade Runner) a Dark Check Cock - this week (1. Blade Runner) will be mated to this Dark Check Cock next season he has a pedigree. 3. I have another similar bird (or maybe 2) in the loft will check its markings and pedigree they might share birds related to 1. Either way just for Aesthetics it would be nice if it inherits the race characteristics as well as the marking of the Fast Race Bird in its line and both is better. I will scan all the pedigrees and look for pieds it would be nice to get white flight feathers speed fleck off the eye and... 530km with a velocity of 2141mpm (128km/h). Birds in the line have done that and that is good enough for me. But if some of them can do that with classy white flight feathers even better.
Yesss, you should deffinately breed the lemon hen! Since this gene makes them weaker you can pair her for a colour project. Maybe lemon tiger grizzle or extreme dilute andalusian. Good luck!
Hello Adam! Congratulations for your good work and pigeons. I have one question for you: I have a single crested male pigeon and in the past year I paired that male with an uncrested female. They breed two uncrested babies which I supposed being genetic carriers of the crested mutation (corret me please if I am not right). I have the intention to got crested pigeons from this male but what should I do? Should I pair that male with a uncrested female more a time or I should pair that male with one of his uncrested sons to get crested babies (and at the same time increase genetic problems of consanguinity)? (Excuse me for some errors in my English but i'm a portuguese teenager with seventeen years old).
Pair the crested bird with one of his children. 50% of the young will be created, and you're very unlikely to run into genetic problems. Pigeons tolerate inbreeding very well.
That Lemon Hen Is Gorgeous!!
Fingers crossed for you adam,,🤞🤞
They look awesome!
Best of luck with them!
My favorite look!
Wonderful off color

As far as I know no one has studied it well enough to be sure, but yes, some form of pied gene is the cause.

Glad you enjoyed it
Any updates on the crested hen?
She's just in with the spare hens at the moment. Didn't want to pair with the cock I put her with.
Love from Bangladesh ❤️❤️

@@AdamArcherPigeons That's what I will do. Thanks for help
Really nice work love from india
just ask Adam, spread breed black pugeons?
Spread is the gene that causes black, yes
Lindos
👍👍👍👍👍👍😍👀🤝✔
Beautiful birds however it would be so much better for them to have a clean loft space.
Mate what causes spread leg in babies?? Cheers
Usually lack of adequate nesting material. They need to be able to grip in the nest to stop their legs being forced apart.
