"There are no bad teams, only bad leaders" - so true; leaders have to be aware of their teams, and above all: don't be afraid.

Own everything - 100% responsibility, 0% blame. You have to claim it to name it.
No bad teams - only bad leaders. The fish always rots from the head down. If you walk into a restaurant and the waiters are rude...look for the owner...that's your source.
True Believer - If you don't have the belief that can do (x) you might as well stop and go do something else that you do believe in. True belief is like having oil in your car, it's not going to run very efficiently or at all with the absence of that oil.
Prioritize and execute - There's always just one thing to do in any given moment. Find that one thing and do it. If there's chaos your one thing would be to find the peace.
Nothing you or I could do would make more than one grain of sand pass through this narrow neck without impairing the hourglass. Be like the grain...the is Deep Work.
3 Alarms - the 1st alarm going off is the first simple test of the day and there are only two possible outcomes...you get up or you don't.
Disciple = Freedom. How do you get more freedom? Become more disciplined.

OWN IT... NO one else is responsible. So many people running around blaming parents, life, school, choices 10 years ago. Its SOOOOOO powerful to take 100% responsibility for your life and situation. then you can start to march forward. Do you know how much can CHANGE in 90 days to 6 months (income, health, lifestyle) sometimes families are toxic and you need to get space from that TEAM and create your OWN team (family). FOCUS... on the NUMBER 1 thing. Great video.

Self responsibility is very rare in our society even in jobs that profess integrity. So many words so few verbs. In business they're are many managers but few leaders.

I'm enjoying the heck out of identifying the "bonus hard stuff" I get to do each day because I didn't take 100% responsibility or have the discipline to get the right things done and gain freedom from day to day struggles. A little better every day.

Brian I would like to recommend a book to you titled "Seeking Wisdom From Darwin To Munger" by Peter Bevelin.
It's a book about the multiple mental models that everyone can use to avoid misjudgments in their lives.
I can tell you the title of each chapter, give you an excerpt from a chapter that you are interested in reading, put an Amazon link here, or send you the book itself.
It's a wonderful book and i'd love to give it to you as a gift (or at least as a recommendation to you and your viewers).

Brian, this may sound strange but where and how do you store your notes when you are done with them? I'm trying to read more and take key notes as well but they are piling up everywhere. Do you have any tips on storage and categorization?
