During a Job Interview: so where did you learned lighting for your pictures. Me : From a Toy Review channel on UA-cam. I wonder if they will call me back.
Man I really wish you reviewed 1/12 scale action figures too. The quality of your vids is far above other reviewers I watch and your personality it great too.
Probably not the same application but I was looking for something better than the standard spotlights that come with the detolf glass cabinets. I ended up buying a 5m LED light strip with a gledopto controller. The effects are great as I get even lighting all round the cabinet and I can change the temperature and colour via smart assistant. I’ve got a full armour unicorn and a build burning gundam and when I set the lights to blue/violet the effects parts and psycho frame illuminate!
Thank you for this. I just made a stage so I can start taking photos of my kits and I was wondering about what kind of light and if there's an app necessary for a good photoshoot.
Sorry total newbie, I have a few master grade kits, and on some of them, there are specific parts that are small and keep falling off due to being loose, like the Wing Zero EW Ver. Ka has a little vent part on the chest that keeps popping off. I have heard about thickening parts with super glue (which funnily enough I don't have) to fix this, and I do have Tamiya liquid cement that I haven't used yet, but I don't know if that's the best thing for this kind of problem. Should I use it or get plain old super glue?
hey, Mr Mecha Gaikotsu, I'd love to see a video on top 10 early real grades. I thought it'd be interesting to see how the early real grades have deteriorated/maintained :p loved this vid, was pretty helpful besides the fact that I have no money to buy lights lel
I need to step up my Gunpla display lighting game. I don't have any lamp dedicated for that right now so my collection's looking a little dull and gloomy.
This was SUPER useful and educational. Saw another so called professionally photographer for gunpla but he just used blue, yellow, grey and white background....absolute garbage video.
I feel like you have the clout to actually charge companies for promos like this Mecha. You brought up a lot of talking points for a company that just sent you a free product. Get your bag next time my guy!

I know you’re joking but at this point recruiters are also probably into similar hobbies. Sometimes I ask applicants about their favorite manga 😅

Not a gunpla builder, but a car model builder, The Scalemodeling Channel was sponsored by BenQ too lol. Same day video as Kakarot even 😆
Jabman025 maybe
The next RaidShadowLegendsNordVPNRayCons?
Mecha guy are you gonna make a video about like how you build your guts custom gundam?

Congratulations you are the very first comment on this video
As someone who loves Gunpla and is very much interested in photography this is very useful, thank you
You might not be my favorite Gunpla youtuber, But inarguably you are the best. The lighting. The presentation. The editing. The best, bar none
You and my friend got me back to buying n building gundam kits again 😀

Good stuff, man. Thanks for making this tutorial.
Room tour!?!?!?! Love ur voice where are you from?, im from las vegas . Been watching all ur vids
Thank you! It would be a bad tour honestly. I’ve resorted to storing some of my gunpla in the shower at this point! 🙈
You reading my mind mecha? Damn this is a good tip for me starting getting into photography.. just, using the mobile phone though..
so informative heheheh great tips in making photography.
can you do some challenges? like building a gunpla using only a nail clipper/nail cutter
This is amazing!! More tutorials please!!!
0:55 looks like some "How it's made" shots.
Hey Mecha what your favorite Ms
Mine is the grimgerde or wing zero ew or deathscythe

10:03 BEARD REVEAL ⁉️⁉️
You can get cheap rgb tea lights to add small spots of colour and are small enough to hide in shot
i should really try that light bouncing technique
can u do display shelves and lighting next
And he does it again… definitely my favorite UA-camr
Your standards are low if this is your favorite youtuber. Very low.
@@BlueAmerican26 its his opinion chill

Will the uv light for glowing the clear parts be explained or i just missed it
Just wonder what camera did you use though
Can you tell me what kind of background did you use and what brand? Or just the type of it.
how do you clean your collections from dust? I see you display them in open shelves
man i can't wait for new HGAC the grim reaper gundam
Whats the size of the selfiering , I tried it out but my lighting ring is smaller I guess 🤦♂️
Natural light is actually the best but only outside, works for cool scenes
mfw I learned more about lighting from this one video than the dedicated photography class in college smh
that moment when you realise your favorite gunpla youtuber is living in your country.....
HGFC NOBEL GUNDAM
Interesting I thought it was going to be on how to ad LEDs lol. For like eyes and stuff
Anyone ever wished for bandai to release a Big O lineup of Real Grades? I have. A lot. And now I can't stop wanting

I think that's a Qubeley
@@UMIF001 nope but i think its a variant of a gelgoog

have you tried the mg musha gundam mk II? its a really cool model kit!
Hi, what topcoat do you use on that rg rx78-2
Backsound intro?
Can you provide some link to the small dome lights? Look pretty useful with the 3 temperatures. Eur links are perfectly fine ;)
"Absolute crap shack." Lmao
Video review more kit hg or mg gundam age series more please
How timely, I was just starting to look for tips on how to step up my gunpla photography game
8:41 wait i think its the origin zaku box
Oh I thought this was a tutorial on how to put leds inside a gundam but ambient lighting is good
This was SUPER useful and educational. Saw another so called professionally photographer for gunpla but he just used blue, yellow, grey and white background....absolute garbage video.
What size is the ring lamp
I feel like you have the clout to actually charge companies for promos like this Mecha. You brought up a lot of talking points for a company that just sent you a free product. Get your bag next time my guy!
I just bought my first gunpla,
The 1/144 RG ZGMF-X10A FREEDOM GUNDAM on HLJ, but I don't know if it's any good
Has anyone tried it ?
Kakarot197 reviewed this lamp recently.
It's really good but it is EX-PEN-SIVE!
The ring lamp is quite affordable though
@@ry0usama511 I was reffering to the arch lamp thing.
It cost something like $300 iirc.
@@fishpop ik, what I meant is that we can consider alternatives instead, a normal reading lamp might works
Hey Mecha bro, what background are you? You seem to have lived in quite a few countries
I would like to know what mic do you use for your videos?
Looks like there only a few comments
Instructions not clear, gunpla lighted on fire
Sharing your secret techniques
does anyone know what type material does Mecha use for the backdrop?
It’s a black bedsheet 😅
I did not expect that at all😅
I thought you will put light inside of your gunpla 😁😁😁
F in the comments if you want Mecha to collab with Kakarot
Mecha has a very long hair?👀👀👀
I thought that was his wife helping him, was it not?
Link to the gear?
My, my, das one expensive lamp right there O:
Hmm.... intresting
"I wasn't paid to review this lamp." I'd call being given a $230 lamp for nothing a form of payment.
