Add the RMR and it is the best scope imaginable for both long range engagement and CQB. It is a million times better than that Aimpoint M68 we got issued. I hated that thing.
My ar15 literally fell of my dirtbike with my acog. I was worried that the sights will be fcked. Picked it up, some minor scratches on the housing, still zeroed and no shifting of the chevron. Didnt zero it back ever

That’s understandable. But there is a common belief that optics SHOULD cost more than the rifle in some cases. If you can get a quality AR for $700 and an ACOG for $1,200, that’s $2k total into a pretty awesome setup that should run a VERY long time if you maintain a regular rifle maintenance schedule.
@@FeltRecoilShow im not a sniper. im a great shot but i just dont like sitting around for hours in mud doing breathing techniques. most engagements are 50-600 yards. realistically ill be shooting at targets 100 yards away. i just want a scope that can make sure that 50-600 yard shooting range doesnt feel like shooting at ants. and im on a budget. im not off buying a 3000 dollar engraved rifle every week like some people. so having a 400 dollar AR and a 1200 dollar scope feels wrong. with that money i could arm my whole family with pistols.

Problem is the 5.56 just isn't a good enough round past 300 yards. Honestly don't understand why the Military hasn't worked on making its own custom round like a . 224 valkyrie but with higher pressures for use out of a 14.5-16 inch Barrel. The 6.8x51 sounds cool but the pressure is way to high and 20 round mags vs 30 rounds kinda sucks. Should work on making a reliable 6.5 Grendel mag lol
I have a good paying job so I can afford to buy an acog but from what I just saw I'm not sold on it. At least not yet from what I heard. A four power scope is better than my 3x15 power scope because it's simpler. I'm calling BS on what I just heard bud. I need more facts or information.
If you have to spend over $1,000 on a stupid little scope you can get for seventy or eighty dollars you're compensating for something go to a psychiatrist and have that checked out

Exactly. Totally ridiculous in civilian use.
The Army paid me to use one.
Mine has taken years of abuse and it looks rough but still functions perfectly
It holds up. That’s for sure.

@felt recoil do you sell acogs? I want one it's hard to find an acog that's military graded
Im dumb so please bare with me... Whats that little clear tube looking thing on the top for?
A fiber optic rod to illuminate the reticle during the day and in bright light scenarios. This ACOG also utilizes tritium for low light illumination.

Short and to the point.
Why the fiber optic is slanted or offset??? Please somebody answer me it's bugging me all day😭 thank you
Its obvious. For more light coverage of it
I didnt have issues with mine when i was in but another guy was cleaning his rifle. Had it off. Fell 3 feet onto the ground and the glass broke
What happen if you break your issued equipment in the military? Will there be consequences?
He should've dropped it into a ammo box full of 7.62 x 39 it would've survived without a scratch. lol

ak round through the optic and it still functions ??? well its to bad the soldier using it was still usable.....
all the stops...but doesnt include QD mount like AP Comp M5, Eotech EXPS, or Elcan Specter. Thanks TJCON
You can get models with a qd mount 1st one that pops into my head is the ACOG ECOS
A lot of used ELCANs on the shelf. They're not that hot a ticket.
Order through larue for the mount
Wow bullet proof aluminum
“Pretty much”
Yea, ain’t you heard of the Bradley Fighting vehicle?
will this work on a socom 16?
I like the bacis ones. The acss has too much going on for a 16 battle rifle imo.
It was the first optic I bought
I know it has a BDC...I am trying to figure out for what grain bullet....thank you.
On the page there are different al depends on the model hell you can have the rco's for the m16 usmc model or the m4 army model
the fact its more expensive than the rifle is a big turn off.

Just say you can’t afford it. It’s for people that have money. Not living paycheck to paycheck sorry buddy get you a cheap Amazon one.
This doesn’t explain anything about the functions. Nor does it mention fiber optic assist or tritium
I have my acog on my FN MILITARY COLLECTOR M4 and it was like the two was made for each other.

The ACOG and the SCAR were made for each other.

I wish PSA would make one for $500 .00 .
There are a couple ok knock offs for around $100....
