Bit confused with your trimming of the clad seal at the ends of the shower tray. If the panel is passing behind the shower enclosure frame, can’t see how your cut outs help.

How did you put the shower in? Where are the holes for the pipes? How does the water not get in there?

+Heather Scott Yeah, they make it look easy, don't they. But in fact, cutting the holes for the pipes is just a case of measuring where the outlets are (pipes probably inside the wall, which is normal). And to prevent to have water between the panels and the wall where the outlets are: apply a good waterproof sealant (not just water resistant).
I personally don't like these type of panel, at least not for a shower. And specially if you want it to last long. Give me the old school tiles any day, and I'll be a happy camper. Now a days you have all sorts of tiles, in every shape and color that fits anyone's taste. And tiles are still cheaper if you ask me, depending on how high your budget goes, of course.
Ps: you can even get cork tiles, specially designed for showers. I'm debating whether using them or not. They are even easier than tiles, they insulate too (sound) but are more expensive and higher in maintenance (needs every few years or so a new coating of special varnish if I'm correct). I still have a few months to inform myself on those, soooo....
