  • Ever wonder why your wife or best buddy won’t step foot in your late model truck? It could be that crusty interior. Tag along as Stacey takes on the sights and smells of an ’83 Chevy in dire need of some attention. From new dash to leather on the bench seat and new carpet in the floor, Stacey shows you what a difference a weekend and some parts from LMC can make. Speaking of trucks, Stacey raises the bar with a bed lifter that will make you the most popular guy in your neighborhood. A new buffer is going to help add some shine to your vehicle and a creeper that’s simply “Magic” is sure to raise an eyebrow or two. Big things are happening in the garage on GearZ.

So the ProLine Lift King Box Topper Hood Lift is only $2,700 Model: LK4000 plus attachments, so sure i'll buy it for one time job. I'll buy friends for that job lol. Is this not suspose to be "geared" to us average Joes ? I did see Steck Manufacturing 35885 Bed Lifter for Truck Beds which is $200 just hook it to your engine hoist. Else fab something like it from an old box spring metal bed frame like that bed lifter. People always throwing them out or at thrift shop. Then could use it to with some type of stand to work on it.

truthfully a great many of the things on the show are beyond what we can do at home simply because of the cost. tools are just so expensive. what would be nice is if the parts houses would change with the times and hire people that now cars these folks today especially the women cant do anything unless the computer tells them its in Bin 5 and so many don't now the same model year can have different parts. Not to mention the quality of the parts your Autozones etc stock today is Garbage. and if they would get into tool rental and you could rent something like this Bed hoist for a half a day, day or week at a reasonable price. it would help folks like me and you and make them more$ but I do not expect there will ever be improvements like that in the retail sector. they will just keep blaming the consumer and the internet when their businesses fail

The magic creeper is definitely a terrible idea, the only time I use a creeper is to keep clothes off the dirty floor, it it was clean enough for me to use that thing, I wouldn't have a second thought about just laying on the ground directly.

Something I am seeing I n a lot of your videos that I think is sad is how many tools are being invented so that a person that does not have friends or family they can call on for help can get the job done alone. while I am glad I am not the only 1 in this position Its kind of sad that so many others are and perhaps a sign of some of the things wrong today in our society

I poked around LMC's site and the majority of the parts can be had for about a grand. Maybe another $500 in small parts. So for a minimal investment and your time you can have a snazzy interior. LMC's site is junk on a mobile device by the way.
