Great advice for any young man. I’m 77 and during my career in sales always wore a silk square. It gave a flourish to my outfit. My suit was always tailored and I wore Loakes with quality socks. I needed an elasticicated belt because I had back issues but until then had adjustable belts as you described. My pen has always been a fountain pen and I paid for a premium quality instrument. I’m old fashioned if you like but my shirts were Egyptian cotton and my many ties always silk. Needless to say I always wore cuff links, understated gold with mother of pearl. As a salesman I was dangerous to any buyer I had everything, presence, professionalism and
In these spaces, it seems you older gents are revered, as it should be. You’re showing us all what it looks like when you’ve mastered the art of gentlemanliness
When I first started in sales in my 20s I bought department store dress shoes that lasted 6 months. The older execs were all wearing Johnston & Murphys. That is all I buy. Now in my 50s, I have some around 20 years old that still look great. Replace the leather soles and heel once in awhile, polish and shoe trees.
The Pen - I write with a fountain pen and have done for over 25yrs now. Initially it’s wasnt for fashion’s sake, it was more a practicality for me. My career involves a lot of the written word and eligibility is very important as my notes would need to be read by others. When i used to use a ball pen or biro, my writing used to look like the cardiograph of someone on me thanphetamine! I mean honestly, it was totally illegible. My then colleagues bought me a lovely Parker Sonnet Fountain Pen in black and gold for my birthday and half jokingly said at the time,’This’ll slow your writing down so we can all read it. And it did! It forced me to slow the pace of my writing because I am left handed and i needed to write slow to give the ink time to dry or it’d smudge. Now, I have a nice collection of Parker Fountain pens and as an interesting side note, they are also a wonderful conversation starter, if I lend a pen to a stranger to write a phone number or something on a piece of paper, they’d usually exclaim “wow I havent used a fountain pen since school!” And it would intimate a lot of great conversations. So, Please, I do look forward to you doing a video on fountain pens in the near future!😊
Two more items worth investing more money in, and ones that last a lifetime, are a good valet stand and quality clothes hangers. Often, many men just toss their clothes into a corner when undressing to go to sleep. I think good clothes hangers are also a no-brainer.
As a teen I once read a brilliant piece of advice; you spend two hours a day in your car and ten in your shoes, spend accordingly. It’s something that has served me well ever since. Whether in a boardroom or a construction site you will never regret spending more for quality footwear.
Anson belts! If you know, you know. And for pocket squares, there are pocket square holders that help keep your pocket squares in place. I use them myself.
If buying pocket squares in a store, buy one at a time and take the tie with you that you hope to complement. I have several Anson belts, I find the adjustments to be more comfortable than a hole too far or too tight. I recommend getting the three pack with a black dark brown, medium brown (according to your shoe shades). And gold and silver buckle. I did make a mistake of rose gold buckle, I have nothing else in rose gold.
Most definitely a video on fountain pens is worthwhile. I use several, and carry one daily. Pelikan Sovereign M600, Montegrappa Symphony, Bexliey Siubmariner Gramde 2005, Tibaldi Bononia Celluloid, ST Dupont Blank Lacquer Paladium, Pilot Vanishing Point Black/Rhodium. The Vanishing Point is my daily carry. I use Noodler's Bulletproof Ink. Made to prevent forgeries. If you use it, it is basically a permanent stain if it leaks on your clothing. I have had no issues with the Vanishing Point in that regard.
I’m really excited for your stationary and pens episode. I’m really fond of writing by hand and I find that when writing thank you notes, handwritten letters of recommendation, or just leaving little notes, it makes a good impression! Whenever I write anything to give someone, I almost always use red wax which I stamp with my initial on it to seal the letter. Makes people remember the letter and they certainly keep it rather than throwing it away. Definitely stands out in this modern era.
I agree about quality items, they'll save you $$$ over the long run. Id suggest considering suspenders instead of a belt even. They dont put pressure on your waist and they are a touch of style that others will notice, usually in a positive way. 😉 As well if you live in the northern states or Canada. Good evening Sir! May I suggest a quality umbrella? Like a good pen, a quality umbrella is something that will enhance your style and you won't be inclined to lose it somewhere.
@@davidtowe9992 i actually like the idea of an umbrella, they do add a touch of style. Especially would tie into my fedoras maybe not so much my western hats though. I actually carry / use a walking stick. Given my lifestyle, environment and all, the walking stick is a little more use then an umbrella. But i may have to add an umbrella into the rotation. For the dates with my wife and daughters. 🤠
Kuoe is a great watch maker. I got my Kuoe Old Smith for under $300 and it looks great. The face is a retro 60s size - smaller than today's big, flashy faces. This gives the watch a refined look that works especially well for my skinny wrists.
If you wear a sport coat or blazer like I do, you might want to consider a coat wallet (also called long wallet or breast wallet). Elegant and convenient. Good ones do NOT have a plastic window for your ID. I got an Ettinnger, really elegant, and made to last.
I often lament that shoes are an all to often forgotten part of the wardrobe, having the right shoe really elevates an outfit. It's funny you should mention socks as today I am wearing a pair of plus fours with my long over the knee socks. Lastly on the point of pens, I have completely converted to fountain pens
I agree about the shoes. All leather from a reputable company that cares about its brand and its reputation. I don't have gentleman's shoes, but I do have a pair of leather New Balance sneakers I bought in 2014 for work and which have been used in a rather hard environment for ten years. They look fine, souls and uppers. I have a reserve pair I bought and have never used. These fit perfectly and will be serviceable in my retirement for the time I have left I believe. Go leather, go expensive for any shoes, you won't regret it. I enjoy these videos. Keep up the good work. I tried fountain pens years ago. They are beautiful and a different experience, but they are a pain and I finally just bought a Parker Pen for 20 dollars. Hey, its a pen. Your write with a pen. It is about convenience, not appearance, really. It is good enough.
PENS - I would always go for a Waterman pen. As I see it: Parker pens - for office workers wanting something better than their colleagues (sorry James:) Cross pen - worn by those who were given it as a gift. Waterman - The gentleman's own choice of pen.
One rare case where the sponsor product is actually legit. Just got an Anson belt myself a couple weeks ago and I will never go back to regular belts. I specifically had the problem of never being able to find the right size. Because of the way belt holes are spaced, it was either slightly too loose or slightly too large. the track system is actually awesome. Just be aware guys that you do have to cut your belt yourself. Out of the box, they’re like a size 60. When mine showed up I thought I must have ordered the wrong size, but that’s just how it is
Recently, I purchased two pairs of Carmina shoes. I am amazed that I spent over $400 on a pair of shoes each, but I see this is an investment in a pair of shoes that will last years and can be resold. If you're not familiar with the brand, they make terrific, loafers and lace up Oxford and Derbys. investing in quality leather goods is always the right thing to do. I also bought a cordovan leather briefcase or attaché case to carry my computer and papers to work. It looks modern, but it's from the 80s and looks very classic. My grandfather used to have the exact same one and he was a lawyer. Walking though the streets of New York I see too many men wearing backpacks like they're 10 years old.
The pen makes a statement of both education and elegance. I used to carry only a Mont Blanc fountain pen. The problem is when someone asks to borrow it and they become confused and embarrassed at attempting to write with it. I have resorted to carrying both ballpoint and fountain Mont Blanc pens.
The pen is mightier than the sword and I craft my written words through Mont Blanc and their collaboration with Marc Newson - a modern yet understated take on a classic writing instrument. Keep up the great work young man - you are creating some quality content and advice for men of all ages.
I can't express enough how much I appreciate your videos. I don't recall video in which you recommend purchasing a used Mercedes but it made an impression! Just yesterday I traded in my RAV4 and got myself a used black Mercedes and it is wonderful! On top of that, the RAV4 was valued slightly higher than the Mercedes so I also have a bit more money in the bank. 😁
I so enjoy your presentations. I have always been a fountain pen person. Even today, when I pull out a fountain pen and begin to write someone will make a comment regarding my pen. Writing with a fountain pen gives me a different feeling. I am not just writing, but creating.
You forgot the most important thing, a watch. Everybody should have a watch that has some kind of meaning, a watch you'll take care of, a watch you will wear on your wedding day, a watch you never sell. A watch your grandfather or father passed onto you, as a memory of them. May we get a video on watches anytime soon? And for those few interested in what kind of watch it would be for me, I have 3 watches with their own meaning. Tissot Seastar, the first watch my father gave me (that got me interested in watches). Longines Masters Collection, an expensive watch my father gave me as a graduation gift (my very first, "real" watch). Or my very first watch I bought for myself: The famous Orient Bambino. Great video! Patiently waiting for that next bachelorpad review!
Is this your first sponsored video? Congratulations! I've been following your channel for a while now and it's good to see that your hard work is finally paying off. You produce very good, high quality content. keep up the good work!
I'm team over the calf socks too, except in summer as I live in the humid sub-tropics, so it's no show socks or mid-capf socks in cotton. I still wear over the calf socks in summer for work though. Boardroom Socks are my go-to - made in the USA and high-quality.
I think you are spot on! I like to propose some additional items: - Shoe shining set: You can have the nicest shoes, but they need to be properly maintained. A high quality shoe shining set makes it much easier. - Watch: Should be always as good as possible. If there are financial constraints, then a vintage watch will be a good, timeless choice. - Scarf: A good scarf makes the difference in the drape and looks. It can elevate any outfit. - Glasses: Sunglasses or reading glasses. They are very overlooked. - Gloves: Not for every climate, but they are very elegant and classy - Umbrella: Often always overlooked but I am getting the most compliments: A solid stick umbrella from Francesco Maglia or Talarico are expensive but worth every penny.
Next on the list should be a quality watch. Save up for a bit and get one with an automatic movement. Tons of great styles out there to choose from depending on ones individual style and needs.
A quality automatic watch doesn't have to break the bank. There are many out there now from Seiko, Orient and others in the $200 or even sub-$200 price range in whatever style you wish, dress, sport, diver or field. For instance, the Orient Bambino is a classic dress watch with an in-house Japanese movement for within $20 or so of $200 on Amazon. Just don't be tempted to buy a fashion watch from the likes of MVMT or a fashion house. These are generally of inferior quality and you can get a higher-quality automatic watch for equal or less money from a brand that makes their own watches and doesn't churn them out from a Chinese factory with a designer name on them.
As I am working in the watch industry (being swiss, haha!) I do miss the watch as one of the main men's accessories. But you probably have covered that in an other video before. Also, I would look into the custom knife department for very stylish and even handmade options for a pocket knife. From experience I can tell you that people always remember you as the "guy with the knife" if you carry it daily. And trust me, people are often in need of a knife.
And they will never carry one themselves and destroy your $200+ knife because they don't know how to use it. You have to carry a good knife for yourself and low quality one for others.
A nice, classic belt is often an overlooked accessory. I recently bought a couple of track belts and I frequently wear them. The same concept applies goes for shoes. You're right - buy once, not twice! If you ever schedule an event in NE Florida or SE Georgia, I would welcome an opportunity to meet you.
In this accessories video you forgot the gentlemans dress knife. I always carry a Victorinox Compact, but on the few occasions i have to wear a suit i carry a Victorinox Alox Bantam. As a new or new old i got a renovated watch in the mail. It is my fathers Technos Birka a vintage swiss watch that i sent for renovation. I think my father got it from his uncle and i got it when he passed away. And now it is on my wrist.
You should really get into fountain pens and do videos on them! If you like quality, you’ll love them and never be able to go back to ballpoints. A nice fountain pen is of equal importance as a nice watch in my opinion.
Yes, I’ll definitely discuss them more in detail soon. I had to use a fountain pen in school, so I developed a bit of a dislike for them. But as an adult I grew to appreciate them again
@@Fab3rg3 I am terribly sorry to hear that-it’s certainly no sin to stick to ballpoints and rollerballs; as a matter of fact, nice writing utensils can be found in all sorts-it is, however, my duty as a lover of fountain pens to inform you that such occurrences are by no means customary; a well-maintained, functional fountain pen will not leak under regular circumstances. Indeed, there are some elementary rules to follow-rules, moreover, about which there is an excess of content on this social medium we call UA-cam-which will assure your pen will never cause you any distress and which will consequently elevate your writing immensely.
if you have a good belt, you need to apply the same kind of restorative cream that you use for your shoes, ditto for you wallet, as all leather dries out and cracks. You can keep good shoes for decades if you treat them properly.
Sorry...my comment ended up as a reply to anothet user. I would suggest a quality umbrella. Like a good pen, an umbrella enhances tour overall style and you will not be prone to losing it somewhere.
Great video! Very informative and easy to watch. The pen accessory will be my next upgrade. Also I want to start carrying a Bassett pocketknife (3 piece that was popular in the 50s/60s) for versatility.
Also look into the all silver Buck Nobleman knife, and also French Laguiole knives. For max versatility look at one of the more special edition/limited run Victorinox Swiss Army Knives.
If you are aspiring to this classic menswear style, there’s really no alternative to leather. In other fashion circles, like streetwear or more contemporary styles, sure
Can you make a video for the young viewers? 16-20 year olds, tight budgets. For example, talk about how a simplistic wardrobe with classic staples is very versatile and also saves money over chasing fast fashion trends. And in that point about avoiding big logos.
What a great video! I recently bought my first high quality suit, and to be honest it was a great feeling. It makes me feel more confident everytime I wear it to work. Unfortunately, it is impossible for me to be a part of the meetup because last minute flights from Germany to Chicago are very expensive. However, I hope to be able to be a part of the next meetup. Best regards!
These high tech micro adjustment belts always seemed gimmicky and less elegant than the traditional hole and peg belts. With belt quality, I think a nice sign of quality is to look how the edges are finished. Mid tier belts will have cut and painted edges, whereas the nicest belts have a tubular ("tubo" design) where it's just one piece of leather folded and sewn together, or have multiple pieces sewn together but still with folded leather at the edges. Crocodile belts also add the most visual interest but the price is eye watering. For shoes: Meermin is the top bang for buck. For pocket squares: Tie Bar is the cheapest I would go. Kent Wang sells really nice ones. For socks: over the calf is the way, they're so much better. Just need to launder your socks gently and hang dry them.
I hear you, but I actually like Anson. I got one myself a couple weeks ago specifically because I could never find normal belts that fit me. The way the holes are spaced, it was either too loose or too tight. The track system is actually pretty cool, but you’re right that the belt buckle has a different look than a standard buckle. For me, it’s worth it because the things actually hold my damn pants up lol
the problem with baked shoes is that they do leak when its raining - Welted shoes do not, as the sole is stitched to the welt, and not the upper, like Blake stitched shoes
Excellent video, as always. One item I would add to the list is a good quality smartphone case. Nothing degrades someone’s appearance more than plonking down a tatty phone case on a table. And Apple I’m looking at you: your “fine woven“ accessories are a disgrace.
Anson belts are not all that. I have 3 of them and sure the micro adjustments are great, but one huge drawback to me is that the buckle is bulky. That’s the worst part about them for me. If they are under a sweater for example it’s not as bad, but if I just wear a dress shirt I don’t like it. Also painted edge chipped away very quickly, after few wears; this is for 1.5” belts worn with chinos and jeans. I probably won’t buy another one ever again. My next belt is probably going to be from Fort Belvedere.
Couldn’t hurt. Say you are out on a date with a woman who smokes. Provided that doesn’t bother you, nothing says old-school class like offering her a light with a fancy, classic lighter
As a vegan - an elegant vegan I must say - find a good belt not made of leather has been quite a complicated task. Nevertheless, in the last years have appear quite a lot brands that start making very good belts with high quality. Same case in the case of shoes. Fortunately, lots of big designers have started to work with great materials that do not call for animal cruelty and allow us to remain stylish.
"Buy once, cry once" is a great rule for dress shoes. If you maintain them, a good pair of dress shoes will last YEARS. Not two or three years, five to ten years.
I'm a boomer, a much different generation. I love your content. However, I need to be careful when using the term "outfit" around my friends when describing my clothes. 🙂
I’ve spent decent money on pens- and I’ll never do that again. Every single pen I’ve bought that was over a few dollars has been lost, including one pen over $100. There’s a ball point pen I was given, quite costly, that’s useless. It used an obscure insert which is no longer available. I see pens as tools, not accessories.
Watch. Invest in a watch. It doesn't have to be an expensive one, but I humbly believe that no dignified man should be buying blatant chinese knockoff "homage" watches from Ali Babba. Lorier and Baltic are my 2 favorite entry level brands.
cologne or perfume, please dont cheap out on perfume, nobody is going to say it to you buy your versace or boss shit, smells cheap AF. Go for Guerlain, Dior, Chanel, Amouage, Killian
I don’t think you can with a straight face be recommending quote on quote stylish items whilst also trying to flog ansen belts …. I get the channel needs sponsorship but I remember alpha M et al flogging these belts years ago and they weren’t stylish then and they aren’t now.
I think that’s just down to personal opinion. I didn’t know there was any hype around them either way. I came across them while looking for belts that had a variable adjustment, since the spacing of typical belt holes never quite works for me, and these came up. I’ve had one for a couple weeks and it fits me like a glove. Yes, the buckle is a little unconventional, but no big deal
@@pensivepenguin3000 I’m not denying they are functional … but this channel is supposedly about being well dressed and he’s not promoting these belts because he personally likes them but because anson are paying him to which to me defeats the purpose of a fashion advice channel Glad u are enjoying your belt .
At the same time, buying quality (expensive) is a way to never change aesthetics due to cost. I bought a lot of crappy pocket squares, polyester blazers.. you name it, that I have already replaced, but on the way I learnt what I like and looks good. Same for shoes. £30 may be enough for leather shoes or boots. Why spending £300 just to find out not suitable for your climate, likes, uses...? Pen? When you need it, something that writes is better than nothing. If you don't get used to carry it (and you can start with a free pen), it doesn't matter if you have a £200 pen somewhere at home that you bever use. Start. Somewhere. (Or just carry in.) Not for vanity. But to save the masculine gender and aesthetics... 👀
I think you might be missing the point of this channel and others like it. Yes, whether it’s a pen or a pair of shoes, there are plenty of cheap options that will do the job. This is about something more elegant and refined. A good pair of leather dress shoes is never going to go out of style, therefore you can spend confidently on a nice quality pair knowing that it will serve you well for years to come
Are you talking about the Anson belts? I got one a couple weeks ago and I actually love the thing. It solves a problem that I always have with traditional belts - they either are a little too tight or a little too loose because of the spacing of the holes. The track system on these is actually useful and as advertised. However, the only thing I will say is the belt buckle is a little unconventional looking, but Not a big deal for me given the practicality
I wouldn’t take any criticism too seriously that starts out with “bro.” You are using unrefined slang and therefore probably aren’t any kind of authority on gentlemanly behavior
Unpopular opinion, but I prefer a ballpoint over a fountain pen any day. I've had them all and I've spent all the money and a higher quality resin / lacquer type pen (meisterstuck/expert) for me works better and is more practical for day-to-day use. Then again, I also prefer a quartz watch over an automatic, so take my opinion on this with a grain of salt
I’m with you there .. Find him him pretty weird and creepy, not to mention patronising and self righteous! He talks about style but frankly looks awful!

Indeed, I wouldn’t lend a fountain pen to someone else. Most people don’t even know how to use them and can risk damaging them.
Belts are a great touch, even for those of us who don't need one.
Thank you, sir. I've done a few others so far, but it feels good to have your support as I work with video sponsors.
I like to propose some additional items:
- Shoe shining set: You can have the nicest shoes, but they need to be properly maintained.
- Gloves: Not for every climate, but they are very elegant and classy
- Umbrella: Often always overlooked but I am getting the most compliments: A solid stick umbrella from Francesco Maglia or Talarico are expensive but worth every penny.
I would love to got to that convention but unfortunately I live near Baltimore. I know it will be a life changing experience for anyone who attends!!
Just ordered my first Anson Belt thanks to this video. They look fantastic, and i find this very informative and helpful.
Maybe a decent wristwatch for different occasions.
A high-quality leather wallet also is a must 🙂
In this accessories video you forgot the gentlemans dress knife.
Knife and lighter. Some good friends taught me this years ago.
I’m sure you gents understand why it wouldn’t be wise of me to recommend people carry a knife on UA-cam
@@Gent.Z
Absolutely. And it would be a true loss for anything to happen to this channel.
I remember being young and attractive and pulling this off. Good advice.
Every fountain pen I ever owned has leaked - ruined some good clothes! I stick to gel or ballpoint pens now.
You can keep good shoes for decades if you treat them properly.
what brand leather shoe would you recomend?
@@canadafree2087 excellent suggestions
Do you have non-leather alternatives to a belt and shoe?
If you are aspiring to this classic menswear style, there’s really no alternative to leather. In other fashion circles, like streetwear or more contemporary styles, sure
Can you make a video for the young viewers? 16-20 year olds, tight budgets.
For example, talk about how a simplistic wardrobe with classic staples is very versatile and also saves money over chasing fast fashion trends. And in that point about avoiding big logos.
Darn Tough wool socks made in Vermont. Thick, quality, lifetime warranty.
I’ve had the same Parker pen since 2003.
Could you make a video on men’s summer outfits/accessories?
Yes please talk about pens
A nice pen is what I need thank you.
Can I get a suggestion for a gentlemanly shoe for my college?
Many thanks.
the problem with baked shoes is that they do leak when its raining - Welted shoes do not, as the sole is stitched to the welt, and not the upper, like Blake stitched shoes
1. Steel automatic watch
2. Steel GMT watch
3. steel Diver watch
4. Steel Dress watch
5. Steel mechanical watch
Alongside with the pen, I’m also curious about the notepad that comes along with it.
Excellent video, as always. One item I would add to the list is a good quality smartphone case. Nothing degrades someone’s appearance more than plonking down a tatty phone case on a table. And Apple I’m looking at you: your “fine woven“ accessories are a disgrace.
Remember that the belt goes around the waist, ABOVE the hip bones.
Hurry up with the fountain pen podcast! Lol
I never buy my pocket squares. Instead, everytime I get a new suit, I sweet talk the salesman to throw in one for free.
I suggest a fresh wallet as well.
Do you think a lighter/zippo should be a part of accessories even if you’re not smoking?
Couldn’t hurt. Say you are out on a date with a woman who smokes. Provided that doesn’t bother you, nothing says old-school class like offering her a light with a fancy, classic lighter
What shirt are you wearing underneath that jacket, James? @gent.z
where i can buy shirts like the one you are wearing ??
As a vegan - an elegant vegan I must say - find a good belt not made of leather has been quite a complicated task. Nevertheless, in the last years have appear quite a lot brands that start making very good belts with high quality. Same case in the case of shoes. Fortunately, lots of big designers have started to work with great materials that do not call for animal cruelty and allow us to remain stylish.
I love vegan food and could totally do a vegan diet… But I could never give up leather goods. Fake leather sucks. I wish it wasn’t so
DO A COCKTAIL TUTORIAL PLZ!!
YES! We need to bring back cocktail hour.
Match belt and shoe color as closely as possible.
How about ties and sunglasses.
"Buy once, cry once" is a great rule for dress shoes. If you maintain them, a good pair of dress shoes will last YEARS. Not two or three years, five to ten years.
0:00 The french saying is "achetez Chinois, achetez deux fois" = Buy chinese stuff, buy it twice(cause it breaks fast)
What socks are those?
Cant think of the last time i used a pen to write something down.
I'm a boomer, a much different generation. I love your content. However, I need to be careful when using the term "outfit" around my friends when describing my clothes. 🙂
Nice one :)
You missed having a good reliable watch.
Bauhaus..
Since a cow eats grass and I only wear shoes or belts made of cow does make them vegan?
That would be the opposite of vegan, technically it's a vegetable product I suppose.
Great video!
Where are your socks from?
no wristwatch ?
Love your stuff, sir. Are your eyebrows really like that, or do you help them out a bit?
Socks shorter than crew are horrible.
Watch. Invest in a watch. It doesn't have to be an expensive one, but I humbly believe that no dignified man should be buying blatant chinese knockoff "homage" watches from Ali Babba. Lorier and Baltic are my 2 favorite entry level brands.
the long socks arent gonna stay on hairy legs, whats the alternative?
I have very hair legs and trust me, they do
cologne or perfume, please dont cheap out on perfume, nobody is going to say it to you buy your versace or boss shit, smells cheap AF. Go for Guerlain, Dior, Chanel, Amouage, Killian
Cut down the promotions, if you are in the advertising business on commission, don't mix it in a gentleman's channel.
No gentleman would.
Worth every penny? Canadians don't even have a penny anymore!
@@pensivepenguin3000 I’m not denying they are functional … but this channel is supposedly about being well dressed and he’s not promoting these belts because he personally likes them but because anson are paying him to which to me defeats the purpose of a fashion advice channel
Glad u are enjoying your belt .
A good pair of leather dress shoes is never going to go out of style, therefore you can spend confidently on a nice quality pair knowing that it will serve you well for years to come
pocket square? ....no, no, no. Avoid. Use only if you're the groom.
What makes you say that?
Lousy buckles. Nothing traditional. Gimmicky.
Dude, check the fit of your jacket, it should not be bunched up at your neck and shoulders.....
bro has such a terrible posture
I wouldn’t take any criticism too seriously that starts out with “bro.” You are using unrefined slang and therefore probably aren’t any kind of authority on gentlemanly behavior
Unpopular opinion, but I prefer a ballpoint over a fountain pen any day. I've had them all and I've spent all the money and a higher quality resin / lacquer type pen (meisterstuck/expert) for me works better and is more practical for day-to-day use. Then again, I also prefer a quartz watch over an automatic, so take my opinion on this with a grain of salt
Mans wearing his mother’s tights, you know it, I know it. Still can’t figure out if this is a comedy channel, he’s fecking hilarious.
I’m with you there .. Find him him pretty weird and creepy, not to mention patronising and self righteous! He talks about style but frankly looks awful!
In the words of Jay Z, “men shouldn’t be jealous - that’s a female trait.” Maybe you fellas should ditch the sweatpants and T-shirts and Try dressing with some class, yourselves. Then you might understand where James is coming from
