Eye-opening list! All were unexpected, especially "Someday"! Will be listening to the bass lines in my favorite 90s tuned a bit more attentively now.

I'm gonna cheat a little and suggest a 90's Billboard number 1... from the Rock chart. Hey, it also did 32 on the top charts, so I'm not cheating that much.

Awesome, catchy line for the intro and verse that works perfectly for the song and stays in your head for... well, 26 years and counting. Also, Royston sings as well, which makes it even more awesome.
Great choices! I would add this underrated gem from 1998: “Crush” by Jennifer Paige. I used to get really disappointed when the dance remix would play on the radio, because it had the nerve to omit that awesome bassline in the chorus
Nice video, when it comes to 90's bass, I mostly associate the decade with Flea and Stuart Zender
Almost number one hit with a sick bass line: Wild Night by John Mellencamp and Meshell Ndegeocello. Peaked at #3, but seriously amazing bass.
Great video I actually hadn't considered some of these songs because the 90's were so drum and synth heavy but I now see them in a different light
I couldn’t believe that “Try Again” by Aaliyah wasn’t on the list, then I Googled it… recorded in 1999 and released in March of 2000.
It’s synth bass but it is SO dope and Timbaland absolutely destroys it!

Could have also used Make It Happen, another great Mariah song with a cool synth bassline.
