    i want to ask few questions
    i have scored 97 % ( german grade :- 1.13 ) and almost same in 12th std . So after taking university entrance exam in my own country , to avoid studienkolleg ( it is recognised by german universities ) and I apply to big universities like KIT , TUM or maybe Saarland will I have high or mediocre chances of getting in ?
    btw do opting for german taught course after passing TESTDAF almost make sure my admission as a lot of people were giving advice to students that it is very easy for international students to get selection in german taught course ?
    moreover is that interview/essay thing is necessary for every university ? and is it tough ?

      Hey! :)
      At least for my study program it is not important.
      My guess would be that most of the time they are not very important, because there are no limited places. I think they might be more relevant when there would be limited places and two people with the same amount of points in background, GMAT, GPA, ..., maybe then they would look at extracurricular things to decide between those two people.

So i ask if due to German law am i discharded, must do a testing year to prove that what i learned applies to TUM, or must repeat the last highschool year in Germany; or an even more radical solution, try luck in other country where it is legal like France, the States, Italy, Austria, or Canada.

      Hey! :) what is do you mean by testas? But usually you can look it up in your progrmams application description. If it is in there they will also consider it...

    Hallo markus! Welche Zulassungsvoraussetzungen gelten für jemanden aus einem anderen Land?
    Was muss ich tun, um Informatik zu studieren, ohne die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft zu besitzen?

    • @markus_rut
      @markus_rut  Рік тому

      Hey :) Also es hängt nicht von der Staatsbürgerschaft ab, sondern nur von der Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (sprich in welchem Land du deinen Abschluss gemacht hast). Wenn du außerhalb von Deutschland auf der Schule warst bewirbst du dich ganz regulär, musst aber zusätzlich eine Vorprüfungsdokumentation machen über uni-assist. Je nachdem in welchem Land du auf der Schule warst musst du noch zusätzliche Sachen beachten, aber das steht alles auf der Website vom Informatik Studiengang ;)

    Hey,
    when you say gpa do you mean college gpa or high school gpa they are looking at??

    • @markus_rut
      @markus_rut  Рік тому

      They will look at your most recent graduation, so if you apply for Bachelors they will look at high school. If you apply for Masters you will be evaulated based on your grades from your Bachelors.
      But not only the grades but also what classes you had will be considered

    Hi Markus. Im Studienfach Informatik (Bachelor) steht folgendes in der Fassung:
    „Wer in der ersten Stufe 84 Punkte und mehr erreicht, hat das Eigungsfeststellungsverffahren bestanden. Dies gilt nicht, wenn die fortgeführten fachspezifischen Einzelnoten in den Fächern Mathematik, Deutsch, Englisch oder der besten fortgeführten Naturwissenschaft inklusive Informatik in der HZB nichg ausgewiesen werden. Auch bei erreichen der Punktzahl ist die fachspezifische Eignung durch Ablegen der zweiten Stufe des Verfahrens nachzuweisen.“
    Ich hätte die erforderlichen 84 Punkte im ersten Schritt des Verfahrens und würde ja dementsprechend direkt zugelassen werden. Allerdings verwirrt mich der letzte Satz… muss ich jetzt trd. den Test im 2. Schritt ablegen?
    Danke dir im voraus. 🫶🏽

    • @markus_rut
      @markus_rut  Рік тому

      Wenn ich es richtig verstehe heißt das nur, dass du trotz erreichen der 84 Punkte in die zweite Stufe musst, falls du eine Mathe, Deutsch, Englisch oder die beste Naturwissenschaft nicht ausgewiesen hast. Dementsprechend: Wenn du alle Noten angegeben hast und die 84 Punkte erreicht hast musst du nicht in die 2. Stufe und wirst direkt zugelassen :)

    Hey Markus. Thanks for the videos, it really helped a lot.
    I am from India and planning to pursue MSc in Management and Technology from Munich campus. The GMAT is a necessary requirement for applicants from India and will be attempting my GMAT next month.
    I wanted to know if GMAT can be considered as proof of English language, as on the website under - List of documents, it does mention that GMAT can be considered, but I am not sure if it is applicable to that course. Also I am not sure about the curricular analysis thing, if you can throw some light on that too !
    I also have messaged you on Discord, if you can guide me on this, I would be very grateful. Thanks
