    Well guy's and gal's if you want a nice well put together motor here's your guy. Watch his videos when he's in his own car doing the 1/4 Mile. Thanks once again for your time and talent we sure are thankful there's someone we can hook up with to build us a nice motor.

    Very nice work on your engine build. Wish we had more shops in our area with guys that had your type of knowledge on the the small details that can make or break an engine build. Thanks for your great video!

    Hey man,
    This is probably one of my favorite and most informative video you’ve posted. For some reason your audio was cut from like 5:05 to 15:45. Is it possible to reupload this video with the entire audio? You have a lot of great information and I’m bummed I can’t hear it. Hopeful you see this, thank you!

    As always dig the videos. I was wondering how the 2180 in ur buddies bay is doing? I daily a 70 hi-top camper and the 1600 is taken care of, but 132,005 miles so far and im looking for more go. I was also wondering if lowering helped his mpg? Can't afford to drop it yet. Thanks for any info. I Dig your 64'! I had a late Oct 64' with metal sunroof long ago and miss it!!!

    Aren’t you supposed to hold a 1500-2000 rpm for 20-30 min to break in the cam ?

    • @volkstroke
      @volkstroke  2 роки тому

      I do it 3500 rpm for 20 minutes

    • @volkstroke
      @volkstroke  2 роки тому

      Or if it kills the 2 gallons of gas in sooner oh well I’ll run it another 10 and start the tuning of idle speed

  • @erwinsm10
    @erwinsm10 2 роки тому

    2180 cc big engine but mainly made for torque not really speed if the peak at 5k rpm . Will this run hot temps ?

    • @volkstroke
      @volkstroke  2 роки тому

      No higher temps the heads are very well designed and run very cool and yes as a bus it’s not a high rpm engine by design

      Even more for aluminum block see how even with the return of the full flow i manage to not cut the hole in the tin like everyone does
