Harstem if you have auto repair on with Scvs it turn A-move from attack to repair comand, unless you A-move to a unit. With this you can select svs turn on auto repair (default shift r) A-move them past the units you want to be repair and then hold shift and click to minerals. No need to click individual units.
a great entertaining video, lots of epic battles and mass battle scenes. I think this is what my ideal SC2 memory scenes look like from the feel of the original game
I'm by no means a SC pro, but it looks like one of the big issues you're having here with the Raven is that many of the auto turrets you're casting don't actually get placed, due to your opponents units physically blocking the deployment. This issue is compounded by the way the Ravens move in general. They tend to branch off individually to deploy a turret and then sit on top of it, so if you make a bunch of move commands, they wind up flying over the enemy army with no cover from the auto turrets. I was noticing that your best auto turret deployments were always behind your units or after the opponent had pulled back, it became possible to form a firing line of turrets. The Raven is a great unit, but you will suffer until you adjust tactics to account for these weaknesses. In my limited experience, Ravens perform best when you deploy the turrets and point defense drone ahead of an attack, or behind your units so that you can pull your units back into them.
For how long have you not been playing sc anymore? The point defense drone has been gone for ages and turrets last so shortly that you cannot really deploy them long before a fight xD
@@asdfasdf-mn8iu Even with the shortened duration of turrets and no point defense drone, turrets do you no good if you can't deploy them due to being physically blocked by your opponents units.
@@myaantares4036 Absolutely correct, but placing turrets, then running your units back and then arriving while the turrets have about 1 sec of lifetime left will spend energy AND leave your ravens exposed to the opponent. In the past, turrets had a lifetime of 180-240 sec, so that vastly changed.
At 15:16 you start talking about the flaws of mass raven. As a terran player I hope I can add a new perspective on this volatile build. Oh but if I could macro... My friend, all you need is 4-6 ravens off of 2 star ports, for your first push. If you nail the timing its gg. Second point, right after they know you have ravens I suggest adding in a few vikings to your composition. Third, going thor and raven is too gas heavy in my opinion, the humble marine tank at home would be more helpful. Lastly have 2 groups of ravens, and use them alternately so that you always have enough energy for interference matrix. I love watching your games I always love to here new approaches to builds. I do have one question for anyone who knows.. can you interference matrix vipers to stop them from grabbing your battlecruisers, tanks, and other essential units in late game?
I dreamt I was on a ski trip and you were playing in the Sc2 global finals, you won your first set against Dark (?) and I had high hopes for you grabbing the whole thing. Make of that what you will, should probably stop watching these vids before going to sleep
I genuinely want to see an anti armor shot on top of an emp against Protoss. I don’t have the ability to control that combo. But I don’t know why we don’t see guys like Clem use that combo. I feel like that would be completely broken.
Your remind me of High School I walked through the library to get to next class with a bottle of milk. The librarian said I am not allowed to have a drink in the library and sent me to get detention. I had to go to the Dean and this made me late to my next class. If you're talking about seeker missles and point defense drones, those were removed a while back in favor of anti-armor missle (makes units orange and reduces their armor by 3) and interference matrix (disables a single units' attacks and abilities but not their movement for 11 sec) Both these abilities were used later in the vid
@@mothrahlurker788 i had no idea, i literally played the campain last year and they were right there. SO they must have removed them recently. DOnt know why, they were really cool
Harstem, why do even pros not always build ravens against zerg? They waste thousands of potentially mueled minerals on scans instead of building a single raven. Why is that? because they are harder to micro? Can not even the pros play ravens properly? do you think they need a weak auto attack like high templars got?
31:20 "I'm out of scans."
Am I the only one who doesn't even play sc2 anymore but still watch all these?
Pretty sure we are the majority of harstem watchers :D
We Are 😂

Ok both Uthermal and you going mass ravens at the same time. Let’s call mass ravens “The Flying Dutchman” from now on.
Haha, nice!

The minimap is a true representation of the opponents bases. Where are all these units coming from? "Nobody knows".
A funny note is you can inference queens and vipers too, it effects psionic/mechanical.
That last game was amazing - well done captain!!

Next BGWSS, F2 army movements only or using mainly siege units

why in the world is the captain not using aa missiles
Try this:
DOMINATION
Expand to at least 50% + 1 of all Resource Nodes on the map. You loose if your opponent surrenders before. SHOW DOMINATION :)

Nice. uThermal like to mass Ravens as well. It's so funny to watch. :)
Viking: why do you ignore me, Harstem?
Raven's aren't underrated, it's just a skill issue. The top terrans are unable to build some of their best units, unlike what you see in other races.
Terran players after Harstem told them to just build a Raven:
Dear Harstem..... RAVENS ARE IMBA
Goes mass raven, 37:32 ... 😳🥴😜😍
More proof
Scientists = your opponent
only Harstem can play with a shit ton of Ravens and not use a single homing missle thing or ppd xD
