Just got one of these yesterday. You can pull the “neck” of the camera up from the square base that allows it to look down a lot further. It’s kind of hard to pull up and it feels like you might break it, but it does extend enough to get a much better downward facing angle.

In a lot of UA-cam reviews on Samsung M8 smart TV monitor, no one yet mention to lower the monitor to the lowest height to use the webcam at eye level.
you definitely can lower it - i showed how to briefly in my video! however depending on the height of your table, the lowest height setting of my webcam is still quite high unfortunately :( this probably won’t be much of an issue if you have a standing desk tho

How are your external speakers connected? I'm having an issue: my external speakers (connected USB) work fine in gaming and media modes but just can't figure out why they won't work in workspace. They show up in settings and when the settings menu is open the sound is played through the external speakers but once I close the menu, it goes back to the internal monitor speakers. very confusing...
Can you tell us about your external speakers? I have this monitor connected via the USB-C to C cable that came with the monitor. The display, camera, and microphone are all working well. But... the audio is terrible. It's garbled and frequently has an echo. I've ordered a new USBC4 USB-C to C cable. Hoping this fixes the garble/echo. But I'd also like to attach external speakers for better sound quality overall.
Bought the green one on sale for $349 on Amazon, so far I love it! Was able to hook my 2020 MacBook pro seamlessly through the USB-c to USB-c cable.
Hi I know this is a bit late but when you have your laptop plugged in what’s the maximum hz you can get displayed? I know this monitor has 60hz overall but I’ve heard it goes down significantly when you’re plugging in a second device.

yes this was the closest i could get to match with my macbook :) but feel free to modify it to ur liking!

How does it perform in dark room, does it have any kind of white haze around it ? And in the video i noticed there is a light black kind of haze at the edges , is it visible in real to ?
there is no haze that’s just my colour grading of my video

how old is your macbook? are you able to connect via usb c?

yes, so for older gens (like myself i have a 2017) webcam will not work, it has to be the newer gens tht can connect via usb c not via hdmi
how did you configurate the camera of the monitor???? i have asus laptop and i want to configurate the camera to use microsoft team for my clases
it would only work if ur laptop accepts the usb-c it came with (as in if the usb-c it came with and it can both power ur laptop and extend the screen of ur laptop then likely the webcam should jst come up and u can use it)

how large is your desk? I have an m5 currently and wanna transition into using it on my desk setup
pretty sure mine’s just 120x60 cm, i would say its a pretty tight fit (wish i had a longer one lol)

You can pull up the camera and then tilt it to get an ok angle.😉
unfortunately even tilting it at the lowest setting is now low enough 😅

@@loveactionalyssa OH! 💖 That’s awesome! Right now I’m currently using Apples Thunderbolt Display. It’s became so outdated. It’s beautiful (I love the glass and how big the screen is) but in order to draw or for it to even WORK you have to have a MacBook Pro.

this is just a monitor… so you use it with a PC or to extend your laptop screen

it depends on what you are using it for really are you just using it as a smart TV like to watch videos, listen to music etc.? it has an internet browser for browsing but it would be hard to use imo; if you need it for video editing, making documents etc you definitely need more than just a monitor - think of this as just a normal computer monitor but ~slightly elevated~
