Why humble, he wasnt cocky at all. Stop making title just to get views
fr👍
Glad someone else wrote this, these kinds of titles bug me.
Was about
To write the same thing!
I was watching to see where he needed to get humbled 😂😂😂
Bills need to be paid, not made at OP
Dude fought one of if not the best fighters of all time, looked respectful, and lost with dignity. I see nothing wrong
No question the best pound for pound fighter of all time
Legit, they did him dirty just because he was big lol
Ridiculous title. The guy is a brown belt. He’s already been humbled a million times before getting to where he is now. BJJ is a nonstop lesson of humility no matter who you are.
🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
Except MARCIO PEIXOTO. He is a sadistic POS that enjoys hurting people and has no honor.
Oh yea sure, all yiu guys do is pull guard or go for ankles, or wait fir someone to get tired
Fr he literally smiled and shook mighty mouses hand right after 😂😂😂
@@bimbam5167??? That's what you do when you're a serious competitive athlete.
That guy wasn't humbled, he was honored. Bad title. But regardless I'm really glad I got to see this, thank you. MM is the goat for me.
That was exactly what I was about to comment!!!💯 This was so much mutual respect displayed here.💪🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
My goat too
Bradley Martin - but I’m 260lbs 😂
Haha 😂 he should watch this and stop saying that
I was thinking this the whole match
@@dominus2361Let's be real boys the giant was clearly going super easy on mighty... Still kinda impressive tho ngl.
@@itaachiiino he wasn't, he ģave his all and lost
@@itaachiiishut up Bradley. The big guy gave it his all and still lost.
A very polite big man.
Polite for sure. He came out the gate respecting the challenge.
What a fair and amiable chap Mr Medina appears to be, readily smiling and shaking hands after defeat, sometimes the grace you lose with is a win in itself.
Johnson is one of the most exciting mma guys on the planet. The UFC was crazy letting him go. He fights for a ko or submission every second of every fight. My of my all time favorite fighters.
UFC has never been a place for the best fighters. just the best showmen
Not surprised this is why Mighty Mouse is a GOAT dude is no joke
Impressive but it seems he just beat him rather than “humbled” him. Not sure what that title is about, saying Medina was humbled suggests he was arrogant or disrespectful of Demitrious which is not true from what I've read.
how is it not being humbled? he had twice as much mass and was defeated. It was a humbling experience for him no doubt
@@JeffPenaify only if he believed his larger size was in itself enough to get an easy win. If the big guy was considered to be the favourite for an easy win but had said preflight that he expected it to be a tough match and he knew his size wouldn't be a decisive advantage, then you might say he was very humble. If he then lost it would be absurd to say that he was humbled because he had already shown that he was humble.
I don't know what he said preflight or what spectators expected of the fight but his prematch comments were very humble and respectful of his opponents skill. I see no evidence that he was arrogant even in that showy way that fighters do to promote a fight.
People and their opinions… imo there was no evidence to suggest he was disrespectful, in combat sports you needs to believe you can win and you’re better, otherwise find a different sport.
@@jacobpaint you have a warped view of what humbled means in those context, you dont have to be particularly arrogant to be humbled
@@JeffPenaify me and many other people who have commented. If my opinion is warped then I guess many other people who commented are also warped.
That ref was determined to block the shot.
He ain't called mighty mouse for nothing..
Wtf u talking about "humbled"
I love how MM looked like a trained animal handler getting muscled about by the bigger animal but he's still in total control.
Honey Badger VS Lion.
Mongoose VS King Cobra.
That finish was honestly the most bad ass smaller vs larger BJJ finish in the history of the sport. Bar none. Show me.a better one. Honestly the best finish period in the history of the sport. Unbelievable
Big guy being a brown belt couldn’t just bridge over? Wow… mighty Mike such tremendous speed and timing, such an inspiring athlete!!
Think the referee’s job is to stay in between the fighters and the camera as much as possible.
He's so great! True master. Good job DJ!
Lmao, the big guy didn't even know where to grab him, it looked like he was holding on to a purse while being robbed lmaoooo
4:57 lol amazing to watch the leverage slowly work with his much smaller build, finally toppled the guy
He wasn’t humbled at all dude went head to head with a legend of the sport
He's small but mighty.
Here he comes to save the day!!
Amazing
I love this guy.
He’s the goat!
Yes sir 😀!!!
Insanely clean single
Mighty Mouse is so skilled.
Was the big guy being arrogant the whole time that merits the humbling experience?
No just clickbait title😂
Good good good 👍
Wow amazing skills!!!!!
The 🐐.
Mighty’s lucky that dude ain’t 260, he’d be toast
What did bro even do at the end? I'm a blue belt in BJJ with 9 years of wrestling and have never seen that in my life
Dudes a full brown belt on top of it, I honestly would have guessed he would have won with that much skill and size - but that boy is on another level
Goat!!
MM is the man.
Great move. No matter how big and strong you are, you can be tipped and thrown off balance by a person's bodyweight pulling you in a direction that you're not braced against.
Society done told everyone bigger means automatically better
Vegeta VS Zarbon (second fight).
Smaller feller kept his center low and negated the big guy's reach advantage once he was inside.
Nice match.
The Mighty Mouse..... The real TBE!!!
What is that rolling submission called in bjj ?
It is definitely a Craft. It is not about how big you are, but how much you know about your craft. No one got beat up or embarrassed, it was artful.
6'3" giant? bro..
good match tho
Bradley bern real quiet
When I was 66 pounds I could throw guys 200. Judo is the best technique for small guys because the opponents weight is used against them. Once a big guy lands flat on their back they are ready to go...and fast.
Does honor to his name 😂
If it were MMA, this would be a diferent story
Definite "Princess Bride" vibe there.
Mighty mouse.. more like a damn house cat 😂😂. Amazing with his control on some one that size and skill.
Thats a Barn Cat dude
That finish looked staged like professional wrestling.
still asking myself and everyone in chat what was the finishing move?
Its called a bow and arrow choke
He is / was a brown belt. He knows that he can be hammer or the nail.
4:45
Nothing at all to feel "humbled" over. There was even an impressive reversal right before the end of the match. 🙏
Big guy was a good sport. No shame - at all - in losing to Mighty Mouse.
looks like big guy was super unskilled. Never even bridged to get out.
Mighty mouse has a great smile too 😬
Nice single leg👏👏👏👏
Luckily the giant wasn’t also a judo black belt
Almost seems impossible, surely the gi helped even the odds? Bravo to both competitors, but dang especially to Demetrious. Such an incredible athlete.
I thought they were playing patty cake at first
The best.
He's a big guy, but when did 6'3" become "giant?" And Mighty Mouse is mad good, any intermediate would struggle against a Pro like him, regardless of his size.
Compared to MM, yes, he's a giant.
I remember seeing his social media and he is blessed with a beautiful and supportive wife! He must be deserving.
So how was he humbled?
Both were humble af, stop with the clickbait already
Wow
Mighty Mouse
Literally exactly a foot taller (5’3 vs 6’3) and 100+lbs heavier…
One of the dumbest moves the UFC ever did was trading Mighty Mouse for fucking Askren lol.
we needed Askren for the Masvidal KO
Mighty Mouse didn't do anything for the UFC financially. No one cared about him, his PPV buyrate numbers were horrible. Obviously Askren didn't do any better, but there was a lot of hype behind him at the time so the UFC had to try something. At the end of the day it wasn't even a big loss because again, Mouse didn't make the UFC any money.
From the honey badger style of judo.
Kevin 'im 5'4 okay!?' Hart vs. larger Ice Cube 😂😮. *But jokes aside MM is a beast bro*
Title is misleading, A Big thumbs up for MM the goat though.
was it a gi choke?? couldn't see what he set up
Big guy's arms were free. Seems like he put up very little fight.
You are right mate. 4.50 sec. Into fight i think he had a chance there. Staitgh legs and spread them so oponent can't pull you but he is tirred and not the same level
whos the coach that's yelling?
Crazy. Same BJJ skill level, but 100lbs and and a foot taller still loses.
Not the same skill level. It’s like comparing Novak Djokovic to #250 of the ATP-list. Even at the top (especially!) there’s a LOT of skill difference. DJ isn’t goat for nothing….
@@PatNetherlander Both brown belts. I don't follow or know much about BJJ.
because they are obviously not on the same skill level...
@@pauldavis5665 Belts are the same, both won their weight divisions. Obviously Johnson is better because he won, but the point is he best a high level guy who is that much bigger.
@@orionsimerl6539 Some schools are very generous with giving away belts. Not all have the same standards. It is clear that that guy should not really have the belt color he is wearing, he is blue or purple belt level at best.
This means nothing to me I have beaten Gordon Ryan 5 times and there is no reason to prove myself!!
I can't see what the finish was, was it some kind of collar choke?
Bull all the way.
Was that a pin at the end?
Slightly suspect.
That's super impressive
Let's be real the giant was clearly going super easy on mighty... Still kinda impressive tho ngl.
@@itaachiii om not so sure, why would he go easy in a competition?
@@carlitor4173 wym not so sure bro just watch the vid... Guy ain't even using force except for two instances in 6 mins lol
@itaachiii you don't understand JJ it'd not about force, he was controlling him
@@carlitor4173 It's not about force generally, but a bigger guy who's athletic can generally beat a smaller guy. I'm a 235 pound athlete who's a very strong weightlifter with a tiny bit of wrestling knowledge, but no real experience. My friend is a purple belt in jiu jitsu, but only 170 pounds, and say's he's very skilled. I bet that I could tap him out without jiu jitsu experience and I did. We locked up while standing, and a got a hold of him and slammed him down, pulled his arm over his head and choked him unconscious accidentally, just overpowered him. My other friend moderating told me to let go since he didn't tap, he passed out and it scared me.
please get a stabilizer on your camera
That was legendary!
But I didn't quite get what the finish was...
Some kind of bow-and-arrow choke, I think.
The title misuses the term "humble" - this was a great match with mutual respect, the title makes it seem like the bigger fighter was somehow cocky. Not true.
No shame losing against MM.
Mighty mouse is the senior qualified. If you look at belt ranking. But as in most Eastern origin martial arts size is no guarantee of a win. It is all about technique and the skill to apply it.
The multiple MMA world championships helps a bit too.
I'm 6' 3" and weigh about 230; we are just slightly larger than average
I love the only fans sponsorship @ 5:10 on the gi
Was there a negative interaction b4 the competition???
Why is this titled someone getting humbled???
Demitrious Johnson arguably pound 4 pound in The World.
Great competition by both and great win by DJ, 👊🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
Whats with the humbled narrative? Its great to see BJJ work in spite of the size difference, but to suggest that the big guy was humbled is misleading.
Was it a collar choke? I couldn’t see.
Bow and arrow choke?
1:50
Skill vs. Size
The other guy is a black belt also
bruh the other guy is a whole world of world champion@@carlitor4173
@@carlitor4173 this is how you know its bs and clearly staged for djs win

that big guy not a true brown belt right???
