Both the elevator and the freight elevator are so useful, for the future it's good to know that they are both also blast resistant. Makes for a great way to dig down, explode your way to the ore and then put in your foundation and miners after
You can hold down left click to drag ramps and stairs. Makes it way easier to put in long sets of stairs. Also water makes no difference, everything works in water.
Yeah that upgrading system is fantastic so much less tedious than other games I've seen! Elevator seems great too, love the way it builds itself, having a freight elevator working on similar principles will also be great, I also noticed that the base freight elevator has a speed of 320/s same as t2 belts, so i assume t2 freight elevator will match t3 belts!
At the start I did my bus like yours. but after seeing Nilaus solution I rebuilt it. Just making the bus go 1 block above and using a splitter and down slope, going under the other belts to destination.
That was one of my options but, at the time, I was worried about upgrading belts because I didn't know how that worked. Anyway, in the end it worked out okay after I cleaned it out.
@surtrplays I think they need to have the mining drones have a setting to enable excavation of other materials besides ore that would be a nice feature in the game
Life gets easier when you research the jetpack. I like the changes they made to the underground mining. Drone platforms are much better than the ore train drill thingy.
The thing I really dislike about this game is the limited resource nodes. I understand the game mechanic and the purpose, I just think it is an unnecessary complication that adds little to the overall play of the game. There are plenty of other ways to encourage exploration, and the only thing this mechanic does is force you to place hundreds of belts along the landscape. It is a huge interruption to the flow of the game, it isn't interesting, and it ends up being a waste of both resources and time.
@@surtrplays Regardless of the transport method, what I mentioned still applies. Limited resource nodes is a bad game mechanic I feel. They could have permanent nodes and fulfill the purpose of exploration and expansion by placing different resources in different biomes. It enable all the different transportation modes and gizmos without having to rebuild your infrastructure every few hours. I enjoy the game I just find that game mechanic very annoying and pointless.
Once you get towards the end of the current tree, you unlock a tech that makes mineral nodes infinite. There is a resource you need to make it so, but the volume you can get of that borders on a functionally infinite supply as well.

Oh! I didn't even think to look at if they are blast resistant. That is a great tip. Thanks.

Thank you very much.
Loving the series!
Thank you for watching.

I think you are right about the T2 Elevators. Yes, the upgrade mechanic is really good.
I mean who doesn't love using the Explosives :) another great episode
Thanks Nossa. Much appreciated.
would be helpful if they gave you a blast radius indicator when you place an explosive, like in Deep Rock Galactic
Absolutely.
this game looks better every episode, love it!
It is really good. Thanks for watching.
What do you press to upgrade the line of conveyors from tier1 to tier2?
Just select the tier 2 and hover over it. You will se it get an outline, and then left click.
Im about where you are now in a playthrough n watching you has helped me a lot, cheers :]
I'm glad that I could help. Thanks for watching.
Love the explosives and elevators in this game and soon... well I'll let you discover. :)
Interesting. Thanks.
Nice content, was looking for a good example for elevators and found one!
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching.
thank you for figuring out the elevators for me. I sat there 10 minutes.
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching.
@@surtrplays Side note - I tried for about 30 minutes to get it to run underwater :( didnt work.
Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad I didn't bother.

do the platforms and stairs carry power?
The platforms carry power but the stairs and catwalks don't.
The elevators are a game changer
Absolutely brilliant.
i must be dumb. How do you set the unset input/output ports for liquid production?
Set the recipe and see which ports are available. Sometimes you need to turn a machine to make it work as the ports are fixed for each recipe.
@@surtrplays i wish you could set them how you want them
It would be nice but in the meantime the pipes will be just a bit more messy than you want them.
@@surtrplays yep. its still early access so maybe thats something theyre working on (or not lol)
@@dopeymomasboy I hope they are.
Liked and subbed, great video 👍
Awesome thank you!
You will just love making firmarlite plates for tier 3 Assemblers😏
Oh joy!
Another great video.
Thank you kindly.
Hi fpr the mine in the water try building a dam and drain it with a pump. Not tried and also not there in game but just a sugestion
That is a great idea. It would work in real life.
My Entire factory is inside of a mountain bigger than that 7000 Explosive later it's not too bad nice and Is roomie🤣
That sounds great. A lot of bangs.

I saw cargo planes. That is how these games go. You do a bit of difficult grind stuff to unlock techs that make it easier the next time.

I have heard that you can get to infinite mining nodes. I can't seem to find it in the tech tree but if it is there I will get to it.
@@surtrplays That is good to hear. I hope it is in there. Maybe it is going to be added later.

why so much cutting in your videos. it really doesn't look nice and it doesn't look very nice and chill either.
I like to cut out the boring bits.
@@surtrplays Something I greatly appreciate, if I want a full playthrough I watch a stream. I go to youtube for nice editing.
