I like how Inga was so happy like her successful scallion pancake flip @1:52 was such a win, but just casually does it again the next second.
Has anyone else noticed that Inga & Alvin’s videos have a similar feel to them? Aesthetic shots, low-if music, and ASMR-esque audio, sometimes with small bits of commentary from the creator. Its a great style & I love both their videos! I’m judging wondering if anyone else noticed this, or if I’m just new to the relaxing cooking videos scene! 😅
I double up on the scallion pancakes with egg in the middle, then drizzle kewpie mayo and okonomi sauce for a simpler okonomiyaki-style breakfast 😊
My mom used to make something similar, but instead of having a sauce, she would put brie in thee middle of the napa mille feuille so that it would be like a dip for the cabbage and pork!!! I would recommend
I also eat a lot of scallion pancakes but never tried it with egg. Thanks for the great idea! Yum 😋

I remember seeing the cabbage and pork dish for the first time when you made it in an ATE video! Been dying to try. Thanks for the comforting video as always, Inga :)
It's super good, and super simple to make, plus you can adapt the sauce in a variety of ways. And honestly, I've made it like, three or four times now, and aside from the first, I didn't even try to layer it nicely, just mixed the cabbage and pork in there relatively evenly. Last time, I even added some sliced daikon in, and it was amazing.
@@aaronsirkman8375 AGREED. i didnt even make a fancy sauce. i just used dashi broth and i think soy sauce
@@sharonyang8822 I think I've just used dashi powder, a little soy sauce, grated ginger, and maybe mirin.

Ohhh Napa mille feuille is a must in our house when the temps drop. I always add enoki mushrooms and wedge them in between the random spaces to add to the broth. SO good and so comforting. Also, thank you for making videos. Whenever you upload, I always make sure I set aside time to relax as they're always so relaxing to watch and listen to.
Yes, my family also adds enoki mushrooms to ours!! so delicious and easy to make!

Inga!!! I just made the napa mille feuille and it was bombbb, I was surprised how easy and quick it all came together! I went a little crazier with the sauce, added laoganma, soy sauce, sesame oil, kbbq marinade lol, but thanks for sharing, will definitely keep in my weeknight rotation :')
