MYTH BUSTING: Just pressure washer VS 2-Step Soaps. Which will win??

- We often get comments on videos about our Touchless 1 & 2 soaps from folks saying stuff like:
"If you ain't scrubbin it, it doesn't do any more than if you just rinsed it with a pressure washer."
or
"I could get the same amount of grime off my truck with just a pressure washer."
etc. etc. The list goes on.
SO. We took it upon ourselves to do some myth busting on camera. Check out the results for yourself. Everything shot in real time. No pieces were cut out from this clip. Only sped up, zoom in, or zoom out for dramatic effect.

Can this two step soap be used for detailing car and does has the building traffic remover?
Yes it can be used on cars. Unsure what you're trying to ask about building traffic remover. I'm assuming there's a typo in there.

Yes when it comes to any form of Touchless washing it always requires 2 steps. Step 1 is an acid that breaks the static bond that keeps the dirt and grime clinging to your surfaces. The second step neutralizes the acid and completes the chemical reaction required to make dirt easily removable (rinse with pressure washer). You will find some companies offering a 1 step Touchless wash but all it is is a high alkaline soap (AKA Step 2) and they do not work well. We did a side by side demo with one of these chemical providers to really see the difference.
Hey does touches dull or put white coating on chrome stacks or fuel tanks?
Our Touchless is safe on all surfaces. It should not dull or leave any coating from the chemicals behind assuming all instructions are followed and the product is not left to dry on the surface.
Do u have to use a hot water pressure washer or just the soap and a regular pressure washer
Hey Glen we actually recommend using water that is no hotter than 130 degrees. Using too hot of water will break down the chemical reducing it's cleaning power.
Does it matter if you use a cold h20 vs hot ...I sure hot h20 works better, but can you get away with cold water unit?
Cold Water units work great with our products!
What do you gotta do to get the film off without touching it? Degreaser?
Using various prep chemicals like Bug Remover and Degreaser are a great way to increase the end result after using a Touchless product. Another very effective way is to have some sort of protection on your vehicle at all times like our Wax Replacement. It puts a barrier between your surface and the dirt/grime making it more difficult for it to create a static bond (which is why it normally sticks to your vehicle).
Can you scrub the first step in the 2 chemical process to get a perfect end result?
You certainly can brush the 2-step soap to get 100% clean (we sometimes scrub the tops of stacks to get the soot off while 2-stepping). Otherwise if you wash your vehicles regularly and have some sort of protective coating on the surface you can achieve 100% clean Touchless results.
can this be used on cars? I do a lot of dealership vehicles and if like to not scrub them all.
Yes! Absolutely! That would be the perfect application for this product.

80 - 90% clean is the standard with any Touchless soap on the market. This is a maintenance wash you use in between your regular brush washing.

I can used end 2 steps low pressure
2 Step soaps will only work with high pressure. This is why we do not offer a bundle that includes options like Garden Hose Foam Cannons. It won't work without a pressure washer.
My company is looking for a neutral soap to wash trucks with out in Walker, which as you probably know are really picky about environmental pollutants. Do you have any soaps that would be compliant with Walker’s pickiness?
Our Platinum Wash is PH Neutral and Readily Biodegradable. It does require brushing but it will give your trucks a solid 100% clean shiny surface.

Even with a pressure washer you should use soap that was an unfair test
We did use soap, on the right side. This video is for the people who claim that using a pressure washer (with no soap) does the same thing as touchless soaps.

@Image Wash Products who in there right mind would think just pressure is good enough 😒
They are promoting their own product so using no soap on one side makes them look great, comparing to other 2 step soaps they don't look so great.

Yes, the reaction between the two soaps breaks the static bond that makes dirt stick to the surface. (Dirt and grime sticks to surfaces because of the electrical charge they hold. the soaps neutralize that static electricity)
