You should play around with using your tire shine in a foam sprayer. I use it on a lot of trucks with mud tires that have knobby shoulder lugs, which makes it very hard and time consuming to apply with an applicator. Foamed it on, and let it settle and then wiped off excess, and desired sheen. Saved myself about 45 minutes that way.
I am a pressure washer mechanic for a industrial pressure washer company. So this is my job/my life. You are totally washing in the correct manner. You always should be rinsing bottom up. You push the soap around more going bottom up than top down. Keep up your good work!
People whining about degreaser on tires are probably thinking that way due to experiences with degreasers/APCs used on interior plastics/trim/vinyl. In my opinion tires are built to withstand much worse, and if degreaser dries them out at all, you’re literally covering them in hydrating tire shine after….. as you said, “do you even drive on your tires bro” 😂😂
A lot of people say that it accelerates the rubber deterioration and actually makes the browning come back worse/faster. I honestly haven't looked into the science of it all that much but in my COMPLETELY anecdotal experience I haven't seen that to be the case. My thought is that the tire is going to wear out from ya know.... driving on it, way before it's going to wear out because someone used a degreaser on it. If you're really really concerned just make sure you stick to tire dressings that also hydrate and nourish the rubber or use a dedicated rubber conditioner occasionally.
I used to work for an asphalt company a couple years back. My job was wash bay so I bet you could guess how heavy the cleaning was. We used to just use acid on all the aluminum parts. We’d just spray it on, no scrubbing needed, would take any and every dirt, grime, spots etc. off. Worked like a charm and the aluminum looked beautiful right after.
Seeing the fleet that started the product. Tells me, I’m using the right stuff! Started using the touchless and the snake oil, this summer. Instantly, was extremely happy with how it left my truck. Just ran out last week, on the touchless.. now, looking to make another order with M-Shine.. if anyones looking for a great product, Chem X is it!!
While I love the detail factory tire brush, especially on low profile tires, for literally anything bigger than the average car tire I use a Great Value multi-purpose brush I found at Walmart for like $3. It's legitimately my all time favorite tire brush and it's basically the same thing as the detail factory tire brush only scaled up a bit. It's honestly perfect for tires especially on trucks.
I've got on a binge of watching your videos over the last few days lol. I really started taking an interest in detailing again (used to do it professionally in the early 2000's). I think washing from bottom to top back to bottom works great! I think it all goes to how dirty, the size, and what you want to accomplish as far as cleanliness all comes into play. I have an order in my cart and look forward to trying out your product! Awesome videos, glad to see an entrepreneur making it!
That truck looks amazing. I just got my S&S for my vehicles at home the other day and can't wait to try it. Now I just need to pick up the DLime 90 and Heavy Duty to try on our locomotive!
Shoutout from Wisconsin. Love the videos you make it so easy to follow easy to understand what your products do how they perform why I love using them ...
I love love love your channel soooo much..the chemicals, equipment, monster vehicles and the explanations about all the products..oh and the foamy goodness..perfect...
I so need to find those grommets for the bottles! I seen that in a previous video, wasn't sure if it was a new bottle or a mod to one! I hate undoing the bottle everytime I need a refil 🤣 Great video, great product! Im using stars and stripes all the time in my business.
Bobby! What's up BIG DOG?! a few things . That small brush would be FANSTASTIC on vehicle tires👍. The roof of this truck doesn't get taken care of like the rest of the Truck. As a Truck driver myself, 50% of the time people dont do more than wash n rinse the roof. Most dont dry it nor do they wax or protect it! That roof takes ABUSE like nothing else. That BIG FIREBALL in the sky, aka the sun🌞, is BRUTAL on any surface and especially so on Flat surfaces; cooking All day from all angles! Oh and the rinsing BOTTOM UP!🤬 I have had a little push back on that as well. One guy basically told me I was an Idiot and asked who taught me how to wash a vehicle🤦♂️.. IGNORANCE is BLISS 🤣.. great Video brutha. Lovin' Kona! Take care Bob! Oh, a guy on the Tube is claiming some of these High ph Low ph systems are HARD on paint and arent High quality.... everyone has something to say... especially when they are selling soaps too😉🤯. peace Bob❌...
The IK 12's work great with high pH products! The multi pro 12 sadly doesn't have a shrader valve like the foam pro 12. But you can easily convert the foam to a high output multi! With the orange tip, block off the air inlet (with some tape) and remove the cotton filter from the lance. Now it sprays out loads of product, bigger flow rate than the multi!
Don't lose any sleep over the guys saying your doing something wrong. They seem to be all knowing as long as they can tell you so in the comment section of you tube. Great job bro.
Maybe wrap the first two or three feet of the pole in a silicone wrap so if you tap it against things it won't be metal making the contact. But for sure using a brush to agitate with the cleaner looks like the better way to go.
A friend of mine Hass 2015 Pete he uses winks rust remover on his stacks for rust stains and def deposits. He has wiped his truck down with it then waxed it he cleans his windows then uses glass cleaner
"I might not know what I'm doing"🤣🤣🤣🤣 . Haters still hatin' on the bottom up washing technique. Lol! Keep doin' what you do,Bob. Pretty sure you know what's up. (Control panel on the lift needs M-shine)
Would love to see a complete inside and outside detail of a older Mack Granite like the 04-07 ones would love to see you go to work on one of those don’t know if u will see this or if we will ever get that truck but I pray we do man 🙏🏼 but another great video as always man 🔥
I see you took my advice and put a shreader valve in the IKs without them, oh wait no you didn't. Drill a hole in the neck with a letter R bit then tap with a 1/8 npt intsall shreader done! Don't even need tape plastic seals it. Just make sure you go between the webbing in the neck use a light to find it. I left one of my sprayers for a month still had air in it. Hope this comment helps anyone that reads it. WSNH.
That M-shine looks like an awesomse product, like the rest of your stuff! I've recently had some awesome experience with polishing aluminium by hand. It was just as oxidized as this frame rail, but just a pass or two by hand made it shine like crazy. I was using Optimum Metal Polish, but any polish would probably do? It would be awesome if an expert like you would look into it! I'd bet you'd find an even quicker and easier way to polish to a mirror shine.
I have some that I still need to try on my 2020 Kenworth W990 that is about 3 years old and has a ton of aluminum on it. Pretty much everything except the cab and frame rails are aluminum. The trucks wheels are the only thing that has been polished since I’ve had this truck. Curious to see what M-Shine can do for it. Just might get me some more of it.
I sprayed a lot of chemicals during my life. Get an electric motor driven pump sprayer. It will change your life, better than airing up. You can go forever. You can have change over value, for you huge tanks of cleaning products. Be easier to tell your usage amounts over a month. You could set it up like your pressure washer and the spray power would be variable as well. You have a constant pressure spray with the electrical motor as well. This keeps chemical output constant,as well.
Nice work my man, where can I purchase those particular chemicals you use they look like they work pretty good! I really love the whole set up with the cart and your shop👌🏾 top notch
I never dry the paint on my Pete lol i only dry the chrome thats where you can really tell the water spots, cant really notice water spots on the white paint

I use a cheap hvlp gun
Just use a spray bottle and a tire pad 😂 you guys make easy stuff so complicated sometimes
I’ve always washed bottom to top, as you say, it’s easier to see missed areas, love your videos, that’s one hell of a workshop 👌🏻👍🏻
I am a pressure washer mechanic for a industrial pressure washer company. So this is my job/my life. You are totally washing in the correct manner. You always should be rinsing bottom up. You push the soap around more going bottom up than top down. Keep up your good work!
You always wash top down. All that dirt just flows back over what you’ve cleaned. You’ll never get done. Doesn’t even make sense.

@@muchachogrande2019 browning is by design I believe. Protects the tire.
@@johnbaron3070 correct and also correct that most degreasers will dry out that browning effect that keeps your tires from dry rotting faster.

Did you down stream the acid and did you use it on paint? I know you shouldn't hit glass
@@truealpha7439I worked for a company that did downstream the acid
I love you’re actually honest
Nice truck, worked with Jeff many years ago at CT MULCH

Top notch garage setup for Heavy equipment vehicles . I’m blown away. Also Kona is an excellent German Shepard pup👍

Damn, that's looking absolutely awsesome in the sun! Stunning job!
I recommend using the 2 bucket method when using m-shine. 50/50 with 2 bucket method will go along way.
Well I’m a believer used it tonight on both my truck and car and can’t believe how it works will be ordering more

it does remove oils from the tires but only if you don't add protectant after
