in some of their set boxes, there's a little pamphlet with 50% adds for more products, and 50% picture tutorials and a qr code to a video version. its honestly awesome.
I know necrons are a great example for your metallics speed paint, but I was curious if you could show how it works on tubing and I think for that Admech models would do well as an example. I'd love to see you try and play with an blackened oily admech scheme maybe with a white for the cloth! Maybe the tubing could be a fringe benefit of getting to show off how your whites and blacks can couple with other base coat types?
Every time I watch your videos I learn something new. I feel like I have a better understanding now of how to use the paints I have on hand. Thank you!
Wow, What a difference. Wish I had know these techniques and had these paints when painting my Necrons. Will definitlely start using for my new SM Army.
THIS! This right here is what I was looking for with Army Painter Speed Paints (2.0 especially). Though I am going for a cleaner look that really helps learn about the rusting effects. (Now, if I get just get any of my local hobby shops to carry the individual 2.0 speed paints, I'll be set -- sigh).
I love that you guys do these videos! And I really love the alternative paint schemes and their recipes at the end of the video. Please consider doing similar videos for other 40K armies!
This is a great tutorial, the bit at the end with same techniques but different paints is really good. I get that it's extra work but it massively multiplies the value of the video.
Thank you for this awesome tutorial! ❤ I chose option 2 to paint my Necrons in a rusty/ rotten style and they look fantastic...like they had just risen from a flooded tomb and walk through swampy terrain...!
Would love to see a tutorial on how to paint Vior’la Tau, I’ve tried many different types of videos but still haven’t quite found that white armor look I’m looking for.
Awesome tutorial, I am wanting to get into speed paints. Please keep making these types of videos so I can understand how to effectively use speed paints!
great tutorial!! could you do obe for the nihelak dynasty as well?? or even better all the other major dynastys?? would love to see your scills on tackling the dynastys
Great looking guide, there also a nice way to show how your paints work and which ones to pick. I'd personally love to see which paints you'd recommend for 40k orks and also for Orruks :D
man, this looks so cool and looks very simple. If I would start my necrons I would go this way. I don't think if this would work on already painted and washed with basilicanum grey necrons
To those who don't have those flourescent colors: Shamrock Green with some Medium (maybe 2:1) on a bright white underground makes a fantastic looking glowing green effect! 😅
Fantastic tutorial 🎉 I would love to see some 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟 Since I have just about ALL zombicide boxes to date (except Invader), that needs to be painted 😮🙈😭🙏🏻
I have a question. Wouldn't using the metal spray primer be even faster than using the metallic speed paint? If so, does using the speed paint create a different effect? If so, what is it? I hope to hear back, love yalls stuff. So many options.
Just watched this for the fourth time, and it's still is great! Especially the glowing orbs! But I just realized that Thomas did not paint the overlords blade to be glowing, why is that? Does it not work with this technique? How would you do it? I feel it is just as important as the orbs. Edit: for spellling
When is the single pots of 2.0 available? The local store still has not got the rack let alone the single pots. On the website it looks like only 1.0 is available.
Thanks for this fantastic videos! I'm painting my necrons using only speedpaints, including the metallic range, and I absolutely love the results. However when I apply the matt varnish as recommended for speedpaints, all the metallic look is unfortunately gone, and I'm left with a fully matt miniature. Would you have any recommendations on how to get better results? Thanks!
Great tutorial. More of this kind of content, please.

Agreed, this was the perfect combination of detail and brevity.

That rust trick is probably one of my favorite tricks 👌
I absolutely LOVE the AP primers. They go on so evenly and the range of colors give such great contrast!
I would like to see a tutorial on moving from Speedpaints tabletop ready to award-winning display level of paint job ;).
Nice tips, even for people that aren't painting the models shown in the video.
I would be happy to see the Army Painter team tackle some rubric marines!
There's be nothing to tackle, upon impact it would just be a cloud of dust...

Looks fantastic Thomas! 😁

Amazing finished product especially for something so simple
Wow, What a difference. Wish I had know these techniques and had these paints when painting my Necrons. Will definitlely start using for my new SM Army.

Superb tutorial! Rusty necrons look so good.
All the recent videos have been 🔥 nice and easy to follow tutorial. Great alternate breakdown at the end too.
This is a great tutorial, the bit at the end with same techniques but different paints is really good. I get that it's extra work but it massively multiplies the value of the video.
That green looks great!
I need to get some necrons, they are the ultimate speed paintable miniatures lol
I was wondering earlier today if I could use P. Silver as a highlight for some current projects, many thanks for the unintentional confirmation!

Fast, easy, and still good looking!
Air paint tip is interesting must give it a shot

I chose option 2 to paint my Necrons in a rusty/ rotten style and they look fantastic...like they had just risen from a flooded tomb and walk through swampy terrain...!

Nice trick! Definitely going to steal it
Would love to see a tutorial on how to paint Vior’la Tau, I’ve tried many different types of videos but still haven’t quite found that white armor look I’m looking for.

Pretty cool
man, this looks so cool and looks very simple. If I would start my necrons I would go this way. I don't think if this would work on already painted and washed with basilicanum grey necrons
You would likely want to strip the paint off and start from a fresh basecoat if you wanted to try this technique on them.
To those who don't have those flourescent colors:
Shamrock Green with some Medium (maybe 2:1) on a bright white underground makes a fantastic looking glowing green effect! 😅
Shamrock Green is an excellent Speedpaint choice for that signature gauss glow as well :)
Now THIS is how you sell your paints!
Great Tutorioal!
Great video!
Hi guys great tutorial
Necron Supremacy!
How did you know I was just about to paint some necrons?! 🤔
This video help me paint my space marines:it's about to get nuts.

How is TAP not at 100K subscribers? Fricken injustice, man.
Awesome
I literally just asked for this and BOOM! Thanks!!
Personally I use Speedpaint Nuclear Sunrise for rust effects.
Super nice
I loved this, the rust effect looked amazing. could you maybe take a stab at the wizkids chromatic dragons at some point?
Cant wait till I can grab the new 2.0
I have a question. Wouldn't using the metal spray primer be even faster than using the metallic speed paint? If so, does using the speed paint create a different effect? If so, what is it? I hope to hear back, love yalls stuff. So many options.

Edit: for spellling
I may just have to start a necron kill team to try out some of these paint schemes lol
Quality content!
It’s about to get NUTS!
Great vids Guys, keep it goning :D

Hi! Love the speedpaint range! Can I varnish my speedpainted minis with army painters matte Varnish?
Yes :)
Great tutorial guys. I'm actually about to finish my marketing intership can I come and work on some amazing content with you? Haha
I have a weird question:
Are y'all gonna release another version of the blood technical paint?
Just got too work with mine and some dip as I’m working metal miniatures.
Thanks!
If you want a slightly shinier look you can try the Aegis Suit Satin Varnish. It'll be slightly shiny, but not overly glossy.
I was worried it could reactivate the speedpaints if it's water based, but if it's safe to use I'm definitely buying it. Thanks for the reply!
Thanks à lot !
