    I love how simple and good-looking this is. It's literally just tying a bunch of basic knots around a handle, but it works so well!

    Very well done how to and I say thank you for taking the time and putting the energy and thought into teaching those of us who are not well versed in making paracord knots. Who gives a greasy turkey IF "the second "small loop" has nothing to do with anything." To those who complain about your method of teaching, all I can say is, I don't see any how to videos from them...So thank you again for caring enough to teach a new skill to those who genuinely want to learn and grow with.

      Thats awesome...how extensive is a project like that? Can you forge a knife in your garage?

    • @elias3584
      @elias3584 Місяць тому

      @@selfwilliam8708I know it's been 6 months, but as someone who has started a garage forge this summer, it's actually pretty achievable!
      If you want to start out with the least cost possible you can literally start with some bricks on the floor, regular wood for heating and a haidryer to get airflow and for the iron to get red hot. Then to forge you need a hammer, and something to use as anvil. It can be a piece of railroad, a metal beam, or even just a bigger hammerhead. Then you can quench using just water or used oil depending on the steel and give the knife shape with an angle grinder. There's videos which explain all of this in depth, but if you need help and still are interested, I'll be glad to answer any questions

    I really irritated my brother today and it caused him to have a bit of a breakdown. First I burst through his door and kept yelling "GIVE ME A HUG!" in a weird voice. Afterwards I decided to fix up a machete of his. The cord was a complete mess and the blade was extremely rusted. I got most of the rust off but I didn't know how to fix the cord. This video helped me a lot. Thank you very much! This really helped! Thank you.

    A suggestion - Use a heat gun and melt "Sno-Seal" into the paracord and it becomes waterproof and grippy.

    Used your method to put a nice cord hilt wrap on my Cold Steel practice sword, for years it's bothered me that the hilt was just a little bit skinny for my hands. Not any more! And the cord gives a better texture than the polycarbonate. Thanks!

    • @helheimforge
      @helheimforge Рік тому +1

      @@Ingca1234 it boils down to 2 things, shape of the handle & cheapness. If the handle is odd shaped and intricate with alot of tight spaces then Paracord wrap might be the option. Also if you have no handle material they sell Paracord at any hardware store for cheap.

    Why is everybody so critical? Even if one unnecessary step is shown, it's still very easy to follow, the video is only five minutes long, and you get the idea from the very beginning. Does every idea need to be presented in a perfected fashion? Anyway, the second small loop just makes it easier to pull the remaining cord through. It's just a little convenience trick, super helpful when using very long pieces of cord.

    • @Bighorn1478
      @Bighorn1478 3 роки тому

      The way he makes the second loop and pulls it through is how you keep the cord from getting twisted up. If you just stick the end through and pull it will get twisted.
