Thanx for vid. Been trying to remember how to start the last wrap you did. Glad you gave differnt options, that did not include holes in knife blade. I'm wrapping a saw w/a homemade hickory handle, and there are no holes to pass cord through. We'll see how it turns out. Thanx again.
Just like Nick mentioned you needed to use a brighter color specifically eing I'm visually impaired and black on black is very hard to see in a videobut you showed some very good wraps just made it hard to see with dark color cord
@@dejayblair7571what dude is saying is he should use brighter cord so that it is easier for people to see what he is doing lol he's not trying to tell him what color he should use just to do so 🤦🏼♂️
Yes; constructive criticism is a gift...and is intended to help progression to perfection - especially with such a great video already; not much to improve upon... Except using a different colored cord in comparison to the item, would benefit those of us who are learning; especially us 'challenged' & 'visual learners'. 🧵🗡🧶 Overall great job & very much appreciated - please keep up your knowledge-sharing...many of us 'Jedi's' are looking forward to learning more from you 'Obi-Wan' 🪢🤓🧬
Nice, simple and well done. From a visual point of view, better use a paracord which contrasts with the handle and the background, just for pedagogical reasons. Could be green camo or navy teal vs black, does not need to be a fluo pink nor yellow. If you cut and burn the ends of the rope when it is done, you can hardly undo everything to use the rope separately in case of need and put it back on the handle, so maybe finish the work with an appropriate ending knot.
Thank very much. I'm going to be doing this to my matchete, the handle that came with it came off, so I'm going to wrap the tang. I'm thinking I will do the second way you showed us. Then go over it with the first way. To make it more shock absorbing and more comfortable. Thank you again and God bless.
In terms of paracord length, I think the third metod is the best, because you place one end on the knife, wrap it, and you can find out how much paracord you need at the end and cut it there, rather than guessing beforehand.
Good video my brewski. Just a few tips. You might want knot the ends burn the excess and tuck in the excess in the under the lines, let the knots hold the resistance
there it is necessary to have a loop with a smaller diameter, put it separately, wind it up and then push the end through it and when pulling it out there at the end, drive it under the unwinding, and pull out the loop itself less.
Thanks for this info. It would have easier to follow if you had your hands at the bottom of the screen (so left is left and right is right), but then I've always been a slow learner when it comes to tying nots lol.
Redo video using a bright color paracord for contrast to better visual . Dark tang with dark rope washes out the clarity on camera necessary to see what your doing. Otherwise helpful
Hi wish you well with the channel I was really looking forward to this but I couldn't see anything as the paracord was black on black maybe try grey or off white when doing how too videos.good luck man gave ya a like and sub.
Hey, nice video, but it would be better if you showed the process from your perspective - from the camera's perspective, left and right are reversed. Also, can you give a few examples on how and what for to use paracord? I've never really been in a situation where I wished I had some paracord, or at least I didn't figure out I could solve the problem with paracord. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next video, thanks!
I can add another method to the list if it's a thing to have run out of cord one can splice it in and there's a few ways as well to do it with out taking it all apart if that should happen because it unforseen when you think you got it you come short oh of course there are other ways to figure out exact lengths but nobody is wanting to do math at this point
Agree with others...Lighter cord from your angle, and just so you know....the last wrap was hard to follow....You went out of camera view many times. But thanx for the video. 🙂
Thanks for the guidance, Badass Junior. I really appreciate the hard work and letting us (the uninitiated) in on some basics of the art.

Absolutely, will def use a brighter cord if I do another one of these knife wrapping videos. Thanks for watching!
This video was for instruction not what he was actually going to use. It’s his knife not yours….
@TigTk421, he’s just showing how to wrap and not what he’s using. I got the point but comments are taken out of context some times.

Sounds like a plan! Best of luck and glad u liked the video:)
I tried your #3 and worked well.
Thanks.
Thank you! Very interesting! How to make a handle in three different ways! If only it could be seen! It would be great!
First time watching your channel.
Thanks for the video
good presentation. good safety precautions.

Simple and to the point. Thanks man
Thanks for the instruction and tips!👊🏼👊🏼

How would you start the first method if you don't have a hole in your tang?
You may want to us contrasting colours for the knife and parachord...
Well done sir!
Thanks! Glad you liked it😁
Thanks dude. I’m getting ready for a backpacking trip and the cord grip came off. This was super helpful!!!
Glad I could help out. Have fun on your trip!🙂
Great video good job 👍
thanks for showing us those different ways to add a paracord handle. Definitely going to try a few on a few of my knives!! Much appreciated!!
Muito bom, o 2# é o meu favorito
Black table next time, maybe some blck gloves? ❤

hi, thanx for the video. Next time could you use a lighter colored rope so to see the braiding you are doing better?... better contrast.

Great suggestion, I’ll keep that in mind if I do another one of these types of videos. Thanks!
@@KnifeManual hope u will soon... i'm a beginner.
Black cord on black handle is very difficult to see, especially with the sketchy camera focus.
Thanks man.

This need a part 2 just sayin
thanks
It would be easier to see if the table was black as well. 😂 I'm kidding! Thanks a bunch for the content.
I'd like to keep it as lightweight as possible, using as little paracord as possible.
What would be the best wrapping technique for that?
Thanks!
We have the same knife
Nice

i can’t see any of it.
which app are you using for editing
Hitfilm Express. It's not the greatest, but it's free and does the job;)

good but more light - black cord and a black handle
Where get ur knife?
Why not make a sheath for that knife
Use a brighter color that’s easier for the viewer to see what you’re doing. Black paracord on a black handle was not a great choice for a tutorial.

Isn’t that a snake knot?
you are using black para cord on a black handle and it makes you presentation invisible
