The balance sounded nice at all volumes. I was more than happy to listen to the earbuds at 25% volume. Low quality earbuds typically lack details and require more volume to hear them, so listening to these at a low volume is a compliment. Well done!

Great deal since I got the Galaxy Buds2 Pro on sale for $90 a week ago, Samsung basically now paying me $10 to return them 😅
My total was 80$ for them since I'm trading in buds pro 1
Doesn't work the link form me..
Got mine for 68.00
@@user-kx7iz6qk6b did you trade in?
I will miss the stemless design. It was more comfortable in my opinion
I wonder why they switched
It hurt my ears so bad. Stem design is much more comfortable imo.
@MikeOBrienMedia probably for mass appeal and better microphones, which in turn comes with better ANC and transparency mode. It's alr imo, but ANC is never going to be high-end on earbuds. I have my XM5s for that.
Damn it Samsung, the Buds FE was going in that great direction of better design. This looked like a silly mix of the Nothing buds (clear case) and AirPods.
Buds2 Pro have been perfect, so I'm curious how the 3 Pros will compare. I already ordered them and traded in my super uncomfortable 1st gen Buds Pro
Looks like something lenovo would design and then sell for 20$ on AliExpress
I liked the design though, it really wasn't ugly or anything. It looks well polished compared to things on AliExpress or temu because of its build quality
7:13 that was jarring 😂. U went from all praise to
Honestly I feel buds 2 pro are the best in all area I don't wanna upgrade to this ugly looking buds 😢
@@Redbullrb17you don't have to
@@onapersonalnote7045 they removed them from the samsung store for me 😭
@@Redbullrb17 Same.
There are three advantages.. there's 9 band custom eq so you can tune these buds to your liking within the app.. There's also Super Wideband Bluetooth mode which makes calls sound alot clearer and also transparency mode will be much more natural because microphones will record in 16khz thanks to Super Wideband Bluetooth feature..
Excited for the 3Pro, 2Pro, and pro comparison video!
Got mine today, they are better than their predecessors in any way. Even better sound, better anc, way better touch controls, more comfortable with a more secure fit and the adaptive mode is also really useful. The LED light is also really cool.
I love them.
hey man, i've been thinking of getting these too. just wanna ask how's the microphone performance?
Thank you for the honest criticism of the Buds 3 Pro. Too many channels are afraid to ruin their relationship with Samsung.
I had the original Galaxy Buds Pro. Finally time for an upgrade.
Thanks for the well balanced and informative review. I think I might get it since the issues advised are all prevalent in my Gen 1 buds pro.
Like wise. I had it for some time and was waiting for a proper upgrade.
Yup in same boat . I hope they fix the wind feedback
Had the original buds pro as well. Unfortunately, I was one of the many who would get a nasty ear infection due to an allergic reaction with something in their plastic and/or exposed nickel. There was a whole class action lawsuit about it if you want to learn more.
With the Buds 3 Pro the charging is at the bottom so it shouldn't contact the skin.
And how is it compared?
@@ThePrivateGamer19 not sure, I haven't received it yet. The order says it will be delivered on Monday, but let's see.
3:51 I love old design fit perfectly, feel like wearing nothing 😢
Same! Bad design choice for this
@@emanuelcarmona9930it's not for a lot of ppl. Personally like stem earphones better
Honestly I feel buds 2 pro are the best in all area I don't wanna upgrade to this ugly looking buds 😢
@@Redbullrb17 They are not the best.
Oh yeah definitely like the old design will not be updating this time around sorry Samsung don't copy Apple and it's a lot easier to get my money
I like the vertical case design like this. It makes sense if you take it out of your pocket
Aren't all previous cases technically vertical? I don't put the last buds case horizontally in my pocket.
@@APerls it's about the orientation of the opening of the case. This new one is like Airpods and Pixel Buds where they open from the shorter side of the device instead of Samsung's usual one where it opens from the longer side which is uncomfortable to do with one hand but makes sense if its just sitting on a surface like a desk
Mike flashing by during the “auto play & auto pause” made me yelp😂
Honestly I feel buds 2 pro are the best in all area I don't wanna upgrade to this ugly looking buds 😢
@@Redbullrb17 agreed
People who are comparing these to AirPods need to look back at the timeline and see all the times that Apple took ideas from Samsung. Like the notification bars and task bars, face scanning technology (Note 3 had it) fingerprint scanners, reverse wireless charging, widgets, camera screen cut out design, realtime language translation design, hardware and software gesture features, and soon the folding tech. That is just a few to name off the top of my head. I have been waiting for Samsung to apply lighting on their hardware for a while now so I am hoping that the lights make it to their phone hardware soon too! Pre-Ordered mine. And "BLADES" sounds so much cooler than "stems". Going to name mine "Katanas". Can't wait!
None of those are Samsung exclusive or even invented by Samsung. These are literally AirPod clones
@gsrathore805 No, but they were the first ones to integrate them into their phoens, and Apple followed in their footsteps. So you can thank Android/Samsung for those innovations and Samsung for the iPhone screens they make. I think it's hilarious how die hard Apple users are and then blatantly credit Apple for "innovations" that Samsung had in their phones 5 years prior. It happens almost every year, and the fact that you refuse to see that I suggest you do your research and get out of the Apple hive mind/mindset for once. I did years ago.
Samsung actually makes the screens of Apple iPhone.
@@dolapoade8616 Yes
A simple software that looks like something else isn’t copying. This is obv a direct copy. Also half the stuff you said Samsung didn’t invent either. Not like every smartphone brand didn’t copy apples whole entire idea of having a smartphone with a capacitive touchscreen. Also apple had actual Face ID first
How is the ambient sound and passthrough? I found the buds2 pro to be slightly lacking, do these do a better job with pass through?
Since buds pro the sound is so premium and amazing literally, price for quality
Hi, I really want to buy these, but I have a question: Do the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have a feature to track them while they are in the case, similar to the Find My feature on AirPods, or do they only show where they were last connected?
I think it looks more premium than the airpods pro. maybe bcoz of the sharp and futuristic blade like stem. I am gonna get the grey color. And going to get the Galaxy Ring as well.
These buds reviews are so good.
Buds Pro 2 already have the conversation mode.
How do I turn it on? I have the buds pro 2
@@cmoody1906 it's called voice detect. It's probably not as advanced as the Buds 3 will be but basically if you turn it on then the volume will lowered and ambient sound will be turned on when you start talking. Watch out for singing whilst having it turned on though 😂. I've actually turned mine off as I kept triggering it.
I could’ve sworn my first gen Buds Plus had conversation mode…or do I have false memory?
@@Fozzee.1970 oh yes I'm aware of that, I thought you were talking about the live translator mode they added..
Well the catch on the conversation mode or voice detect mode is that, if you have turned it on and you start talking, the longest duration the voice detect mode is acutally active is 15 seconds. It really is not good in my opinion. Just for example, if you try to hold a normal conversation while wearing the buds 2 pro and activate the voice detect mode, after 15 seconds it automatically turns itself off, meanwhile you're speaking for example, which is not what you would expect from a voice detect feature. I mean 15 seconds literaly is enough to listen to a short question and answer with yes or no 😂
Now i have to decide if im gonna upgrade from buds2 pro or not.
I like the buds2pro for comfort, can wear while sleeping .
I am very excited for these. I have tragus and daith piercings in both ears and my Pro2 buds hurt after only wearing them for a short time. Old school iPod ear buds worked so much better for me so I can't wait for these!
@MikeOBrienMedia Would you choose Buds3 Pro over Sony WF-1000XM5? What are your initial thoughts?
Will the XM6 come out this year?
I'll be getting these simply because sony messed up my xm4s battery with an update. Then they borderline bricked my TV with an update, darn thing freezes up, and many online are also having this issue. Will be steering clear of sony in the future
Great video! Is there a difference between voice detect on these versus the Buds2 Pro? Like is it more advanced on these? Thanks.
The big problem of galaxy buds series is too low microphone while connected to Windows devices.
I used galaxy buds from Buds Live, buds pro and buds 2 pro. All of them had the same problem and I had to use an external microphone for the meeting. I tried other bluetooth ear buds from Sony and did not face that issue.
Is this issue fixed on this buds 3 pro?
I would like to know this as well. The mic on Windows in just horrible for the Pro2
Wonder how they would feel working out with them on
Wonder if they'll be as secure as the Pro2's. I have two sets at work. I'm an auto technician so sometimes I work upside down or in really weird spaces. My biggest problems with conversation mode is that it doesn't hold the mode while someone is talking to me, I have to speak every 15 seconds (the way I have it set up), but it will also enter conversation mode if I grunt or groan trying to reach a spot or something
Absolutely love the change to the stem. That was the only reason I didn't get the previous ogre ear generation. I hate the look of a marble in my ear. Will definitely be preordering these
7:51 I was waiting (for 2-3 weeks) for them to come out and tested by you, and now I am really disappointed... The ANC is terrible vs Apple Airpods 2 Pro. I don't care about sound quality at all, I am not listening music while I walk or if I training. The only thing that matters to me is the ANC. I want to be heard like I am home alone without any sounds around me when I am talking in the phone, even if I am in a busy road or at the beach... If I had an Iphone I would go for the Airpods 2 Pro but I own Samsung phones the last 15 years and I don't want to switch any time soon... Any other recommendations or should I go for the Airpods 2 Pro and loose some extra features while I use them with my Samsung phone? Thanks !
What you said literally doesn't make sense lmmfao
Love the new look❤
I really like the voice command thing. Always wanted that
I paid $100 (plus tax) for these yesterday, using a $100 AirPods trade-in and the $50 "reserve" (pre-order) discount.
Samsung DOES NOT SAY which model of AirPods you can trade in, so you should be able to buy cheap AirPods 1 on eBay and get a $100 trade-in credit for them :) I could be wrong, but I was not able to find any info to the contrary.
Meh, for that just trade in your old galaxy buds rather than pay $20 bucks or whatever for the same price trade in or 25 bucks less. Depending on which most are upgrading from. Now if you have no trade in, than I guess 🤷🏻♀️
Such a clean and effective video
Is the audio quality much better than the buds 2 pro? I use the 2 pro all the time for music so it would be amazing if the difference was noticeable
I have both, B3P sounds darker and the vocals isn't as energetic as B2P. Personally, i like the sound of B3P since i can crank up the volume without them piercing my ears, which on some tracks i would get from B2P. My only nitpick about the newer model is that i can't lie down sideway on bed like i do with B2P, anything else is a win, comfort, touch functionality etc.
How do they sound compared to the APP2’s? I loved the brighter sound of the Samsung pro 2’s so hoping they can get a similar style of sound
I might wait to see if they fix the buzzing issue! it could also be a hardware issue with your device
Could you do a side by side comparison on this vs. the Sony WF1000XM5 and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro? Specially around ANC 😋
Man, I remember the buds pro came out and was having the same exact problem with the ANC. Buds2 pro fixed the problem thankfully. Sad to hear it's back on the Buds3 Pro.
It was fixed via software on the buds pro 1 after 04 months of the release.
Still have mine, sounding pretty good even after 03 years of the release...
Samsung look like theyre always having this buzzing problem, when I'm playing quiet audio with my Buds+, i can easily hear buzzing in the back. I'm trying to find earbuds that work with Android & don't do that. It's a spec called the "Noise Floor" on earbuds that is barely listed
Honestly I feel buds 2 pro are the best in all area I don't wanna upgrade to this ugly looking buds 😢
@@Nazara50000even the bose qc ultra has that noise.. many users facing it up till mow
Were you using these with a Samsung phone? When I am connected to a call on my S24 Ultra, I can select background noise removal profiles for the mic on the phone itself.
I prefer the bean design... It was iconic.
Im still waiting for buds live update
@@shannekirbystamaria6135well the buds live update appears to be the buds 3, regular version. They're definitely not going back to the bean design.
I love the bean design fits perfect on my ear.
I hate having a big bean inside my ear, it is discomfortable.. I always liked Airpods Pro, have been waiting for Samsung version of such earpods and finally they're here
Flick your own bean.
Buzzing/static sound is common issue with multiple galaxy buds models. I bought Buds Fe from Walmart I guess after a week volume level on one of the bud dropped to about 40% max after returning them I got same Buds Fe pair from Costco, that pair had the same static/buzzing noise in ANC mode as mentioned in the video, that was very annoying. After returning I bought another Buds Fe pair from Costco. Its been about 7-8 months now so far this pair is working okay no audio issues or static noise. The reason I bought them again and again was because I love how they fit in my ear. Before them I had Buds pro which I got for free with my S21 Ultra, due to their fitting they were not really usable at all. Then I bought Airpods pro, after loosing them I bought Buds Fe I am very happy with current Buds Fe. I wish the new buds 3 Pro had curve at the top instead of sharp edge. Sharp Edge makes them look too much out of ears and I was waiting for Samsung to launch buds 3 bro with inbuilt Galaxy Smart track+ in the charging case, similar to Airpods pro 2 case with inbuilt Airtag.
Hey I have couple of doubts.
1. Is it good for gaming. What's its latency?
2. Does all the Features available for NON - SAMSUNG Users.
3. Do you recommend buying a this buds for NON - SAMSUNG Users?. If yes why?
How good is the ambient sound in the Buds 3 Pro when compared to the other two Pro models ?
For me, the best ambient sound was in the Buds Pro original while the ambient sound was horrible on the Buds 2 Pro. I had to remove the Buds 2 Pro and pause the music every time when I needed to talk to people. The originais Buds did not have the best canceling noise system, but the ambient sound rocked out doors !
Hopefully the Buds 3 Pro has a gig l good ambient sound, it is the most important thing besides sound quality. If we wanted a perfect noise cancelation we would use headphones.
Is the ANC anywhere close to the airpods 2 pro? Those are insaaane and I want to know if these have caught up. Also passthrough is like you're not wearing them.
The microphones are clearly still bad
Can you sync the blade light with the music?
The question is whether they will stay secure in my ears while working out. They look like they would fall out.
Thanks Mike!!!
The only thing i wanted to change about the previous buds design was a thinner case for the pocket other than that it was perfect.
how is the comfort level? i have the galaxy buds pro and they feel like its squished into my ear and feels uncomfortable. is the buds 3 pro fit in the ear comfortably and and does it feel like it sits inside your ear instead of being squished into you ear?
I really like the buds live. I'm on my 4th pair. I would love a live 2
I would prefer if they had ear hooks like bitfit pro. Buds Pro2 were holding on well, but I still lost one into the canalization sink :)
I have airpods pro but i keep going back to my old samsung buds 2. The small stemless design is what works best for me. Stems always work their way out of my ear for some reason, and I also sometimes sleep with my buds on. Wish they made an updated bud without stems.
there is the buds 3 base variant
I own the AirPods Pro and the Galaxy Pro Buds2 and like them both. Galaxy Buds were great cuz they had the in ear design and in black were very low key to wear. Galaxy Buds could also be worn when laying down without fear of getting stuck in your ears. Disappointing they copied Apple
@nj__01 the buds 3 base also have the stem design. Honestly for a stemless design, Buds 2 series are still solid contenders
I think this is the only channel that has link to fat discount. I bought from him link best deal
7:25 I swear that happens with all of them. I use the buds pro, they do it alot when in the same mode. It's a common issue
Same, it happens to me pretty frequently with my buds pro 2
Is it comfortable enough when you use it sideways when sleeping?
Thank you for your review. How do these compare to the Sony WF-1000MX5? I cannot choose, I value sound quality, comfort and ANC the most.
Have they finally added a way to detect the case when you can't find it? That's the biggest issue I have with my galaxy buds2 pro
Edit: thanks for covering this issue
Hello, is Apple AirPods better or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro better for talking in a crowded place????
Thank God! The stem/blade form factor is infinitely more ergonomic, user friendly, and comfortable, to each their own but looking forward to getting my hands on a set of the pros.
I have the option to get the normal version for 30€ or the pro for 110€. Would you recommend them?
Will some of the features on the buds 3 pro come to buds 2 pro? Ai?
I have the galaxy buds live, should I upgrade?
What about finding the earbuds when they are in the case? The Buds 2 Pro weren't able to find when they were in the case.
Did they changed that?
You need to make a pro vs 2 pro vs 3 pro comparison. I need to know the differences in every way between every generation of galaxy buds pro.
I had the same buzzing issue in a quiet place. When I put them in, especially with just 1 in, it does make some weird noises for a bit.
I have a Buds pro 1 and does the same, but just on the left one. All this time I thought it was a frabric defect, cuz on the rigth one that doesnt happen.
ANC dead air noise! Count me out. It can never be unheard. That's tragic. Thanks OB.
how is the sound quality compared to the first Galaxy Buds Pro's ?
8:57 galaxy buds do have a pretty big wind problem compared to airpods. My buds 2 pros are horrible in the wind with transparency mode on
Pre ordered the pro for 192 from Samsung cant wait to try it
Thank you for this video.
Make a comparison video of Buds 2 pro with Buds 3 . Which one might perform better we wanna see.
The silver ones look so clean!
Does the case support wireless charging? That's a big deal if they removed it.
Ok, so the charging case does nit have a built in speaker, so you cant make it sound off if you lose it.
Have you had a chance to test if they give off any sound to the people around you when you are listening to music? I've been using Jabra Elite 75T for a long time, and bought the Buds 2 Pro to find out that it was a huge mistake. The sound quality on the Buds 2 Pro is great, but other people can hear what I am listening to, and its a huge disappointment for me since I use them in the office, and I get told to lower some volume constantly. So I switched back to the Jabras, which still have competing sound quality even in 2024, and they give off no sound at all to other people around me.
This is an amazing review.
I think I'll be returning my Nothing Ears with these, but one of my favorite features about stem like designs is the tactility pinches. It's fantastic for people who my not have as responsive fingertips. I boulder a lot, so having the ability to pinch versus touch is such a huge plus.
I'm finally getting Galaxy buds.
those wing tips always seam great... but where am i supposed to put them when im not using my headphones?! lol
Love the light strip.
I have a buds 2 pro. Is it worth upgrading to this????
two questions, what's the battery life like, for example can it last a flight from JFK to LAX without a charge? the voice detection system, I tend to hum when listening to music, the GBP2 would detect my humming and activate "chat mode" (I turned the option off) will the GBP3 have the same issue?
What does everyone think about the new codec in the Buds Pro? Compared to the Buds 2 Pro.
1:35 finally! A techtuber who knows how to properly use stem control!
It's frustrating to see so many big techtuber using stem volume control with their index finger and then cried about how uncomfortable it was😂
Wdym?
i second that 😊
@@RM-86 one of them is the one that famous for his rickroll meme. He awkwardly uses only index finger for stem control and then complain about how uncomfortable it is.
Stem control supposed to be operated by thumb and index finger simultaneously. Thumb to "control" and index finger to "stabilize". It's common sense, but apparently not for some people. They still treat it as if it's a touch control on a stemless design buds.
Hah I know @@enesjei. I saw some UA-camr just pushing the stem with one finger and of course the buds come out then he shits on the buds smh
Design Good Or Bad ?
Do the buds disconnect from the watch while on runs? Big issue for a while no reviwers talk about it.
my big question is how comfortable are they to sleep in because thats what i use mine for most of the time
I sleep with my buds in and swap left and right ear with the same bud. How does the left bud fit into the right ear?
I still love my buds pro 1 and still using it because it sounds excellent maybe due to AKG sounding. Does this buds pro 3 also AKG sounding?
Is the highest bitrate exclusive to Samsung devices? -Pixel and iPhone user
They probably color coated them because they have the buds going into the case reverse. You have to rotate them to put them in the ear out of the case.
How do they compare to the WF-1000XM5's?
I cant find the LEDs and the blade design on the apple Buds. I think they are not a single bit a apple copy..

Why is no one talking about the battery life.. isnt that important? How fast fo they charge? How long do they stay charged? How many charges can you get from the case alone?
Other than the radical design change in the slightly improved feature what is different between the two and the three, I think I'll be sticking with my Pro Tools for a while until they show me a real difference
