I've used the airpods pro for video calls and conferences because of their microphones, after watching this video I couldn't believe how good the mic quality of the new buds is, I'm sold.
Clear top on the case is kind of smart design in that you can instantly see if you forgot to put them in the charging case before you wash your jeans forgetting that the buds are still in your jeans pockets. Ask me how I thought of this 😅.... SONY XM4 build quality FTW. I have so many buds... I still ordered these.
Wow. I was very hesitant on thinking of moving on from my galaxy buds 2 pro but this video has made it clear. I don't like the design of the buds 3 pro but that mic quality upgrade sold me on it. I will be upgrading.
Great comparison. We all know it's not really a choice between Air Pod Pros and Buds3 Pro, but should I upgrade my Buds2 Pro. If you are a Samsung user the answer for me is absolutely! The stem appears to solve the biggest weakness of Buds2 Pro...the mics were not great. So yup, they look like Air Pods now but if that's what makes it a better product, I'm in, because I couldn't stand using Air Pods on my Samsung Phone.
Using airpods on my xiaomi phone is a nightmare, no battery status, can't check which mode am I in like anc of transparency and more. feature-less airpods pro are really not worth the price, on my old iphone it's ok, but it's not like I can share 1 sim card on two phones.
I'm on Buds 2 right now and my only real complaint is the mics. I often have to turn off the Bluetooth when I receive a call because the other person can't hear me clearly. The new mic might motivate me to make the purchase
I'm on the Buds 2 pro and my biggest complaint is the touch controls. If I put in my ear Buds and start working on a car, inevitably my shoulder will come up and touch my ear while I am yanking on a wrench, and pause my music. Super annoying, and it happens constantly when wearing the ear Buds and doing any kind of work that has you turning your head and lifing your arms a lot. Got a sweet pre-order deal on the Buds 3 pro for $100. I'm hoping the pinch control feature is more consistent and harder to accidentally activate. If that ends up being the case, I'll be very happy.
Real facts here - if call quality is important to you - check out the Soundcore Liberty 4 (not the NC) and see what you think of the mic quality. I own the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and the Liberty 4 and have done tons of nerd testing on them. The Liberty 4 are shocking how good they are. People often tell me they thought I was sitting in a quiet room at home talking to them when I'm actually out driving in my car!

Agreed. Every company copies each other Apple's new iOS coming in September is literally identical to Android every feature they announce has been on Android for 10 years..... I'm so happy they have a stem now. The buds pro 2 always fall out of my ear for the last year. The buds pro 2 had the best sound I've ever heard, even better than the bose ultra 2 and aipods pro2. So as long as the sound is better than the pro 2, I'm good.
I actually like the design. I wasn't sure at first but the more I look at them the more I like them. Feature wise they seem super solid. It's a clever way to lock you into the samsung ecosystem though. I prefer a stem tbh so I'm happy they switched it up. Note: the 360 audio/microphone feature you mentioned, is not the one you're actually talking about, the 360 Audio mic recording for videos is in the Camera app. In my opinion the Buds3 Pro sounded otherworldly in the mic test, 2nd place Buds2 Pro and last the airpods. That combined with the new call ''ultra wide speed'' feature really makes the Buds3 Pro an mic beast

Honestly great video man, informative and concise yet you still kept a good vibe! And btw would you recommend using the GB3 Pro with an iPhone? I like them but I feel that compatibility might be an issue.

You probably already tried this but clean the contact points (pins) with alcohol wipes on both the case and the actual AirPods. The Galaxy Buds will work on iPhone, but if you want to enter advanced adjustment for fine-tuning, you will have to connect them to a Windows computer or android phone. Most people aren't going to mess with these options other than EQ, but it is still nice to access. Once you customize them, thy settings will save on the earbuds even when connecting back to iPhone. You can still cycle through modes when connected to your iPhone by the touch features on the earbuds, but advanced features like EQ, touch settings, 360 audio etc. is a no-go. Super annoying, but this is how it is for android users that use AirPods. These companies are lame, and their products should remain fully customizable. Proprietary nonsense and communication between other products should be the standard. They should be putting customer satisfaction above profit. Apple is terrible when it comes to customizing their products in general, though. Their optimization and UI is second to none, but that isn't enough to convince me to lock myself in a box when using their products.
As someone who is constantly on the phone the mic sounds phenomenal. Waiting to hear some more examples, but this is very promising. Thanks for the review!
I love the stem design. I have always used buds with this design. Started with Huawei buds then one plus buds and now Samsung buds. These sound great, feel great too.
Unfortunately the regular mic sound was not shown, only the additional 360 function of the Buds Pro 3. So the comparison with the AirPods Pro 2 lacks a bit - this test a was waiting for… But good review overall
The best feature is the led on the earbuds, why aren't these reviewers talk about it!?! Having these in your ear and having the led blinks on and off while you're listening to songs is awesome
I'm so glad they got rid of the touch buttons on these. That was the bain of my existence. I've constantly dealt with accidental button presses where I either raise/lower volume, skip songs or move chapters in audiobooks and worst of all i have even hung up on ppl by accident. All you need is your hair to touch it just right, or your shirt or arm or your finger slip while trying to adjust them in ear and you'll be dealing with a stupid accident like that. Definitely looking forward to these when they arrive.
Buds+ was the best design of any wireless buds IMO because the wings would lock them into my ears and secure them very well, sealing out noise, etc.... Had they continued that dsign with the technological improvements they've made , I think they'd be the bet on the market. I'm so not interested in the stem design. Might be a hard pass for me.
I appreciate actual quality reviews on ANC and transparency! Those are the two biggest reasons I use airpods with my Samsung phone. Awesome to hear Samsung is stepping it up.
This a review i was looking for. I'm coming from Buds 2 pro and just wanted to see a review comparing it to the buds 3 pro. Glad you did this and you really sold me on the newer ones except for the fact that they look like airpods but a minor descripenancy.
Help needed. I have iPhone 15 and want to buy ear buds. Main point is, I want to be heard as good as possible when making phone calls. Apple EarPods are my last option. I’m considering Huawei free buds pro 3 and Samsung buds 3 pro, but I’m not sure how good they will work with iOS.
I like the stem style. Incredibly, the LED light and total EQ thing. The light helps in the dark light of the flight cabin if I switch it on. I am looking forward to getting them. The latest news that the iPod registered to access the brain wave is quite scary-switching everything to Samsung, especially when they pulled out divestment from Israel, just for personal reasons.
I’m currently using AirPods Pro 2 because they have mini tips that fit well as I have small ear canals. How do the smallest tips on the Earbuds 3 Pro compare to the AirPod mini tips?
I kinda hate the new stem design because it looks like a knock off of the airpods but man! The microphone is miles better than the buds pro 2. Ill take the new design with a better microphone. Amazing!
How much better are these buds pro3 than the buds live +. I am unsure about upgrading because of the difference in design. I much prefer tye bean shape over the stem, but if the buds pro3 are that much better, i might nake the leap. What's your opinion?
Samsung should've released this design from the start. All the previous versions always fall out of my ear frequently. The stem makes the fit more secure.
Ehh, just ordered the buds3 pros. I've had the buds2 pros for bit over a year now and I just think the ANC just sucks so bad on them. Makes them sound super muffled and they dont really block out much sound at all. The sound profile is also a bit weird in my opinion but as I've gotten used to it its fine. Hope the buds3 pros change this :)
Does the blade lights or whatever they call it stay on or off while playing music? I mean does the user have control over either to keep it continuously on or off while listening to something?
@@BooredAtWork ofcourse in side the case it will turn off but my concern was that outside the case if i want do i have the option to turn the light off or on as per my preference? Proprietary nonsense and communication between other products should be the standard. They should be putting customer satisfaction above profit. Apple is terrible when it comes to customizing their products in general, though. Their optimization and UI is second to none, but that isn't enough to convince me to lock myself in a box when using their products.
As someone who is constantly on the phone the mic sounds phenomenal. Waiting to hear some more examples, but this is very promising. Thanks for the review!
I have the airbuds 2 pro, is it worth switching to the buds3 pro? or are there no differences between them?
Why did you record the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro microphone test in 360 Audio? That's unfair.
Will the Buds 3 Pro be compatible with further upcoming Samsung phones? Like the S25 or the S26
yes of course!
I love the stem design. I have always used buds with this design. Started with Huawei buds then one plus buds and now Samsung buds. These sound great, feel great too.
really happy about the switch to the stem style!
I tried on the Buds 3 pro and wow the fit and seal is incredible
Versus huawei freebuds 3 pro, who's win?
Unfortunately the regular mic sound was not shown, only the additional 360 function of the Buds Pro 3. So the comparison with the AirPods Pro 2 lacks a bit - this test a was waiting for…
But good review overall
I was hoping for a fit comparison. That's my number one concern.
Should've brought back the matte black color.
The best feature is the led on the earbuds, why aren't these reviewers talk about it!?! Having these in your ear and having the led blinks on and off while you're listening to songs is awesome
I'm impressed, I've always ran airpod pros, with my s22 ultra, but I'm gonna trade In my airpods for the new galaxy buds 3 pro ! 🔥
True
I appreciate actual quality reviews on ANC and transparency! Those are the two biggest reasons I use airpods with my Samsung phone. Awesome to hear Samsung is stepping it up.
Hi. Are they worth it for audio quality? Or do you recommend a better one for that price dor Andeoid?
The ANC on the airpods 2 pro is literally insane. If the new buds are on that level, thats a kiler feature.
This a review i was looking for. I'm coming from Buds 2 pro and just wanted to see a review comparing it to the buds 3 pro. Glad you did this and you really sold me on the newer ones except for the fact that they look like airpods but a minor descripenancy.
Sounds quality and ANC compared to heavy hitters like 1000xm5, QC ultra or technics?
I wonder too
Great video. What about multipoint ?
Dayumm the buds 3 pro is looking so good with that design and lights. I'm tempted to upgrade
Dude, I love you, man. You're always posting the video that I'm looking for before I'm even looking for it.
im using buds live since announced. actually i don't have any problem with my buds but i d like to update. what do you think is it worth to change?
Hey man love ur vids. Thanks❤ Would like to know how much more they costed than the buds 2 pro
@Ywtz_xi Thanks man
Help needed.
How they pair with apple devices??
Just ordered mine. Not giving up on my galaxy buds pro 2, still keeping them.
Traded in my original galaxy buds pro and pre ordered the buds pro 3 for 100 usd. I can’t wait for them to come.
Thanks for this long good review !
The microfoon of the new buds are fantastic.
So the music must be awesome 😎💪
For me ANC is the only thing that matters. I think upgrading is a wise idea but $279 is pricy if you dont take advantage of current preorder discounts
I’m currently using AirPods Pro 2 because they have mini tips that fit well as I have small ear canals. How do the smallest tips on the Earbuds 3 Pro compare to the AirPod mini tips?
I wonder how they sound compared to the nothing buds because those sound dope!
what would it be like using the samsuing buds 3 pro with an iphone?
I traded on 1 of my pairs of FEs immediately for a pair of these! I can't wait to get them. No one can hear me on the FEs. Im excited
I kinda hate the new stem design because it looks like a knock off of the airpods but man! The microphone is miles better than the buds pro 2. Ill take the new design with a better microphone. Amazing!
OMG, I am definitely getting the buds3 pro. I didn't realise they are this good ❤
I love buds 2 pro I bought two of them because they fit so nicely in the ear . I can run and they won’t fall off
9:21 - is a Galaxy phone required to get this 360 audio quality from the Buds3 Pro?
What about using the buds pro3 on an iPhone? Can I set them up on a Samsung tablet then use them on iPhone?
How much better are these buds pro3 than the buds live +. I am unsure about upgrading because of the difference in design. I much prefer tye bean shape over the stem, but if the buds pro3 are that much better, i might nake the leap. What's your opinion?
Much better than the buds live by a mile
@BooredAtWork ok perfect thank you.
galaxy buds 3 pro wireless charging?
yes
Samsung should've released this design from the start. All the previous versions always fall out of my ear frequently. The stem makes the fit more secure.
I really don’t like that clear top on the new galaxy buds pro. Makes them look super cheap but guess you can’t fix that with a case
Dang I can't sleep with these buds on like I can with the buds 2 pro😢
Bet your the type of person that sleeps with their shoes on too
Ehh, just ordered the buds3 pros.
No. It only lights up in the case
@@BooredAtWork ofcourse in side the case it will turn off but my concern was that outside the case if i want do i have the option to turn the light off or on as per my preference? Like the soundpeats H1? They have an in app option to keep the lights on or off while the buds are in your ear playing content.
Do the pros come in white as well?
Yes
Why didn't you cover comfort? If the buds aren't comfortable, it doesn't matter how good they sound.
I am only interested in audio quality, is it worth upgrading from buds1 pro to buds3 pro?
Yes it is
Check out loud n wireless. He will release soundsamples very soon and you can compare it with nearly every earpod on the market. Its more helpfull than every review cuz every one has a slightly different taste.
Pre ordered my buds pro 3 already 😊. Can't wait and come christmas watch 7 ultra and can't wait for that gift under that christmas tree.
