This is the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry military band, based out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I am one of the trumpets featured in this clip. It’s made up mainly of reservists and civilian contracted employees.
For those of you wondering, I'm pretty sure this is 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI). The Patricias are one of our oldest Regular Force line infantry regiments.
Royal Hamilton Light Infantry (Canada) who are a formally allied unit to The Rifles in the UK. Most if not all Canadian Army regiments have sibling/ allied regiments in the British Army. Likely they were performing AT the Rifles' Retreat/ in conjunction with them.
The first march is actually “Canada On The March” by C H Jaegar, which features The Maple Leaf Forever as its second strain. You can listen to it at m.soundcloud.com/immsinternational/canada-on-the-march.
