Aah... the combat medical orderlies, drivers, support service personnel, together with the support weapons platoons; they can play a tune or two as well ;)
I believe that it was (Post-1945) a mostly peaceful transition to the Commonwealth, which has now seen former colonies of other nations join, forming a club devoted to trade, education, culture and other forms of cooperation .
I know what you mean Juan ;-),....It's 79th Farewell to Gibraltar; ua-cam.com/video/D3Ginr557ms/v-deo.html ;-) ;-) ;-) And yes you were right,..there is a second march ;-),...there is only a very short piece of it at the end !
@@keithrudd8003 for this march its too loud ;) Sure if its necessary for the guards , I understand. Although if they are good guards they can march also without bassdrum, just to the music;)
How can you not love two ranks of trombones laying out a street-clearing swath of acoustical destruction for the entire ensemble?
Just amazing. I think it's my favorite youtube video. Love "acoustical destruction" lol!
Well said! I haven't heard a military band that can compare with the British Guards bands, the musical score is marvelous.
I like how the trumpets play the second part one octave higher then it is written on the score @3:35
Kudos to them as it sound so friggin' solid!
Cornets not trumpets :-)
that is exactly how it is supposed to be played, high and mighty.
A beautiful march played well from start to finish. Thanks for posting this video.
We remember Arnhem today.

Steve Staite is WO2 noa
@@Nathan.150 Steve staite wasn't a WO2. The only Drum Major to hold the rank of WO2 is the Senior Drum Major which at the time was Scott Fitzgerald.
I can watch this all day

Love this march! We play it too and very nice to hear these traditional marches.
Bassdrum is way too loud though
Bart Feeburg, no it’s not .. there a formation of guards behind the band who use the bass drum to keep step
