I remember in an interview Tosin did a while ago, where they asked him "who are you listening to these days?" He replied, "Isaiah Sharkey". And a djenty boi like me was like "???" Good to see him endorsed.
What amazes me about Isaiah is that he will play a different guitar (with different neck radius, neck profile, scale length) in each gig, and I mean huge gigs with Mayer and what not (he played this same guitar on Ellen with Mayer). I would only go for the gear I perfectly know.
I would love to own some guitars like these. Abasi guitars: They're so fresh! Not to mention the featured artist rosters is some of the best variety I have ever heard. Awesome work man.
Here I am, really starting to get into Isaiah Sharkey and through the UA-cam wormhole, it takes this video for me to just now learn that Tosin Abasi has a guitar company.
Team Abasi concepts KILLING it AGAIN with the fantastic Isaiah Sharkey! Congrats. YOu have a most diverse array of fantastic guitarists for your awesome guitars. Happy for your success!
saw him in Melbourne w/JM. Was amazed to see him playing a AC guitar. I have both Ibanez Sugnature series and loved them more than my 1st. IbanezJEM77FP and 10th Year Anniversary JEM. When I return stateside I plan on buying a custom Abasi Concepts. But I am super interested in buying one of the TA prototypes which were produced prior to leaving Ibanez. Any help would be more than appreciated. Thank you.
If you have Isiah Sharkey on here. PLEASE reach out to erick walls. You and him both have very cool uses of thumb picking, I'd love to see him on abasi concepts.
You need to get some guitarist vocalists onboard too! These and the strandbergs seem to be aiming at virtuoso players when I think it would be great to see some songwriters playing them too! Adore the guitars I'm saving for one to showcase them in a different light 👊
That building they filmed these in is going to be condemned for too much nastiness...just pure nastiness. ..everywhere. Call the health department and a priest.
Awesome playing, though I think this would sound far better on a Gibson ES or something with humbuckers, this sounds kind of thin and nasally to me, especially the higher notes
Lol no way, what an awesome and diverse cast of guitarists in these videos
Ikr
I agree!!!!!!
Tosin himself likes a lot of genres.
god bless those who understand jazz
I love the artists you're bringing on. Really showcases the instrument well.
Yeah, not one style or tone. Sweet.
It works so well because the really showcase the instrument which showcases the player very well.

Tosin... It's decided. I need that guitar in my life.
He's such a tremendous talent.
This guy is a monstrous player, damn.
it's like a fattier tone tele. GREAT!!
I think that's just the Greg Koch fluence pickups. Definitely looks and sounds great though.
Tosin if you're reading this, i swear man, REACH OUT TO ERIC GALES
The more i see your guitars the more im starting to love them also at the beginning of the video from certain spots it looks like a tele
His father was the shit. Evidently super supportive.
I need this acts.

Man I love this style of playing!

To be so young, your playing is so mature and musical, not even one wasted note! So inspiring! ❤️🔥🎸🔥❤️🏆

You could make any guitar sound good Isaiah! You need to get someone that sucks like me to play it.👨🏾🔬
Great player with such an amazing musical background 🖤
What a lovely guitarist, great tone too
Well, I'm in awe of this guy...
Sharkey dope, period.
Love the closed captions! They start out like "'Hi my sis and I'm here with a posse concepts xD
true guitar playing right here, down to the essence...no other way to describe it
I love this so much! Celebration and honor to the hardworking musicians and deserve so much recognition. Isaiah rips.
I love that Larada Space T guitar! I think I higher placement of the camera (rather than on the floor) would have showed it off better, though :)
Keen for Stephen Taranto segment
This is a very NICE video 😊
Man that tone is crazy, doesn't even sound like a typical twanging tele pickup. Is it just the pickups in this guitar? Or is there more to it
Production on point, artist roster too fly and growing. Excited to see S.Taranto and Roopam Garg next!
ahhrggg love this!!!!
This cat ain't playing!!! Love your style bro!
holy shit Sharkey makes this beauty singing like a gospel woman! great guitar, great man, more lesson sharkey please!!!
Much love
Isaiah sold me a guitar. I’m buying

Sickk video, love to see him commenting on the voicings of that instrument
That's some nice, creative playing

Wondering what amp this is plugged in because this « Telecaster » sounds gorgeously thick
Mr J imma tag along here just in case someone answers. The sound is gorgeous!
Tagging along as well
My guess is Tosin's rig so likely a Morgan SW-50R, and maybe also his 212?
Awesome
Isaiah 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Those chord solos mannnn
abasi getting some amazingly good musicians on these things D:
wonder how long until abasi musicians take over the world?
Very cool
OBRIGADO !!!!
Has the endorsement ended already? All the Abasi-related content disappeared from Sharkley’s social media outlets.
My ego just shat itself...
That guitar has a nice spanky tone :D. Reminds me of Prince his original madcat telecaster.
played for Richard Smallwood!!! had no idea
Fantastic.
This was nice. 🎸
what's on the floor? Timefactor and Chase?
My last name is Sharkey. I've been playing or 42 years.
Dang, wich shoes are those?
such a nice vid
the grain on this body is stupidly thicc and epically so
get taranto on here too that man is wild
Isaiah, what pedal is the bigger one and what amp are you using? Thank you.
Build Thundercat a bass
Damn!
Was that 'Sunday Feels' at 3:38
Nah it's how does it feel by D'Angelo
what gear is he using///??
Lol tasty!!!!!
is he a giant or is that chair way too small...amazing playing though as always
That building they filmed these in is going to be condemned for too much nastiness...just pure nastiness. ..everywhere. Call the health department and a priest.
Im glad to see Tosin putting some brother's front insted of that neural bs contest i still got a bad taste in my mouth about that ..ugggg
not a fan of the headstock. HUGE fan of the body and throwback style. But who cares about that? Let's see more finishes and maple tops!
too expensive
ugly headstock
Awesome playing, though I think this would sound far better on a Gibson ES or something with humbuckers, this sounds kind of thin and nasally to me, especially the higher notes
take away the peddles and lets see what ya got!
I judt dont get jazz
Boring random shopping mall music
Nah.
ugly guitar...just buy a real Fender Telecaster.
Frank Discussion yes because clearly a musician of this caliber has never felt a tele before
Looks way better than a standard boring ass tele
