When they said they didn’t include the entire Pokédex in Sword&Shield to improve animations a few years ago, this is more of what I had in mind. They actually look very cool this time around.
Well, while some moves animation look nice and clean, some others look terrible. Just take close combat as an exemple, the animation is really disappointing. Or some pokemons like Rhyperior for exemple have only one animation with different effects across all moves.
Maybe in Gen 9 there is like an NPC who is known for exploring the depths of Hisui and has a lab that might ressurect these Pokemon back to life. And has a special item called "Ancient TM" that may able to learn these new moves.

Headlong Rush us my personal favorite. I found it on an Alpha Torrterra and it looked very powerful. When I could I caught the Torrterra and it helped beat Volo.
Let's hope they can be retaught in the future. Let's hope that somehow all these ancient Pokemon (evolutions, forms, and Enamorus,) can somehow all come back in the future.

The only one kind of disappointing is Avalaugs, and hits as har as Giga Impact without reducing his priority and with STAB

Some moves can be translated over to what we’re used to in the mainline games via previous moves in the game. Raging Fury, for instance, seems like a fire type Outrage or Thrash. Headlong Rush seems like a ground type Close Combat. I’d wager Wave Crash to be a water type Wild Charge. Though if I were to choose a move to put into the mainline games, it’d be Chloroblast. I’m imagining a grass type special attacking Double Edge. This would make so many grass types more threatening. Mountain Gale too, which could be a physical ice move better than Icicle Crash.

Actually I agree on the terrain graphics being shit but character models and effects are fine. Though still would say it's a weak point of the game overall
Lunar Blessing and Shelter is gonna be so disgusting. Defense boost+evasion and + status heal for lunar blessing, and considering the pokemon that gets it. I think it will be banned in most format.
i really hope this stuff returns. it would be cool if we got like a Ditto in later games that had old DNA from the hisui days and when you bred that with any pokemon that have a hisui form/ evolution, it will become a hisui pokemon

Ancient Moves? I don't get it. These are just, like, normal moves that are new. There's nothing special about them. For example you can learn Power Shift from Zisuo, I gave it to my Steelix, he can now turn his 522 defense stat into a 522 attack stat.
Does anyone else find the accuracy in this game to be bizarre? The amount of times I've had a move miss even when the accuracy is 100 is unreal and there has been multiple times where even a move with 95 accuracy will miss more often that you'd expect. Heck, I had a 90 accuracy miss three times in a row during one battle and there was nothing influencing it either.
Was it foggy out, moves become more likely to miss when there's fog out. As for the 95 to 90 accuracy moves, it's Pokémon if the move isn't 100 percent accuracy then it's bound to miss
@@krislee3155 Weather looked clear during those misses. I think the game decided to secretly increase the miss chances because so many people in the past have complained about the previous games being too easy and having too much hand holding.

I really disliked Sneaslers design, but seeing it in game the way it moves in battle it actually grew on me and it’s pretty dope!
Sneasler looked really weird to me at first in a way that I can't really describe. I've grown to appreciate it since then.
