As part of this mothers vs meguiars car care detailing challenge, we divided the car in half, spraying the meguiar's spray detailer and the Mother's spray on the other half of the car. This is auto detailing 101, learning all about how to get the mos tout of your car wash using the car spray detailer afterwards. This is an important facet of car care and auto detailing.

Mother's instant detailer 😍 my favourite. I like to use it after a wash or when the rain just fell. Lovely video btw.

I've been using the Mothers product for a very long time, when it was called Showtime. I love it. But now I know if I can't find it in the local shop the Meguires product will do just fine..

I’ve used this mother’s detailer cause it came with the clay bar .... and after doing it...man my black paint was nice and super shiny and soft
Yes and if you try some of that new turtle wax one and done Polish that will be incredible for cleaning the paint and conditioning the paint before you wax it
I washed and waxed my car and the next day it got tree sap "mist" all over it. I will try the meguiars and see how it does getting it off. I was concerned about scratches, but it didn't seem to in your test.
You need to wash the car again for the tree sap mist. I know I had that happen to me a few months. It’s actually afed poop

Mothers all the way! I use it for my motorcycle. One tip incase people want to know which one is better when u go to your local store like Canadian Tire you'll notice so many product of Meguiars laying around but mothers jesus christ it's hard to find a certain product like chrome polish oh man I'm having a hard time finding it. So yea there you go for Mothers.

I watched your video about changing battery in MB key fob, it seemed very easy, yet when I tried it on the key to my E350, 2009, it does not work. Any advice or suggestions?
Did you follow the little trick we showed you exactly? That's the key to getting it to release.
@@carbuying yes I did and it couldn't release the latch to open the back cover.
Adding to my previous response to your reply to my initial querry, the key to my MB E350 had 2 batteries instead of one as shown in your video.

When you spray you should use the cloth to block the spray particles from going on the other side. This made me cringe.
You're a little too OCD over this, you're not going to stop overspray even by using the cloth, due to the wind. The idea is you just ignore anything within a couple of inches of the tape. Look at the field, not the border.
With the wind you are likely to even have over spray. We are more concerned with the areas away from where the borderline is, everyone knows we look near the tape but not right at the tape. the tape really only matters when waxing, as there is no over spray.

Don't use this spray on wax crap. No matter how you polish or buff it out, it still leaves a fog and streaks and a weird matte type pattern

No it clear up anything for anybody . how much were you paid to promote both these products ? also you used the dry side of the towel on the trunk with meguiras when you resprayed 4:23 . i watched the first 5 minutes and the last to see what the outcome was.guess what , no outcome EPIC FAIL
Your statements make zero sense. No one paid us for this, we buy all our chemicals ourselves sin retail stores, they are not given to us. Also at 4:23 like you said we used the dry side of the towel on one quick respray when the test was pretty much done and the towel was snot being used again. No big deal, get over yourself. Yes normally we do wash the car 1st but the true purpose of this video just sailed right over your head because we wanted to create conditions that were worst case to put both of these through a stress test
