- #shortsvideo Kainokai bow really is a great bow, however the grip needed some attention. The flat back of the bow created a void between the fingers and the bow. This quick fix made it better to shoot and enjoy.
Bicycle handlebar/baseball bat tape works real well, too. I wrapped one of my wife's longbows with it as a temporary fix, but she really likes it, so . . .
I thought about doing that or using bow grip wrap. Either would be good for this. I am definitely going to update and modify the project. I appreciate your time and the comment my friend. Have a great day! Best regards

Thank you Sig Man. This is was a quick fix, but it has given me some ideas to improve on it. As you stated in sure someone has something for sell for this. I’ve always been a diy type so this was a fun project. Definitely more to come.
Also, sometime back you mentioned the bulldog targets on one of my post. Of course I showed my wife the targets. She made a deal with me. Get rid of all my home brew targets and she would replace them with a bull dog target. Lol. I guess we will see.

@@ScottWinters That sounds like a great deal you will not be disappoint they are very nice targets. They also have the one called a pug which is a little easier to transport around the bulldog is a little heavy but at least it will not fall over when you shoot it. Not bad for a quick fix, for a longer term solution you could epoxy a piece of wood on and shape it with a file and sandpaper to fit your hand perfectly, have a great week

In my opinion, bows like that should definitely have a leather wrap around the handle at least or something to make the grip feel more comfortable.
