This is a great example. Now imagine if you already know that it's play action. Then no amount of setting it up would matter.

Still have to be able to stop the other team bud. No amount of knowing what’s coming matters if you can’t physically stop it.
Still comes down to being bigger, faster stronger

@@twswbc that's the thing. When teams are basically identical in talent, the smallest advantage is huge. I'm sure Michigan didn't scout Bowling Green for example. Ohio State though, eight times! You wouldn't want your opponent to know what plays your team was running. Very disingenuous on your part.

@@twswbc Yeah... knowing that's a pass means you can drop the strong side LB in coverage and it's suddenly a contested throw. Of course you still have to execute, but that effectively nullifes any advantage you get from the setup. Be real, knowing in advance is huge!

Thanks for this, Urban, this is cool to see the game this way. Man does it help to have Marvin Harrison Jr, not only for his pass-catching! Seems like a big Emeka game again - he was the leading receiver in last year's game. Hope that ankle's as healed up as possible. Go Buckeyes!

Which is why it's important to have more than one big time receiver. TTUN is going to try to take Marv out of the game plan by putting their best corner on him (who's really good) and support with a double team with a safety. But that leaves Emeka and Stover potentially open.

Ohio can't win the Bigten championship, so that not happening. Nice joke though.

I love how he breaks things down in a way for some people to follow, most people don't see the little things that lead to TDs
