Nice build mate but have one question do you worry for crank walk issue mostly i heard people having dkm stge 2 clutchs facing this even southbend clutches.. what do you have to say about that?
haven’t worried about it, most of the time it happens is when the clutch is pushed in for long amounts of time at idle. (usually at a stop light) oil pressure is the lowest point and the clutch weight drags on the crank.
True. Lateral pressure on the crank only occurs with the clutch pedal depressed. If your clutch is upgraded and capable of greater clamping force, your clutch will have to overcome that force to disconnect from flywheel, resulting in greater lateral pressure on the crank. I've made it a driving habit to have the clutch released at all practical times, such as when I know I'm going to have to wait a little bit at a stop. I don't just sit there with the clutch down, wearing out parts. For example, if I'm rolling up to a light that just yellowed, I'm stopping, I know I'll have to wait a few minutes before green, I'll downshift a couple gears and then pop to neutral and release clutch, rolling to a stop with brake. It's called paying attention and not fiddling with a phone or some other distraction. You can anticipate light cycles and put it in gear and be ready to go within a few seconds. I figure for 100k miles or more, this habit will have reduced clutch actuation wear significantly.
