This is my year year growing lemon grass. I really appreciate this awesome video, thank you! Could you do another video showing how you use the lemon grass other than tea? Thanks ❤️ 🇨🇦
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me. Can you tell me if you have a video of the instructions of making lemongrass tea? I’ve never tried it.
Brenda Lay, you're welcome. I did a video for the lemongrass tea here ua-cam.com/video/JsPh5FhepiU/v-deo.html it's super simple. I hope you will enjoy it.
I just started growing lemongrass and this is my first time harvesting it so your helped me out so much! Also I've never cook with it myself so I've subscribed to your channel to learn more! Thanks bunches!!
Love your videos. Used to have a friend from Vietnam that taught me a few recipes and introduced me to the cuisine and we love it. Have you ever fixed the stuffed chicken wings? So good.
Anything can keep moisture is fine. I have not used straw mulch on it but on my garden elsewhere. I use geass clippings because it's free. But any compost or much is good.
I don't. I think the soil got enough food for my lemongrass. If I was to grow in the raised bed, I'd fertility with milorganite. It's organic and high in nitrogen which is good for the leaves. Lemongrass is kind of like grass.
@@fishsaucemama ty! I know how to harvest and store this in its various forms plus important tips on use!...most informative video on this, much appreciated! Harvesting in a few hours 🤩😋
Kinda Bugado. If your area is not too cold in the winter, save a few stalks for next year. Watch this video on how to leave them in the ground if you're in the area similar to zone 7b or warmer. Here it'll often gets to about in the low 20's. I hope overwinter them well will keep them alive till next spring for a good head start. Try a few stalks. Good luck and have fun.

Yes, a lot of lemongrass. Thanks.
When I lived in FL, I would trim back the lemongrass every year to use as mulch. I made lots of lemongrass tea too….I chilled the tea in the fridge.
Wow brilliant and nice tips you have shown. I love growing lemongrass for delicious tea and cooking.

Thanks for your feedback!
Wow a lot 👍
nice vLogs
Thanks!
Can we use dried fallen leaves for something
When you pull the lemongrass like hat, will it come back in the spring?
No. For zone 7b here where I am at the winter will kill it. I just restart every spring in March or April.
Es muy rico, donde podría encontrar, la conozco como "yerba Luísa" aquí una planta que se parece.
Gracias por compartir!!!!
Thanks for the feedback. Here's the tea recipe ua-cam.com/video/JsPh5FhepiU/v-deo.html
@@fishsaucemama thank you very much!!!!!!
You're welcome!
Do you use straw mulch to cover the lemongrass plant? Please give me some tips.
Anything can keep moisture is fine. I have not used straw mulch on it but on my garden elsewhere. I use geass clippings because it's free. But any compost or much is good.
@@fishsaucemama I think you meant grass clippings instead of geass clippings. Thanks for your reply
Yes. Hehehe... typo.
How do you fertilize lemongrass?
I don't. I think the soil got enough food for my lemongrass. If I was to grow in the raised bed, I'd fertility with milorganite. It's organic and high in nitrogen which is good for the leaves. Lemongrass is kind of like grass.
