Love the Top 5 list, but if you cite price as one of the factors you should list the prices. 😊 For your convenience, I have listed the prices for all the models. All the prices are as mentioned in Matt's review videos. 2020 Coachmen Pursuit 27xps - List:$107,938 Sale:$72,999 2021 Thor A.C.E. 29.5 - List:$138,323 Sale:~$95,000 2021 Fleetwood Flair 29m - List:$128,317 Sale:$89,999 2020 Winnebago Sunstar 27pe (twin) - List:$157,144 Sale:$117,995 2021 Thor Axis 24.1 (twin) - List:$118,028 Sale:$89,999
I completely agree, they should have listed the prices somewhere. Thank you for your time and effort in getting these prices. That was very kind of you🥰🤗
I'm so psyched! I have the # 1 and after 2 years I still love it! The bathroom is funky but it's really huge! All depends on what you're looking for! But I love my Thor Vegas!
Thank you Matt. With all the nonsense going on in the world right now, I watch your videos because you are so cheerful and upbeat. This also includes your wife and Will. Keep up the good reviews. :-)
Definatly Love these RV's. All of them were great in my opinion because there smaller class A's, and some have outside kitchens. But my favorite is the #1 I have seen a couple of them and I Love them. they look cool to me and they really have everything I really need. Great List.
For those that complain about Matt doing an advertisement within his videos, live with it. If you don't want to see it, use the scroll bar to fast forward. Just like when they do the time-wasting opening the cabinets and drawers, I use the scroll to fly past it and only see what is useful (cockpit, sink/meal prep area, refrigerator, bathroom size, and bed size).
Great videos as always Matt! I'd love....as I'm sure many others would, to know both class A and C with best tow capacities. This is probably a number one consideration for us moving up to another unit... what can adequately tow what and still have the maneuverability and comfort people may want. We want to flat tow a Jeep Grand Cherokee so its about 5000lbs. Keep up the great work!
I wish everyone doing reviews - would use this format - here's the main points & on to the next. It actually more or less forces one to pay attention. KUDOS
Matt I’m not sure if price was a big consideration but it seems it was. If you can step the price up a bit higher than I think the Newmar bay star sport 2702 is much nicer. I believe Newmar makes three gas motor homes under 30 feet.
Hey Matt & Will, Great Presentation! Please add drivers leg room on the drivers side in your video! MANY MANY times when there is a left side slide, there is NO leg room for the driver! This is very difficult for 6ft. drivers or those with hip, knee replacements. Thank You! Great Job Will!
Thank you Matt for doing this small class A top 5. This is the class and size we will be looking at when we are ready to move up to a powered coach. This is very helpful!
@@charleskelly505 the washer and dryers cost about $1500 and is an expensive convenience and that a another chance of having water leaks. I had no problem going to there RV parks to do laundry. These W/D take forever to wash and dry and use of valuable water reserves when your dry camping. I could see having a W/D if we were full timers and pretty much in the same place most of the time.
Big fan of Winnebago. List looked good to me but I probably would have selected a different number 1. But you know better than me since this is your channel and you sell them. Great video!
Well, not ready yet but under 30 class A is what I’m looking for in the near future. Who would be the Honda and Toyota of the RV world? What I mean is, the best fit and finish and reliability? Have you done best bang for your buck RV video yet? I normally go with 8/10th of what I want/quality at half the price or so when I shop for anything. I don’t want cheap but I don’t need luxury.
Hello, I love the number 2 pick. Big fan of Winnebago! The number 5 Coachman was my favorite because of the no slides, also had a great layout. Matt and Wil, you are doing fantastic work! Thank you.👍👍❤❤
Matt, I enjoy your reviews, but I would really like to learn more construction, safety, reliability, and drivability. For example, does the Thor Vegas drive like a Class C? The F53 chassis tends to be more stable with a wider front axle and tighter wheel turn. Has Thor done anything to make the Vegas drive like an F53? What about the wheelbase to length ratio? Which of these are generally more stable driving down the road with a side wind? What about the roof, do any of these have full fiberglass roofs, which are MUCH easier to maintain? Floorplan reviews are great, but there's a lot more to consider when buying an RV. Thanks.
Garth, this video was a short rundown of his top five under 30ft. It wasn't intended to fully explore all nuances of each RV. Maybe you can get detailed info from Matt's stand alone videos on the above products, or go directly to the manufacturers site. Just sayin...
@@DK-bk1vq My comment reflected Matt's reviews in general. I was hoping that Matt would take it as a suggestion for future videos. These are questions that many buyers ask when considering a purchase, but few manufacturers or dealers answer. I've watched many reviews of RVs and can't find anyone who address these questions. I really enjoy Matt's reviews and appreciate his candor. Matt is one vlogger whom I hope would be able to answer my questions. For my candor, basing a Top 5 list on floorplans alone is silly. Manufactures are often silent on construction, safety, reliability, and drivability -- which suggests that the details aren't flattering for their products. I recognize that Matt represents a dealer and may not be in a position to expose issues that would dissuade buyers from a specific product that General RV sells. Still, if there is a manufacture that stands out with these features, I'm hoping that Matt could highlight their products. Odds are high that there is another RV in our future and Matt's reviews have encouraged me to consider General RV for the purchase. I appreciate that General RV is supporting Matt, his reviews, and his candor. It would be a great service to buyers if General RV would also support a more open discussion about construction, safety, reliability, and drivability. Anyone at General RV listening??
I’ve watched a ton of your videos and love your top 3 and bottom 3 and also like to get a real perspective of the size of a rig and how I would feel in the space. That being said, I’ve watched both your video for the top 5 class C’s under 25 feet and this video of class A’s under 30 feet and over half were over the length you’re saying they are. If people are researching based on the type of camping they’d like to do or what they’re comfortable driving you could be misleading them. If the rig is over you should clarify or actually pick rigs that fit the criteria that you set.
I like the layout of the Fleetwood Flair 28A better than the 29M but beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Also, it’s truly under 30 feet. To quote you,” just saying!” .
The RV from the Movie Stripes is the TOP Dog of Camping. We ALL know that The M150 Urban assault vehicle/rv.. Great review I say the top picks add up easily to good choices.
Love the video , but I disagree with the Vegas as #1. 2 problems first funky bathroom is too clumsy. What really killed it was the bedroom , bunkhouse, 2nd living room? I'm not sure what Thor was aiming for with that. Heres my alternative the Jayco Allante 27v with the farmhouse interior as a number one . Thanks again and keep up the awesome videos
Love the L seating!!!! Dinettes are truly not functional any longer. To short for most adults to sleep. Love how units are going with U and L shaped seating/dining options. Great job!
Surprised not to see the Entegra Vision 27A on the list. Also two of them are over a true 30 ft. Why don't manufacturers use the actual length in model names? Really like the Winnebago and Thor Ace.
Matt you are a little cheesy but definitely provide the best RV reviews! I think the Entegra Vision 27A, under 30 ft., and Newmar Bay Star Sport 2813, under 30 ft HAVE to be in top 5. Probably top 2. Their construction, quality and amenities can’t be beat. My opinion that’s not based on price point. Tx Matt.
If I was in the market for a new Class A motorhome under 30 ft., my choice would be the Fleetwood Flair or possibly the Winnebago. I think the kitchens were the nicest and I like them best. Still, all of these are great units under 30 ft.
@@JodysJourney Thank you. I hear that it’s smart actually to get a used RV generally speaking bc the original owner will have to deal with the inevitable gripes that usually will be discovered in the first year or so. Are you fulltiming?
Thank you for the review and hope to see them individually. I noticed the number one doesn't have slam latch doors which should be available in any number one class A. Thanks again
See lots of ACE and Vegas units at NASCAR tracks. Most of the owners of such I've spoken with are not really hardcore RV types but are damn serious about their NASCAR! Also lots of guys (2 or 3 friends) rent them for the races as well. I would have loved to see a pricing/feature sheet for comparison of these 5.
This is the video that I have been looking for. I wish you would have told us the prices. Thank you. Of those brands which are the most reliable.
Ditto
Prices would be nice
I love this guy and may travel many miles just to buy from him. He spreads happiness and joy. So fun.
#1 should have been #5 for the 2-piece bed in the back. #5 was my favorite - roomy without a slide and lots of storage in the back
I liked the quality look for the price point of the Fleetwood Flair.
My number one would be the Newmar Baystar Sport 2813. Number one, it has a full length 60” x 80” walk around queen bed. I’m 6’6” so I need that.
I'm so psyched! I have the # 1 and after 2 years I still love it! The bathroom is funky but it's really huge! All depends on what you're looking for! But I love my Thor Vegas!

The twin bed Thor Vegas / Axis is my favorite also
I also love the Thor Axis 24.1 for the rear bed setup.
Hi
I have a 2015 Thor Vegas …. And totally agree with you…. This rv has been great …. It’s the right size to go anywhere…. Can tow a boat and sleep 4

That Fleetwood Flair 29M has been my dream class A ever since watching your first video on it. All other layouts get compared to that one.
#1 THOR / AXIS 24.1 is my favorite - love the king size bed!
The only one I may have added would be the Jayco Alante.
The Axis 27.4 should be on the list. It’s under 30 ft and I love the floor plan.

We bought the Vegas 24.1. Been out 4 times already. Nice unit, but wish it had a smaller fixed queen bed and bigger shower.
The last one. Number 1, I’d like to see a video on just that one.
