Thanks! Currently I am using the mid version with dot skates and it works nicely. With the soft base you generally would need more dots to lessen the sinking in. Something like 4 on top and 4-5 on bottom would suffice.
Yeah I just tried the mid as well and the base makes some difference just like with other Artisan pads, being slightly faster. Don’t know why some people say the mid is slower tbh.
Rizz doodles is medium and ic2 is soft. I’ve had some issues with static electricity build up on the doodles which randomly makes the pad super slow with larger skates, but it depends on your environment. IC2 is amazing imo.
Artisan is a really small company and this situation is still a lot better than a few years ago when we had to use discord bots to notify when some small batch was on stock 😭 it sucks sor sure for the customer!
@@jerrorr I went Black/XL, before this I was maining the otsu so kind of surprised that I haven't swapped off. I see you've had a similar experience as well!
@@JtwasLuckYeah I was maining the Raiden for a long time and before that the Hayate Otsu, but this thing is something else. Propably end up maining this after I have run trough my backlog of mousepads to review 😂
@@JtwasLuck i didn’t even realize how much the humidity resistance affects the overall experience before this 😅 I was just used to fking up aim training runs because some random side palm sticking situation
It's gonna be my next pad hopefully in grey and S and XXL.
I hope you get it!
Great review as always!
Finally got in an order after months of checking 😅 getting this pad was crazy hard always out of stock
nice review, did you try it with dot skates? is there a big difference in terms of glide/stopping power?

Great review! Is the mid faster than the soft? Thanks!

does it feel better than the artisan zero soft on your arm? i found the zero super rough and my arm gets stuck
Yeah, it’s very smooth
Another banger review.
Thanks brotha!
in your friction measurement, whats the base softness of the rizz doodles and ic2 ? and which one would u prefer between those for tacfps

How does the type 99 compare to freefall sv base control +?
Thanks
Very little. Freefall pad is like a hybrid pad speedwise.
this or the saturn pro?
Saturn pro is a bit faster, but rly good as well.
Some other reviewer said QCK heavy is very similar to Artisan type-99 soft, can that be true?
Weeell both are control pads but very different feeling sn totally different durability. QCK is quicker at first and becomes slower with wear.
Honestly can't stop using this pad, its so good!
What color and hardness did you manage to get?

I’d be happy if i could buy it :)
Yeaah I hope the stock will be big on the next batch
Did you get off the artisan website?
@@imactuallymyth6043 shiiit my goat!
@@imactuallymyth6043 Well, already out of stock :D If I add anything the cart is empty so

Do you prefer mid or soft?
I like soft better but the mid was really good as well, and better if you use dot skates
What's ur preference between this one and zero? Can you give more feedback plz :) Nice video btw !
I prefer this one but Zero is also one of my alltime favorites. Now that I have a dog it just seems to gather those pesky hairs a lot lol.
Is it slower than a gsr 2?
Haven’t tried the gsrII
anyone selling theirs? i cant find one
Should be restocking soon
Link to it?
Google artisan type-99
its very much an whale rizz (non doddle)
@@sheddz6662 i have yet to see any proof for these claims
@@jerrorr well i dont care about the accusation there still very close in speed and initional friction/ stoppingpower
@sheddz6662 I've tried both and they really don't feel that similar

@@sheddz6662 What's "more than a qck"? I need a replacement for Qck? Any suggestion?
This or gsr2
Haven’t tried it
i really hope matcha restocks 🥹
It did for a moment 😭
