The hubby is not a bushcrafter, but he likes bed being cozy when I have the windows open in the midst of winter. Sounds like I figured out my Christmas gift for him!!
Okay that is awesome!! The quilt, wool blanket and the Hutchins roll, winter camping here I come!! So very awesome Coalcracker Bushcraft crew well done! Great stuff brother 👍💪
This is so damn comfy looking I cannot wait to get one for my next festival, it’s SO cold at night. But we’re going until 4-5 am so a blanket to sleeping sack situation is absolutely a necessity
Wow! That thing looks like it's really warm. That thing is a little pricey for myself and I can understand why because of the material and stuffing that you had to use for the thing. I sure wish I could afford one of those it's beautiful. Thanks for the video have a great day and stay safe and keep your powder dry!
I have been on the fence about purchasing a low temp rated sleeping bag, but I think this will better serve me paired with the wool blanket and/or the Hutchins roll.
Dan when did you change your company name too Cold Quacker 😂🤣 Just kidding looks very nice, I might get one of those for Christmas for my wife put on the back of the couch
it is machine washable like other sleeping bags. I don't recommend using a top load washer though. Water resistance, just like other things, over time will fade. You can reapply a DWR or similar if you'd like.
The cotton is treated and is water resistant

I don't need this but..... I need this 👍😎
I wish it had Drawstrings on each end so you could use this as an Under Quilt for a hammock!
Got one!
It is now officially on my wish list

So we have the coal cracker quilt, when are we going to get the wool wacker wilt?
Rated for 20° like you say in the video or -20° like the website says? Is that a comfort or survival rating? Thanks!!
Is it machine washable?… will it have to be reconditioned for water resistance?…

How much does it weigh?
About 5 pounds as mentioned in the video and on the product page.
Cotton? Really? Isn’t that going to get wet and stay wet? The British Army call cotton the ‘death cloth’ for a reason.
no because its treated and water resistant
