Thank you so much Sandi, Debbie & Alex, and everyone else who contributed to this series.
It has been a delight, a pleasure and plenty food for thought to follow these videos, and I have recommended them to people (men! ...) who might be too nervous to start right away with Caroline Criado-Perez, for example :-)
Sandi, your kindess and thoughtfulness is a balm and I shall try and live more kindly every day!

A teary but heartfelt thank you for this series. I played VoxTox to the other patients on the covid wards whilst we were all nervously awaiting our swab results. Afterwards, the 9 minutes was a perfect length of time to do my daily breathing exercises to, so I could nurse my inflamed lungs back to health. Hug those kids and grandkids hard!

    Dear Sandi,
I, like so many others (Everyone!) here, share my sincere thanks and gratitude to you, Debbie and Alex for all that you’ve given during these unusual times. I felt a twinge of melancholy just when the intro music started, feeling the passing of what has been a tremendous inspiration so clearly to so many. I’ll be looking forward to your book and to the DVD collection of Vox Tox (as a companion to the book?). You all honestly deserve an award for it.
    Sincerely,
    Brent
PS I started writing again myself and am very close to finishing what would be my first novel. These videos were certainly a part of what inspired me to do so. 🙏

I am 74 years old so have known forever that women’s achievements, ideas and inventions are either ignored or appropriated by venal second rate men, but I had no idea how many wonderfully capable women from literally all over the world were ignored, side-lined, belittled and forgotten. Your talks were real eye openers to the extent we have been pushed aside. We need equal recognition and status not only now and in the future but in the past. You have shown just how much. I am so sad your talks are ending as I am sure you have just touched the tip of the iceberg. Enjoy your family’s company as much as we have enjoyed yours. Sadly your book will probably not be available in Pakistan but will wait for it on my e-book! When things get back to ‘normal’ I hope you will think about turning this into a weekly programme. I don’t see anyone else stepping up! BBC! Listen up!

Dr. Donna Strickland was our 2019 Honorary degree recipient and commencement speaker here at U of R when I received my doctorate. It was we, the graduating doctoral students, who stood first, applauding wildly, hooting, and hollering. After the dust cleared, she stepped to the microphone and identified herself as the oldest graduate student in the crowd, because she was still learning every single day. She was not the only one who cried I can tell you.
It's with a similar tear that I thank you very much indeed for all your time speaking to us. These have been, all of them, superb.
In admiration for all you continue to do,

VOXTOX, Sandi, have a fun and safe trip. Also, a great vacation, you've all earned. I feel we got to learn from the best, and Debbie? and Alex, did a great job, Debbie's love shows, even Alexs', too, in highlighting your beauty and intelligence, fantastically. I do hope you get refreshed and realize the importance of these, and do more. Best wishes on the book, too! Again, have great time with your family! 👍🏾👍👍🏽👏🏽👏💝😘☮️🎃🐝

Thank you all! I really noticed inequality having had a boy child and then a girl child. They both liked Rainbow comic but all the characters were male (apart from Jane, and she was in a Rod and Freddie sandwich). It was when a new character, a mouse, was introduced that I finally wrote in and complained! They had every opportunity to make it female but they just didn't. I then noticed it everywhere... cereal packets etc. no gang of characters ever had more boys than girls. Thank you for using your influence to speak up about this stuff! Enjoy your rest and I look forward to the book. X

Thank you so very much for the education and entertainment you, Debbie and Alex have delivered over the last few months. While I am sad the podcasts are ending, I am pleased you finally get to be with your families and enjoy their company in person. I look forward to seeing, and purchasing the book in October (hopefully, it will be available in New Zealand). A marvellous endeavour. Safe and happy travels.

Thank you so much Sandi, your weekly delves into the past uncovering and championing some of the amazing women who gave gone before us has been nothing short of breath taking. As am sure many of your other views have experiences Ive laughed, cried and recoiled in shock as to the way women have been repeatably ignored or pushed aside in our unjust patriarchal societies. Do please pop back from time to time to add some light hearted edutainment into our dull lives, should you feel so inclined. Wishing you all the best I have such respect for your intellect and wit and the messages of hope and encouragement you give out. Big shout out to Debbie and Alex for their help am sure this amazing piece of work cannot have been easy so very grateful for their support to you. Over the last few months you have been something of a fixture in my house in Bangkok. Enjoy every moment of your down time and family reunion you have more than earned it.

This was the first I heard of these videos and first I’ve seen. Glad I have so many to go back through and enjoy! Sandi please make sure your book is on audible. No time for reading but use it during walking/running/ commuting. Not sure your talks have touched on the gender change in medicine. We are starting to outnumber the boys in both active medical rolls and medical school admissions 👏👏👏
