Wow, Rich and Ewa, this video was an absolute delight! It seems like there are various magical places on your side of the world that one has to travel to by ferry. Out of curiosity, does this make traveling to these places more expensive? And if it does, how long do you normally stay in these places where you have to travel by ferry? How was the coffee on the ferry, by the way? 🛳☕ Rich, asking Ewa what's on the menu is definitely the way to go! Can't wait to see what culinary delights you two whip up next. Rich, avocado and onion for dinner? I can't wait to see how that turns out! 🥑🧅😂 Rich, red squirrels... seriously? I hope there's some footage of them because I've never seen or heard of a red squirrel before. 🐿📹 I went on Google to get more details about the place you're traveling to. The Isle of Wight sounds incredible! Beaches, vintage beach huts, dinosaur fossils, and those iconic Needles - it all sounds so dreamy! 🌊🦖🏝 Here are some must-see free Isle of Wight sights for you and Ewa: - Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary - The Sir Max Aitken Museum - Northwood Park - The Garlic Farm - Coastal walks - Brighstone Museum - Quarr Abbey - The Needles headland walk The campsite looks huge and the grass is so green! The benches at Freshwater Bay look so inviting. I can just imagine you and Ewa sitting there, enjoying a breathtaking sunset. 🌅 Ewa, you go girl! The admirer on the bicycle. . Rich, what was going through your mind in the distance at that moment? While watching this video, I realized it doesn't seem like there's much traffic where you were driving. 🚗✨ Rich, about the FlexTail - I think, putting it outside on a separate video by a "disgusting place" where flies and mosquitoes are having a party would be the ultimate test to see if it really works as claimed. 🦟🦗 Love the cook setup with the Firemaple! It looks similar to the Trangia you used. Just wondering, do the air holes on the Firemaple make it use more fuel in windy situations? The pot and pan grip looks big and uncomfortable - how was it to use and clean? Thanks for another fantastic adventure, guys! Can't wait for the next one. 🌍✨
Hi, the ferry is only about £30 but it’s a short way off of the mainland. Coffee on the ferry is expensive so don’t worry until you get off. We didn’t get to see any red squirrel this time but I promise you they are there! Fire maple was great to use, it’s a much cheaper option to trangia but it is a bit bigger to carry
I like watching Adam Riemann, too. Glad Ewa seems to enjoy him as well. Cool, that you were out on another camping trip. Seems like I really have to get on one now, too. Just want to do it with someone else but my best friend is not a camping guy and I don´t really know other bikers. So probably have to look for some solo camping tips on UA-cam. Tomorrow we will do our first trip together, though. I still need to pamper the 1300 until the first service but we will do a 390km/240mile ride tomorrow. We will practice a couple of weekends now until we go for our 7 day trip from southern Germany to Tuscany and back at the beginning of August. Mainly trying if our intended daily trips are not too much or too little and how well Calimoto and the intercom work. Plus tomorrow we should get 32°C. Good test for my new riding gear and if it is a wise idea to use it in Italy as well.
@ontheroadadventure at least I have learned about quilts already 🤣. And that MSR tents seem to be indestructible 😁. But on a serious note: yes, your videos help a lot. I'm really interested in how the firemaple stuff will do.
We really rate the fire maple stuff, the trangia is good to as a perfect all rounder all though more expensive. We have always promised that we will never market crap, if its crap we either wont feature it or we will tell you its crap

Hi both, lovely place great childhood memories ( 66 now omg) you’ve racked up some miles lately. Do you service the bikes yourselves or a dealer. How are the bikes holding up. I know u getting married but is ewa getting maternal. Werent u the same rich as a kid
Yeah we do get through the miles! 22k last year. Ewa’s bike is under warranty so she has to go to the dealer. Mine is not so I can do the servicing myself unless it’s valves then I take it to the pros
What a coincidence for I was sat opposite the Lymington ferry terminal on the quayside today enjoying an early lunch before heading off to Swanage. Incidentally on my way to Lymington on my trusty Honda NC750 (I decided to use it instead of the ZZR1400) it returned 108mpg. Staggering. I ended up doing 340 miles and on the way back I dropped in to what I reckon must be the biggest bike night of the year, at Cassington near Oxford. There were literally thousands of bikes there.
@@ontheroadadventure Never mid the wallet, I make sure I bring a flask for those necessary stops. Ironically I find the ZZR way more comfortable for long-haul trips on the motorway. If it's really hot I park the bike at Lymington ferry terminal and go across as a foot passenger.
