Is there anything to help waterproof under the tiles near the sink and stove? I'd be worried about it getting under the tiles and causing water damage if it wasnt sealed tight enough, from something like dishwater or spilling a pot of water/other liquid from the stove on accident.
I always wonder who actually rents the retro vibe when I buy it and can ensure the quality it’s cute but as a renter I hate it cause stuff breaks and when it does landlords act like it’s the end of the world cause it was old which is exactly why it broke so easy anyway.. 😩

If you haven't stuck the tiles down yet, consider laying them on a 45° angle. It will give the illusion of a larger room.
