Basically, when asked about why they focus so heavily on these really bizarre, and often terrible movies, his answer was that they provided an opportunity for new film makers to get a grip on how movies are actually made, and to help give people entering the industry of film making, and VFX work, a shot at an entry level position working on a movie that will actually be released to the public so they can get some experience. These movies are often shot very quickly, and very cheaply, but it gives people who have never worked on a full production the chance to do just that. The crazy thing is, that the director of this film actually has over 350 stunt credits to his name with some actually notable movies in all of that direct to dvd pile of mentions. I would really love to know more about these people behind the asylum films or whatever Steven segal puts out

I love the 'speedometer' with the face damage from cutting off the follow-up needle, but the hub is still there. Had anyone tried, the needles can be pulled off and reinstalled. Spared no expense.
Well, I was not surprised for the fact that "200 MPH" was from The Asylum, the same company infamous for Sharknado as well as their laughable mockbusters.
This must be when they were still sort of trying to make decent movies and hadn't realized yet that the less effort they put in the more money they make.
Would love to see Justin get his own show! Since he seemed so into this maybe cars in movies/media?! Would be different from Wheel House or D-List since those are usually history and development..... He just seems like such a sweet guy I'm excited for him to get some more screen time!

Great review! James, you're hilarious! Love the content. Gotta let Justin talk more though! This is his favourite movie and he could barely get a word in! You could see the passion in his eyes about this masterpiece!
Still definitely looking forward to see the strange world of Cars(movie) that you were possibly talking about doing in video of mechanics checking out the bad car lines in movies.

I love the fact that when someone decides to do a car movie but the just make shit up 😂 they must know that the only people watching it is people interested in cars and probably know some shit about it
If you think about it, the need for speed movie has a storyline which does draw parallels to this movie 😂. A dear one dies in a crash while racing, you find a new car in the path of avenging the fallen but just before the mighty race it gets totalled by a truck with the girlfriend ending up in the hospital, and you show up to the race with a car previously thought of as wiped from the face of the earth and sacrifice winning the race for saving the rival. Dude the need for speed writer surely took inspiration from “200mph”. Am I the only one noticing this?????
The dude who plays that cop was also in the Syfy movie Mega Piranha. Incredibly bad but fun as hell. There's also a car chase where they use like 11 different cars to represent 2
The absolute best part of this one is Justin just sitting there with an epic confident grin and nodding in agreement. The smile on his face when Nolan said he liked it! Priceless. Too fun.
I never laughed so hard on your channel.😂😂😂 So why did KC pushed them into traffic when he wants that car? Also he went from Pink Slips to Human Trafficking in a blink of an eye lol

At first I wondered who was capable of making a movie this bad. But when I looked up to see it was made by "The Asylum" . This explains absolutely everything XD
The FC or the “MX-5” 😂 was cleaner before they painted it green 😂 Edit: And clearly they didn’t do every mod possible to it, because a stock NA FC can hit 130mph top speed, so for it to only be doing 30 mph more even with nos, it’s clearly not modified very much 😂

Lmao yes. I just watched this movie bout a month ago remembering it after the real mechanic video you guys made. Hilarious. Maybe in the beginning they were using the GTR stats instead of 370z which seemed to be pretty accurate to that? But then they had to give gtr to the bad guy drug dealer lol idk. Yeah dude, I was thinking the same with the laptop. I’m not a fan of, James. Would prefer to see and hear less of him. Let the other guys take the lead for a change.
I totally agree. The whole episode was so awkward with James hogging the laptop and Justin just being left to sit at the end. Justin is being criminally underutilised by DM and I'm left wondering why they hired him cos they're not giving him the good projects.
What if I told you that there are car movies BEFORE The Fast and The Furious... and they are actually pretty good. This is the type of movie you'd be watching in a hotel room on a cloudy Thursday afternoon just before you go out to eat at a local restaurant
@@PlexyFresh your comment feels like a 95's movie scene! 🤔
@@itsmidorabie I watched some kind of TV segment where Mario Lopez talked about trending new movies in a hotel room when I went to Branson. It was a cloudy Thursday afternoon and my family and I went to a local restaurant. This movie feels like something Mario Lopez would talk about on that segment.
You did not just call this a masterpiece. I’d love to find out what you deem unacceptable
When you talked about their worries of the car "flying away" that made me remember when the Mercedes CLR took flight during Le Mans
As I remember was a Porshe car who flought, after that race they put front canards to prevent it
@@matthewmondragon2074 That might have been another flying car incident. Look up "mercedes clr flip" and you'll see it
IIRC correctly, Mark Webber had the 'misfortune' to have flipped twice!
@@matthewmondragon2074 it's actually a shockingly common thing I know a camaro got air born at a drag strip.
@@andrewyork3869 Many years ago I hit 175 mph on a 2 lane highway in a 1970 z28. I had to let off due to the front end stating to float.
The cgi is nothing short of hilarious. It looks like they take a still image of the car and move it in some kind of animation program they got for $30 at Office Depot.
I need to watch this while tripping. I bet it’ll be a blast.
lemme tell you, watching this while i was high was some of the funniest shii i’ve ever experienced. shrooms’ll probo be even better!
My man. Watch 3 hours till dead if you need something to watch when you're highhhh. Low budget zombie movie, it's horribly good though.
The crazy thing is, that the director of this film actually has over 350 stunt credits to his name with some actually notable movies in all of that direct to dvd pile of mentions. I would really love to know more about these people behind the asylum films or whatever Steven segal puts out
Watched that film some years ago. Hell, was I embarrassed for even watching it!
There are a ton more of these Mistakes, like apparently, they ran out of footage. So they mirrored some of the scenes in the race - You can even see it when looking at the license plates 😂
The RX-7 was never recovered, either. It either wound up in a shipping container, headed for Southeast Asia, or, it was chopped.
Plot twist - Donut Media stole it just coz the movie was bad
Nah, it did return after finding itself and getting a makeover. In Tokyo Drift. Ended up blowing up there though, as we all know.
I watched this once. After that, I was never able to find it again. I genuinely was starting to believe it never existed and I just went crazy because I only saw bits of it. But it's real. It's real, and it's just as bad as I remember it
HAH! GOTCHA!! NOPE WAS NEVER REAL. WE ALL GOT TOGETHER&THEY MADE THIS VIDEO&CUTS FROM THE 'MOVIE', PAID A BUNCH OF PEOPKE TO COMMENT ON IT, JUST TO MAKE YOU THINK THIS WAS REAL MOVIE THAT YOU THOUGHT YOUVE SEEN BEFORE!! This prank has been years in the making. Using subtle psychological manipulation to make you build this whole movie inside your head, &think it's real, but never be able to find it anywhere. Then get them to release this video&get everyone to comment from when it was released, until now.
@@halvorson566 this is gold! Hahaa
I'm watching it right now on Tubi.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
6:40 who needs Adrian Newey when you have the magic mechanic 😂
“Just go down to the dealer they’ll give you the parts” was the funniest part of the whole video 😂
I love the 'speedometer' with the face damage from cutting off the follow-up needle, but the hub is still there. Had anyone tried, the needles can be pulled off and reinstalled. Spared no expense.
Even the cliff notes of this one are a big, deep pile of crazy
11:44 you can totally tell it’s a air pressure gauge here bc it jumps from 155psi (mph) to 165psi (mph) in a split second. Thats not a car 😂
Well, I was not surprised for the fact that "200 MPH" was from The Asylum, the same company infamous for Sharknado as well as their laughable mockbusters.
I found most of their $1 scripts and z-list acting unwatchable most of the time and avoid their movies now.
This must be when they were still sort of trying to make decent movies and hadn't realized yet that the less effort they put in the more money they make.
I almost forgot about sharknado…. Thanks for reminding me of that cinema masterpiece
this movie mainly feels like it got a nissan sponsorship to pay the bills for the studio
@@SpencerLemay This is honestly worse than the Sharknado movies.
Would love to see Justin get his own show! Since he seemed so into this maybe cars in movies/media?! Would be different from Wheel House or D-List since those are usually history and development..... He just seems like such a sweet guy I'm excited for him to get some more screen time!
agreed
I watched this as a kid and I thought that they're so badass and the cars are so cool. I was so damn wrong, holy crap
I dont care what age you are... WTH dude?
🤣I thought the exact same thing lol.
The cars are cool though.370z,fc rx7,s14 silvia, gtr, the challenger and some other cars that only appeared at the background during start of the race
@@daddygaming6824 whats a sleeper?
@@tupaiterbang9152 yeah right. I meant informations about the cars. My bad
The absolute best part of the whole thing is how deadpan the guy just throws in that he landed in a pile of shit 😂 like bro you didn’t even have to tell anyone that part😂😂
Great review! James, you're hilarious! Love the content. Gotta let Justin talk more though! This is his favourite movie and he could barely get a word in! You could see the passion in his eyes about this masterpiece!
Yeah, I was thinking this too - like shut up for one second, James and let Justin talk.
And on Juneteenth. SMH 😔
Yeah Donut Media is asking for backlash on this one
Justin is chocolate Mike Finnagen and it's fricken amazing
@@DarmoKotze They are already asking for backlash since years ago.
“Or they thought it was a Miata the whole time.”!!! Lmao that’s hilarious, I’ll choose to believe this is what they actually thought
@Putin Runs the GOP Well one is :D and tbh, how much is actually different on the MX5 and RX7 front end? Not a lot :P
You guys have single handedly increased the views of 200mph to almost 2 million on UA-cam! Donut Media just became a movie marketing platform!
NOLAN seems like the type of guy you love to hang out with, so funny so chill 😅😅😅 love Donut watched all the videos
Justin and Nolan are like the same person just in different flavours.
Different colors
Different taste
@@dominikivanyi2533 cool PFP.
Still definitely looking forward to see the strange world of Cars(movie) that you were possibly talking about doing in video of mechanics checking out the bad car lines in movies.
Yess, agreed.
6:20 - A coworker of mine draws that bad and used to hang them up on the wall at work and unironically said he'd send them to Chip Foose and maybe get a job. An adult!
The air pressure gauge got me rolling on the floor.
I love the fact that when someone decides to do a car movie but the just make shit up 😂 they must know that the only people watching it is people interested in cars and probably know some shit about it
😂😂😂
Just like fast and furious
The drawings of the car were like something I did bored on holiday aged 10...I reckon that was 100% the director's kid 👍
We need to know about more of these. I loved watching it and then your review after. Too good
Needs to be longer, its hilarious. Film the next one like a reaction channel and go nuts.
Priceless. Too fun.
That 3 second Z doe. -Edgar
3:56 [Wet Squelching]
I never laughed so hard on your channel.😂😂😂
So why did KC pushed them into traffic when he wants that car? Also he went from Pink Slips to Human Trafficking in a blink of an eye lol
Has to be the best review of this film I have seen, I watched it and I was confused when the car went from an RX7 to a Nissan and I am glad you cleared that one up, but remember do not put Giggle Juice on a car it may fly away and drop you in a great pile, but if you have a 5 point you may be able to land it .
"Giggle juice" bruh please im dying already, don't accelerate it lol
Crazy how they're doing so many modifications for 160mph meanwhile the R35 has a theoretical top speed of 195mph stock
That's to clock that last 5 for the titular speed.
Haven’t seen the movie. But I bet this video is as entertaining as it has ever gotten
At first I wondered who was capable of making a movie this bad. But when I looked up to see it was made by "The Asylum" . This explains absolutely everything XD
its just me or at 8:17 it looks like it’s from NFS MW
I love the part where they literally pan to a shot of a PRESSURE GAUGE with a stick on label acting as the speed o meater
i love the part where you spell speedometer
"Speed o MEATer"
@@metallicarabbit plot twist : speed o meater is what you use to measure the speed of a body flying into a pile of sh*t
Speed o meater
@@KrakenIsland64 Oh, so that's how he knew his RX-7 was doing 140.
James made laugh so hard I spit out my orange chicken when he was explaining the flying nitrous Miata crash😂😂😂
The FC or the “MX-5” 😂 was cleaner before they painted it green 😂
Edit: And clearly they didn’t do every mod possible to it, because a stock NA FC can hit 130mph top speed, so for it to only be doing 30 mph more even with nos, it’s clearly not modified very much 😂
Indeed, Racing Beat went 238mph in 1986 in an FC a mere 35+ years ago :P
@@jolieriskin4446 vesper they said every mod made for it, refering to off the shelf stuff which is not going to make a n/a fc go 160, it takes alot of power to hit 200+ and definately forced induction like a turbo or nitrous. I bet the fc that went 238 wasnt much stock parts left.
@@nintendogamer5472 okay nintendo gamer lmfao
@@LandonClimbs I mean he's not wrong. But in that same argument, if yaint done forced induction, you haven't done everything. Hell, just make it superturbo. If Nissan did it to the march/micra, the RX7 can take it right?
"0-60 in 3.5 seconds" in a 370Z? That's either wrong, or the car has been tuned, or both.
Tuned wrong... works for a couple of times.. then it just destroys itself...
@@KayoMichiels only possible when you swap the engine...... And lighten the car.

@@KayoMichiels my ls1 camaro spanks nismo 370 z's and mine is like 5 seconds 0-60, no way a 370 does it, no amount of tuning is going to do it. it would need a turbo , 2step and slicks. those are the specs on the gtr.
Glad to see Nolan still part of the crew! Any update on the next wheelhouse?
This entire movie sounded familiar, even the plot. There is an older movie that plays out exactly like this. Brother did a race, pinks, died, showed up at the funeral, little brother got a car, and won the race.
Well there's a movie just like Fast and Furious and it's called Point Break
This was 2 weeks ago after you showed a clip.
"James and Jarrod please please please do a complete breakdown of the 200mph movie. Omg a CGI wrecked car in a garage? I just watched it after your video.lol thanks for the content"
Thanks guys!
To be fair, they could do an hour-long video breaking down the mom's storyline alone. Just amazing acting and the completely unnecessary plot twist of their mom being a stripper/cocktail waitress. This movie is just *muah* chef's kiss!
What plot twist we talkin bout here , we knew their mom is stripper from the begening of the movie XD
I seriously haven't laughed this hard in a long time. I mean, it's so ridiculous that you just have to laugh instead of cringe. 😂😂😂
You guys with the commentary was over the top. Thanks for the laugh boys. 😂
It’s Been awhile since I’ve laughed at the car movie and this video was golden the narrative, inaccuracies and hacks were gloriously shameless and animations were on point
James ur the most funniest presenter in yt i've ever seen. Love ya n keep up. You too nolan n justin.
Yes! I wanted you guys to do this. I mentioned it when you did their last video. I actually watched this whole movie. It was painful. I love 🍩 media!
Justin has done really well since joining the Donut team. I really enjoy the videos he's in!
Agreed, at first i wasn't too sure about him, but he def adds some good vibes to the videos, he's a good dude!

200 mph, the movie where noone goes even close to 200 mph.
and car got stolen? i genuinely expected it to not be available because someones mom borrowed it to buy milk and they could not wait.
Yea the car got stolen. Lol
2:45 I think the original script must have had an R35 GT-R, but they couldn't source one so they settled for a 370Z and didn't change the script at all. Those are all original R35 GT-R stats
How did I ever miss out on this cinematic masterpiece. Move over Gone with the Wind, you've been replaced.
Whole thing funny af tho
The CGI at 12:42 LMAO. How did they not call that out
The plans Kelly lays out at 6:08 I'm dead 🤣🤣😂
These look like a Kid drew it.
All I remember about this movie and is the chick says some line like “do I know my ground effects or what” talking about its pace and I had to turn the tv off and leave the room. Please don’t make me relive that.
It's settled. You guys have no choice but to parody this parody!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Air pressure gauge @11:55? in what unit? I don't think they run 200psi boost... isn't that an oil pressure gauge?
Thank you, for not having to watch that . That's 90 minutes of my life that I could not get back.
Hollywood please stop having non-car people write scripts. Car people watch movies like this and tear them apart. Bet this masterpiece was released straight to video.
Can’t tell if you’re trolling or if you really think this came from Hollywood…
This wasn't a Hollywood film. This was an Asylum film. It is overly generous to assume actual human people wrote the script.
Straight to the DVD pile at Walmart
I lost it at the car drawings! 😂
One of those would be the Pumphrey 502
Give Justin his own show on the channel! I also think it would be smarter to have the computer in the middle if y’all are gonna make another video reacting to stuff like this. Just my thoughts as a long time viewer of this channel.
Agree
Yeah
Yeah dude, I was thinking the same with the laptop. I’m not a fan of, James. Would prefer to see and hear less of him. Let the other guys take the lead for a change.
Me too he look like out of place
I totally agree. The whole episode was so awkward with James hogging the laptop and Justin just being left to sit at the end. Justin is being criminally underutilised by DM and I'm left wondering why they hired him cos they're not giving him the good projects.
What if I told you that there are car movies BEFORE The Fast and The Furious... and they are actually pretty good. Shuto kōsoku Trial ones are amazingly good, all 1988's and early 90s JDM Glory, Skylines and all.
No, really, watch them all if you can. Those are amazing time pieces of the era, watching an R32 being sold at a dealer, brand new as the new hottest thing.
It's a great saga! I always comment with shuto kousoku on every car video. It's just pure and the atmosphere is great.
I would say YO MOMMA is the hottest thang.
Bullet, Gone in 60 Seconds ( the original) are great too.
"you can't shoot him they'll know it was a gun!" 😂😂😂😂😂
There is also Getaway from 2013 which has a 3% on RT
I love the fact that Justin knows the movie Line by Line 😆
Ahh yes James babysitting his son and Justine
Holy shit, I remember watching this movie when I was a kid. I enjoyed the movie back then but watching now shows how bad it is. But sometimes a movie is so bad that it’s actually good and it brought back some memories
I'm in tears at the MPH label on air pressure gauge 🤣😂🤣😂😂😂
