600 dB is not a 4 times louder. Decibels are logaritmic, so if train horn with 120 dB has to be 4 times louder, then it will have only aprox. 127 dB.

So what is the conversion? Like how does 7 more db = 4x the value of 120?
Someone did some rough calculations for a 600dB air horn (might even be this model) on Reddit, and an actual 600dB sound might contain enough energy to destroy the universe.

A roughly double increase of decibels is 3db for reference.
To make an audio system twice as loud you normally need twice the drivers ( speakers ) and four times the amplification.
Since 194db is the loudest possible before ripping the air apart, horn might not be 600dB

Around 28,000,000,000 peta-pascals. The resulting air compression temperature during this universe destroying eruption of this horn would be 2.3e22 degrees Celsius... Logarithmic scales are some serious shit. I did not come up with these number so I cannot speak to the accuracy, reddit scientists did.

I bought the hoodie for my shifter about 6 months ago (6 speed manual) and it brings me great joy. I cannot have a bad day when I get into my car and snicker while shifting. It also does not interfere with my shift knob at all (Mustang GT). As for “the women liking it” my wife rolled her eyes when I opened it in the mail but she never fails to fix it if the arms fall out of the pocket.
You just convinced me to buy one for myself 23 Tacoma Offroad. Gonna be shifting in style now

I love mine for the same reason you do but also that i can put the hood up or down so when that billet gets freezing cold or hotter than the sun, it helps!

600dBA would literally shatter the earth. The loudest sound possible in air is about 190
Most volcanic eruptions are in the 200s. Krakatoa was about 300 iirc. 194 is the highest possible without breaking apart air molecules, but it's certainly possible to go higher.

My first thought about seeing the little hoodie is if your manual knob is metal, you sometimes want a barrier between your hand and the knob. Whether that's driving gloves, the hoodie, or an alternative method. Or buying a non-metal knob. Either way, they're adorable and when they work, it's a plus. certainly cheaper than a lot of shift knob replacements!

I’ve been using the hoodie daily since Christmas when my mother-in-law gave it to me, and it helps so much with the cold on my carbon shifter, can’t wait to test it out in the summer!! Still holds up great even in the wash!!
You gotta size those sun umbrellas. I actually use two. I have one for the car and i have a massive one for a truck that covers an arched window I have in my office when it's too bright.
Also! That extendable squeegee is cool for people with accessibility issues. A lot of weird, seemingly niche products seem dumb until you think of it from that perspective.
Yeah my sun umbrella is a life saver living in Florida, perfect size for my compact sedan and gets held up perfectly with the sun visors
Yeah but the disability thing is usually just a side effect and not the intended reason those things are created. It's like all that made for TV stuff has a lot of uses for those with disabilities but none of it was ever really intended for that use.

@noodlelynoodle. Yes! Just like snugglies were originally made for those in wheel chairs. Being able to mass produce a product helps lower the price overall.
The little squeegee is actually incredibly helpful on semi trucks and busses on cold or wet mornings to get the wet off of them when the mirrors are a mile away from you. Definitely not in a regular vehicle though lol.
Yup, I've got one in my truck and it's fantastic when it's raining or I have to drive through a tire wash that sprays my windows and mirrors.
Get Glaco Mirrorcoat and you wont need it.
I never thought about cleaning mirrors because my VW golf has heated mirrors, they sort themselves out.

It could also help people who aren't able to easily get in and out or move around outside their vehicle. A lot of these cheap direct-to-consumer marketed products that don't seem to be solving a real problem are intended for use by people with disabilities, but they can't advertise them as medical devices without falling under the regulations of the FDA. It's much easier to just create a black and white scene of an old guy doing a slapstick routine and the people they're trying to reach will understand that it will be helpful for them.

Hey editors, need to boost the contrast or lower black levels to match the background, and use a magenta filter for the key to not have that gross green spill on the necks, sides of the face, and under the hats. In some programs it's called "Spill suppression" and I think you forgot to use it this time.

I bought the shade umbrella from Amazon, also made sure I checked the measurements, and it works great. It's a bit difficult to open up and around the infotainment but fits and works well, 2 years old now

Probably will be okay for slide sleeping if you added some memory foam padding because you're definitely bottoming out through it without extra padding. Twin size mattress pads are generally not that expensive.
I have the umbrella thing, and for my hyundai i10 it's perfect. Take me seconds to apply, and seconds to fold, the best sun screen I have ever used. Others just bulky, taking too much space, and always move your rear view mirror.

8:41 Guys. Never cut financial corners when it comes to anything meant to do its job staying between you & the ground. Some of we (& sometimes not so short) car living folk use blankets, bags of clothing, foam or already have a platform to support a regular small sleeping pad.

The sun shade is the best. In my 4Runner, the haz button is right in the center and I put a magnet there for my phone. The shaft of the sunshade umbrella goes right over the magnet and holds it in place. It’s so perfect.
I have one of those sunshade umbrella things from Amazon. It's works pretty well! 2 things to keep in mind. 1 - yea it needs to fit your front window and 2 be careful with the handle/shaft. If the handle is resting on any part of your dashboard it will leave a mark/indentation.
I want the hoodie. Be perfect for hot steel shifters.

12:10 There are aftermarket radio head units with CarPlay built in. With that said some of them only connect with the charging cable but there are some bluetooth ones out there. I put one of the units with the cable setup in my 2006 Subaru Outback that I had a view years back.

I have one of those screens in my 2001 Blazer. It's actually really good. A little slow, but it's got a dashcam built in and uses FM transmission. Definitely a good option if you're on a budget and have an older whip.

I’ve been using the window shade on my truck for 2 years now and it’s amazing. The one you bought is cheaply made and not the right size. It’s easy to put up and take down compared to those disks you have to fold each time

I will say, that leak-proof trash bag thing would be super nice to have as a makeup artist on set. It would totally fit sponges, q-tips, tissues, etc. Way better than taping a whole trash bag to a table, especially if you're working in a small space or outdoors. Might have to get one.
We have one of those windshield umbrella things for each of our cars and they are great, we ofc don’t have the TikTok one but ours are a little bigger and are held up by putting the sun visor down, recommend looking into it

For the umbrella windshield thing, i own one and you should open the sun visors to cover the rest of the windshield and to hold it in place. It works really well for me that way
I bought one of the shift knob hoodies for my car (metal shift knob) for the winter because it gets so cold. Better than the glove I kept losing. And it actually helps.
Just for reference on how insane "600db" is, sound effectively becomes "twice as loud" every 10db. A jackhammer is 130db. Firearms are less than 140db. Anything past 194db is no longer sound, but instead what is essentially a shockwave. That being said, a 600db horn would be a comical shockwave canon I would use in most video games.

I've had the windshield umbrella for about 2yrs now. Love it for the hot Florida days. It deploys easily. WILL cover the entire windshield if you get the right size. And packs up as small as an umbrella. Much Better than a typical sunshade in my opinion.
I have one of those sunshades for my 2013 focus, and it's great. Fits across the whole windshield and definitely keeps it cooler.
