- Hogwarts Legacy is a great game with a lot of flaws. Taking a 9.5 to an 8.5 may not seem like much, but let's dive in and see if we can figure out what can make a game so annoying.

I could not agree more.
I love this game, I did 100% everything... (on ONE character, f*ck those achievements where you have to play ALL houses until a certain point in the story) and I only do this for games I truly love, yet I could not find a single point you mentioned I would disagree on. Especially your final point with the locked mission is just terrible. While I personally didn't enjoy that quest, I can see how people consider it the best in the game because it IS special. Having it and the feature of the own shop (which DOES have a benefit: You can sell your items for more money than on any other shop) taken away for everyone who does not own or does not want to play on Playstation is very customer unfriendly.
Every point I kind of have to agree on. There is a lot of busywork that could be solved with just a few little adjustments. (Or achievements being removed).
Why do I have to play about 4 hours of the game 4 times if I want all achievements. Its the only thing missing for the platinum trophy, and I just cannot be bothered to do it.
Im new but have you done retrospective on Metel gear solid or syphon filter if you have played
Majority of the biff at HL was coming from PC community because of the horendous and bad optimization the developer had on PC. Nevermind the occasional bugs, but 40 FPS in certain location running on mid tier PC rig that is 10x more powerful than PS5 hardware is really unacceptable imo

Is there only AAA and indie? I’ve only heard people say these two. Are there tiers in between? Like A? Or AA?
Yeah, AA games would be those who aren't made by like Nintendo, EA, or Ubisoft, but still have a publisher. They used to be released at a cheaper price, like $10-20 under the standard, but now they're usually full price.
Some examples recently would be Kao the Kangaroo, Temtem, Cult of the Lamb (and most Devolver Digital games), and Evil West.

There's a LOT of AA games.
Stray; Plague Tale; Metro Exodus; Payday 3; Deep Rock Galactic; Dave the diver; Snowrunner; Mudrunner; Disco Elysium; The Surge; And many more.
There's also Star Citizen, which is kind of a AAAA. But it wil never actually come out.
@@justbny9278 They're stronger than ever. I think the biggest once coming out is payday 3 and that will make a lot of noise.

I personally liked hogwarts legacy it was a really good game and personally my favorite game in this franchise in a very long time at least in my opinion.
