I'm just now playing this game in 2024, I always wanted to play it along with ratchet and clank going mobile. These two games severely need a port to Playstation. The graphics and animation are absolutely spot on. It feels like the full sized games. So far, the 1st boss on GOW is giving me hell on the up down left right minigame part because I'm using a Java emulator on my phone, and there is no hectic feedback to let me know I'm hitting a button or the wrong button. I've died about 10 times here. I just resized the buttons to arrows only. I think I can win it this time.
I had no idea this game existed. Though I have to admit I just don't really see a God of War game being designed in mind of a mobile device. God of War is exclusively a PlayStation owned property. If I get a Cell Phone, I might try it out. Still though, very nice to have you back talking about God of War again. For many years I've owned a PS4, I've been waiting for a remaster of God of War 1&2. They never came unfortunately and Sony had no real problem remastering 3 on PS4. There's probably alot of people who switched from Xbox to PlayStation that's never going to experience the other 2 games prior to 3. I like God of War 2 out of the entire series. This may happen though if Sony gets major feedback. Capcom's doing the same with the RE series. They're still continuing the story while remaking the older RE games from the ground up. They were successful in RE remake and RE2 remake. So the answer is obvious. Continue the Story line of the God of War series while doing a built from the ground remake of the older God of War games. Mainly the Original God of War. Rework the areas around additional gameplay features, have remixed difficulty modes, extra content to add replayability, but more importantly, take the original story, modernize it, and add additional stakes to make it more diear. They may not benefit from the original God of War games anymore, but a remake has more potential. Whether it's just a remaster or a remake, Sony at least needs to do something with the older games to keep fans happy. I had original plans to fund money for a project on Kickstarter to send to Sony for a built from the ground remake or reimagining of the OG God of War. But I had just created the account and it says I need an ID and money from my account. So I can't do it. But I have other options. You like talking about God of War as much as me. You don't have to if you don't want to. This is your channel. But you're the best UA-camr when it comes to God of War. Can't think of any one better than you. I'm just someone who doesn't want the older games to go, get left to death to rot, or be forgotten about. They deserve as much attention as other games do. This is if you feel the OG God of War games need to be remade. What do you think?
I definitely agree that the God of War games need a remake, especially since the PS5 isn't backwards compatible with the PS3, meaning the Saga and Ascension still aren't playable ok a modern console. That said, you shouldn't really start a Kickstarter without experience in the industry, a viable product, or the rights to the franchise. If you wanted to, I'd suggest going the route of a petition on something like Change.org. Glad you enjoyed the video!
