RIP JJ Jackson. What a great interview. He made guests feel such at ease. He asked pressing questions but wasn't obnoxious about it. I miss the original format of MTV and the VJs.

Jonesy is so modest and brilliantly dry witted. He's a delightful interviewee here. Someone famous that you wouldn't actually mind spending time with. The interviewer JJ Jackson seems genuinely nice as well. This cheered me up!

He impressed me when he interviewed Frank Zappa because you saw a different side of Frank as he seemed to really respect JJ and didn't treat him like a know-nothing as he did a lot. They had an actual conversation.

Whenever I see JJ Jackson, I always wonder why he wasn't bigger. The guy knows his stuff and is so personable. You can tell the artists really enjoy talking to him.

So chopped up, one question, maybe two, them break. Best line ever, 'There is no 'Led Zeppelin'. He's spot on. Everyone wanted another tour, but the band died with John Bonham. They put Jason on drums and did one fantastic concert, but it still wasn't Led Zep. That was an era, a time when the music was new, they were young and most of the fans were young, but you can't go back. I'm grateful the question has died down now that they've gotten so old, but it hounded them for years.

But at the same time imho I respect Jonesy even more because of that. He is right. Bonzo was no longer with us. Meaning no Zeppelin. That's how much the quartet loved each other.

That JJ Jackson didnt read the songwriting credits on the albums at the very least 4:02 (JPJ was an integral part of many LZ songs and classics) is astonishing for an interviewer.

Jonesy still seemed a little bitter? Very dry. Tells it like it is. "Garbage". He definitely did not like that book.
