I was playing the Medieval Kingdoms 1212 A.D. mod for Attila, when War of Kings came on. I didn't know which song it was, but after listening to this, it is among the best Total War songs in my opinion! WHAT A BANGER. Medieval 2 is still my favorite TW game.
Yea all 3 main battle tracks, War of Kings, Nothing Left and Crusaders are in a league of their own. Valley of Death and Lifted on the Hotplate are great too. Stainless Steel compiled Med1 tracks into the game too. Still the best mod out there imo.

There are a lot of spanish vibes and sounds in this soundtrack. It reflects so well the importance of the Spanish Empire all arround Europe in Medieval Ages.

Black Garden remains one of the best defeat themes in the Total War series. Maybe even the best one.

Shame on Sega & CA for not getting Jeff Van Dyck to compose ALL for the Total War games! Especially Rome 2! Jesus Christ the other guy's music is absolutely nonexistent compared to this Godly sound.
As a general rule, TW games composed by him are better
CA has done everything in its power to distance themselves from their past excellence in the RTS Historical gaming genre and its fanbase, so why not sack Jeff? They canned their quality and self-respect a long time ago.
And JVD moved on to bigger and better things.

MTW2 это формы. стиль. с глобальной карти не хотелось уходить. реально и воевать не хотелось - хотелось жить и следить как пополняется казна.
в бою от Destiny - (я на всегда запомню эти бассы и ту булаву) хотелось взять своего коня и разбить кому нибудь голову. у рыцарей были треугольные головы из за графики но выглядели они чертовски злобно.

There is also one video on YT with full Medieval II Total War + Kingdoms soundtrack and exactly the same part like here is missed. So I hope someone manage to do upload everything.
