They’re already here..
I laughed out hysterically because of this, good job xD
2 hours in my first game, and my kingdom has already broken into civil war. This game is awesome.
Me. Honestly skiping the tutorial thinking i know how to play then 10 minutes in and already dissolved the holy to man empire
Promises fulfilled.
I blew up the HRE in my first 10 minutes. God was not with the Kaiser that time...
2 hours? ROOKIE NUMBERS I had 25 minutes lol ._.
start pressing some buttons, any buttons
that's what i did after i skipped the tutorial😆
The 48 dislikes have created a faction against ck2

The faction has been disbanded

I have to say that adding these soundtrack videos was a great cultural deed.
I have you.
By far the most nostalgic game with the best soundtrack I've ever played
True, ck3 didnt filled his shoes
I will back whichever king that plots to assassinate that one disliker

While playing EU4.

***** I disagree. While CK2 is good, listen to "The End of an Era" and "The Stage is Set"
Roman BV -15: heretic
Usually I mute the music for many games, but for Crusader Kings 2 it really is fantastic to listen to, even when your not playing the game :D
This is so much better than CKIII's soundtrack. I listen to this when I play CKIII.
CK2 is better than CK3 in any way

The soundtrack injects a soul into the game.
i dont play the games my sons used to.. i think that the music is awsome ..and i feel majestic riding into battle ...the music sweeps you away and you feel feelings ..you cant imagine .. i close my eyes and i am ..there with my army .....fighting for freedom conqering new lands all the soundtracks are magnificant ...❤️
Just the fact that Andreas Waldetoft composed both this and the Stellaris soundtrack demonstrates what a god tier composer he is
Companies worth 100 times what Paradox is still failing to even come close to the level of gameplay that Paradox produces. The music in this game is absolutely 10/10, like all of their games. A friend of mine said they actually play CK2 in one of their lectures to learn history. Anyway, keep it up Paradox, love your games, love your business model, hope you do well and aren't bought out in the end, you have a huge chunk of players that worship you.
Also, can you add an option to newer versions of games where you can enable the old soundtrack? I got the newest CK2 DLC and I would love to play the old soundtrack on it. Thanks!
What school is he at?
i disagree , hoi4 and stellaris are bare minimums compared to eu4 and ck2
I don't think so. There are more impressive games I've played such as skyrim where you can enjoy various contents.
'The witcher' and 'Tomb raider' are also deserved to be named as
the most well - made games in the world.

Ck2 is probably my favorite game of all time. I still play it sometimes despite not really playing video games anymore
All the songs of this smart, realistic and awesome game are really beautiful and gives a good medieval atmosphere! ;)
[01:08:19] Horns of Hattin and the Aftermath looove ^^
1:01:22 Let's get some work done
1:11:33 Best part of the Aftermath.
Indeed. That Aftermath strikes a pious chord even in an atheist's heart.
yeah the aftermath part is the best part
Aftermath is great. No matter what kind of crazy shit is going down in the game right now, once this song plays it can't be that bad as it is all part of god's glorious plan.
yes it's awesome!
@@condurachesorin hope you convert friend
I have 500 hours in this game and I still LOVE IT! This is and will always be my favorite game, ever. I love you Paradox, without you and your games and music my life would simply be less fun than it is now.
Thank you, much love.
this brings me so much joy to listen and pain from the 200 revolts currently going on.
just got into ck2, music started playing and decided then and there that i will be playing the game a lot
someone knows the song where this guy sings" bimbadidadiduu bimdadidadudaeeeeee " ? Im looking for it but cant find it.

Best medieval soundtrack in video game history. This is such a masterpiece work of art!
Thank you, Mr. Waldetoft and everyone involved, for creating such an amazing soundtrack!
This is my favorite soundtrack to any game of all time, and I even like it standing alone. Thank you for great work!
man, paradox makes the best soundtrack for strategy games. Very few developers can compete. 😁
When I first launched CK 2 I had a shit computer, and it took so long to load the game that the title screen with the world map popped up RIGHT at 1:20.
From that moment on I was sold to all Paradox games, good memories.
I had that too, maybe it is on purpose
omg same, I thought they timed it like that on purpose
Hey Paradox! Just wanted to thank you for making my favorite study music of just about ever. Keeps me awake enough to focus, and sounds great to boot. :D
Also, thank you for making CK2 to begin with. It's an absolutely incredible game.
I started DEMO for the first time... I was at the main menu wondering what I need to do... Then this started to play 2:02 ... I instantly decided that F*CK DEMO! I need to buy FULL VERSION!.... Still getting cold vibes when hearing that when game starts :D
Arjan Singh what if the guy who commented is dead
Many and many runs completed. I still have no idea how to play this game. But it's outstanding!
23:30 Aaaand I am ready to win this war
These songs are great to code to. :)
Thanks, Paradox!
A mimir 😴
incredibly consistent and epic
Thank you Paradox for this music. This is best soundtrack ever. Greetings from Turkey :)
The main title is just epic! Thank you Paradox Interactive for making this masterpiece, I absolutely love it! I've just began playing this game, I've been a hardcore player of the Total War series, but this game has so much more depth to it: a whole religion system, a deeper taxes system, you need to take care of your spouses (marry them etc) and mush more! I've just grasped the surface of this game, I absolutely love it!
I like it very much. Thank you!
Game: awesome; Music: Fantastic!
Thank you Paradox!!
amazing work of the sound team
Andreas is waaay underrated. His music is recurring (from game to game) masterpiece. Unfortunately Paradox games are too niche for him to be properly exposed. I might buy EU IV just for the soundtrack.
The Ck3 soundtrack is so repetitive. This was so perfect
There is a mod that inserts the Ck2 music into Ck3.
I have it! Great mod
Beautiful!
The first couple hours of this game may be a bit of a confusing slog but with some dedication, this game has easily become one of my top 10 in just a couple weeks. I already have 50 hours (~40 in the first two weeks of owning it)! It just sucks you in with the nebulous politics of your realm and leads to the most interesting events and is just damn fun.
Been looking for a game this deep for ages. But at last CK II seems to have what I'm looking for and much more. It's an added bonus to have such a beautiful sound track. The best I've heard for any game. It could be an OST for a movie epic. CK II the movie anyone?
To Paradox Interactive:Thank you for these beautiful songs, I've never seen a game with this music and with lots of songs like this!
What a great soundtrack.
It's... It's... IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!
Louis IX - The Crusader King
Check this great video with many of these tracks used as musical score.
when I loaded up CK2 for the first time and this theme washes over me through the speakers I was like: dang, they're serious about this game. What beautiful music.
Putting this on 2x speed is awesome.
How can you change the speed ?
Brising Conan Click the settings button (the gear symbol from where you can change the resolution). There's a drop-down menu which you can use to change the speed.
OMG! This is epic. Dude. It's epic...
I like 1.5x speed more.
Jazzel93
i still can't find the drop menu
Epic soundtrack for an epic game.
[01:08:19] Horns of Hattin and the Aftermath = pure brilliance - something celestial going on there
This is any amazing album that comes with a free game!
Love the first track!
I kept seeing "let's plays" on CK2 by people like Arumba and quil18 and I'm like "I need to check this game out. Go to steam see its on sale for 9.99 and get it. When I'm loading it up for the first time and that theme starts playing I go "ok this game is not messing around folks" Obviously very well done.
same! i have 38 hours on it so far... and STILL no clue on what i am doing. Do want someone to play with? search The Nutcracker on steam! like seriously i need a buddy to help me out with this game XD
Oh, you sweet summer child. This is the type of game that you start on at 5, planning to take an hour after school to relax, then look outside and realize it's four in the morning.
At any rate, if you're having trouble figuring it out, try going off ironman and enabling cheats. It allows you to get a grasp on the mechanics without worrying so much about the minutia, I think.
Also, looked you up on Steam, but there's 588 results for "The Nutcracker", so... Look up Ae3qe27u, alright? I'll see if I can't help you out. :)
Be an irish minor and unite it! Thats the easiest way to learn, i PROMISE!
Woah Paradox, way to flood my sub box -_-
But really, thank you ;)
Hugo Sousa vous êtes qui ?
When you want to play the game but can't because of $ so you resort to just listening to the music and watching let's plays
And... it’s free!
This soundtrack is amazing....
This is the greatest songtrack of all time ❤❤❤
1.16.11 The music sounds like a small tired army riding to their last battle and it is so fucking epic. I miss the DLC music tho.
How many hours hearing this, i hear when i play in my home, now i hear in the work, helps me to concentrate....
Songs to listen to while conquering the holy land
Amazing !! جامدة جدا
Awesome!!!
One of my favorite game soundtracks. Just bought a couple of DLCs to pimp up my CKII and be up to date, amazing game. :)
i love this st so much
Great Sounds
awesome!
Amazing
Восхитительно
Direct nostalgia kick when I heard the Main Title!
This music is really great
We are so close to CK3 release :D I don't know how I'll play without this music... I may just have to listen to this sometimes while playing 3 :)
How do you find Ck3?
@@wotanvonedelsburg1610 beautiful but shallow for a ck2 veteran. After a few years of content, it'll be a masterpiece.
@@HistoryTeacherSteve I'm glad, yes Ck3 is visually beautiful and has a much stronger engine, but as you said the content of the DLC is not there. I was even shocked that they didn't even import the nomadic governments from ck2 into Ck3. With the republics I can understand it, in Ck2 they are really unbalanced with a good player. But that they themselves have simplified the laws now yes strongly I also found disappointing. But that with the religions and soon cultures I find again good. But as you also said in 4 years at the latest you can look in there again in Ck3 and until then Ck2 play with mods. Have heard the "Ck2+" mod is great, have this then also translated into German.
@@wotanvonedelsburg1610 I agree with you! I am excited for the new DLC, I hope it adds depth. You are German? My wife grew up in the Pfalz near Bad Dürkheim. Beautiful country
@@HistoryTeacherSteve Yes, I am German, as my username Wotan von Edelsburg reveals. (Wotan von Edelsburg is a fictional name, the dynasty or the place Edelsburg does not exist and Wotan is from the old germanic god). That's nice. I grew up in Saxony and have remained in Saxony in the city of Leipzig all my life. I also hope that Paradox brings in more depth in the new DLC.
Stunning soundtrack! I must now try the game 😳👍🛡⚔️
I've actually only bought this game for the music. It's amazing! I love this soundtrack.
The music is too damn good!
i love this song
I love it
omg paradox please make this OST available in canada's apple store :( I can't stop listening!
Playing this in the background while I play CK3
Precioso
All I imagine when I hear Saladin besiges Jerusalem is the army marching over a hill in the morning just appearing to the Crusaders then the Crusaders are scared and attacked and its just so cool!
outstanding
Andreas is a fckning genius
Ave Maria!
59:30 resembles a lot "Ja nuns hons pris". Considering that the name of the track is called "Coeur De Lion" that makes sense.
This game is just f*cking amazing! Game is very well done!
Will you add DLCs songs here as well??
I really miss "Alexander Nevsky rides to battle" from here. That's the best piece.
Yes! That is part of the plan :)
+Paradox Interactive
Well? Where are they? It's been a year since you commented on this. The other guy that had all the DLC songs either deleted his channel or you guys shut him down. I like the Byzantine, New World, and Republican songs but you don't have them here, and I don't have access to spotify all the time. It's easier to listen on a youtube playlist while i'm in the library studying, and frankly I can't help but feel irritated right now.
+Ball Tazer well , how are they gonna make any profit if the dlc songs are up on youtube , than there's no sense on buying them .
TheLuckBrothersTV
I did buy them, for the game. The point is listening to them outside of the game.
Plus, they'd earn more revenue off youtube if they just upload the damn DLC songs here. There's no point in not having them here by now.
i like it ♥
It kinda reminds me of Kingdom of heaven film and its score.
Not in the least because one of these songs is pretty much a rip off of one of the kingdom of heaven soundtrack. Or, as they call it, very very very deeply inspired by such score.
我好愛第二首...Second song is my favorite
Still no metal song from the "Old Gods" trailer :(
Don't tell anyone, but we just bought that from a stock music site for $20 or so for the trailer because it was so EXTREME. -super secret paradox trailer secrets-
Does the song have a name and a way to hear it?
Currently, I just repeatedly watch the trailer, lol
check angel of death by slayer, very similar

Im somehow confused when somebody asks me about my favourite music and I must say "it is from the game, you don' t know it".

when you wanna play some ck2 but you have to do homework. listening to this helps HAHA
I listened to this while playing CK1
Everytime I hear the main menu I think of the image with that huge row of horses and soldiers and that bad ass looking broski (Genghis Khan) and the horse with golden armor, as the peasants look upon them as they are some god. Really cool image really.
welp hi 2020, this came up recommended lol hell yeah
I don't know if someone has already noticed it, but the text in the lower part of the video background image tells me to "subcribe", not "subscribe". Just pointing it out. Superb soundtrack though; just as is the case for every other PDS game I've played. Not growing tired of it even after hundreds of hours playtime.
Good catch.
I wish Andreas Waldetoft had added a Megh Raga piece into the Songs of India DLC. It fits India soo well.
