I love that From's tech is allowing such awesome crossovers. Elden Ring bosses in Sekiro, Dark Souls 3 bosses in Elden Ring, Armored Core 6 assets being to correct scale when brought back into Elden Ring, etc. I know it's probably impossible, but it would be fun if Nightfall from AC6 could be brought back into Sekiro, just to see the Mikiri counter on the Pile Bunker.
It finally happened. The prosthetic. The katana. The kick. The grab. The fucking Waterfowl with its trails in the air evoking One Mind from Isshin. The obsession with never having been defeated. Not really, read the description of the video
@@InsertarNombre-od2bh can you differentiate apple from oranges?
This is where Malenia is coming from. She was Tomoe, sadly they never made the DLC for Sekiro
@@TheRealGigaCat what is an orange?
@@m.h.4907 do you have any proof that she was tomoe?
You can easily tell shes meant for Sekiro, with some tweaks she will fit right in the game.
shes still well suited for elden ring because of elden rings fast stamina recovery and delayed attacks, always giving you a chance to dodge and punish. but yes shes perfect for sekiro too
@@toastedbred2961To be honest I think she has too many gimmicks for an Elden Ring fight. In sekiro she's perfect, but they ruined her fight in ER by giving her lifesteal and a second phase ON TOP of waterfowl. I think it should be either one or the other. (She would be perfect with a slightly nerfed waterfowl and no lifesteal)
@@NightmareBlade10 no way. she would be way too easy with no lifesteal and one phase. the lifesteal is there so people can't just hold up a 100% phys shield like they have the entire rest of the game. i agree that waterfowl is stupid though, it's literally the only reason she's any kind of threat at all. if it was more clear how to successfully dodge it, it would be a lot better.
@@r.r.r.r.r.r.r. “the lifesteal is there so people can’t just hold up a 100% phys shield…” WHAT!? Do you even remotely realize how stupid that sounds coming from you? That’s incredibly lazy, bullshit design & it makes fighting her EVEN WORSE in the offset. This is made incredibly unfair with her being way too aggressive & lacking any semblance of cooldown. Might I add, the previous Souls entries actually DID give bosses a cooldown; even the Orphan of Kos isn’t this aggressive, even in his 2nd phase. And it’s a boss I have managed to beat several times with no issues at all. Sorry, man, but I can’t excuse unfair design; FromSoft may be legends at their craft, but Elden is where I’m REALLY gonna be blunt about that. I don’t care if it won GOTY; I will call their bluff & keep commenting how shit their game design is here. If they had just stuck to a Sekiro DLC instead, and if we FINALLY got to see what Tomoe would’ve been like instead of leaving us to speculate, I wouldn’t be angry; until then, I am, and I’m never playing Elden or their other properties again if FromSoft is going to keep fucking it all up by putting the wrong bosses in the wrong games. I feel like I got robbed of $60 for a game whose latter half is butchered & likely hasn’t been patched in months.
@@r.r.r.r.r.r.r. Hahahaha you're missing out. From nerfed shields hard, mate.
It's not 100% phys shield, it's Fingerprint + Barricade + Talismans + Lots of Stamina or you're fucked. Especially taking Malenia's big damage into account.
I understand the limitations of this mod and yet I am enamoured with simply how well they managed to make it gel with Sekiro's system. These games are entirely different and yet here she is!
Now I understand why people said that Malenia was a Sekiro boss in Elden Ring. Those parries dude, amazing.
Now someone's got to place Demon of Hatred into Elden Ring as a boss battle.
Frfr
와.. 이건 진짜 굉장하네요. 공격 모션이랑 간파 모션 알맞게 다 구현한게 ㄹㅇ 레전드;;
I swear Fromsoft was preparing for a Sekiro DLC with Tomoe as a major boss, but after the DLC got cancelled they used what was left of Tomoe's moveset for Malenia.
Nah
Stop saying nonsense. There is no clue of Tomoe being like that
that's bullshit but I believe it
@@hensinkswell the fact she barely fits into Elden ring (is a bad fight, you fight one move and that’s the fight), has a prothsesis, has some kind of proto-Sakura dance. Animation cancels, has a thrust attack that could be mikiri counterable. She could easily have been partially made in sekiro then moved over to Elden ring and remade. It’s a reasonable option
@@Boamere It's cool to have baseless theories, we will never have proof to disprove or prove it... but to say it doesn't fit into Elden Ring is a straight up coping rant. Don't get offended but you sound like someone who got majorly filtered by Malenia.
Finally ... the Tomoe fight we always wanted
The fight we always wanted, but never really got. It would’ve been nice if FromSoft had just put THIS boss in the right fucking game; she doesn’t belong in Elden Ring.
@@AlastorAltruistGaming lol doesn't belong in Elden Ring? What a bad take, she works great in Elden Ring one of the best bosses in that game. But she's perfect for Sekiro.
@angeryboigaming8562 she absolutely belongs to elden ring
@@optionallemon9262absolutely NOT one of the best bosses in that game.
@@morepower6800yes she does
1:36 is probably the best thing I've ever seen in my life.
Edit: It's honestly so impressive how well you've mastered the deceptively deep mechanics of this game. I really hope that From Soft makes a second Sekiro! I keep my fingers crossed for that day.
This actually fits Sekiro more than it does Elden Ring imo.
that's actually insane, great gameplay as always
I love that From's tech is allowing such awesome crossovers. Elden Ring bosses in Sekiro, Dark Souls 3 bosses in Elden Ring, Armored Core 6 assets being to correct scale when brought back into Elden Ring, etc.
I know it's probably impossible, but it would be fun if Nightfall from AC6 could be brought back into Sekiro, just to see the Mikiri counter on the Pile Bunker.
YES!
0:25 That Mikiri Counter was MONEY
It finally happened.
The prosthetic. The katana. The kick. The grab. The fucking Waterfowl with its trails in the air evoking One Mind from Isshin. The obsession with never having been defeated. The very obviously parryable attacks. It's all been so clear from the start.
Malenia was meant to be Tomoe.
The closest thing we'll ever get to a Lady Tomoe fight.
Malenia in Sekiro's world?
Now let's see how Wolf would fight in the lands between.
By the way this video... extraordinary. Huge Kudos to both Ongbal and the modder.
Funny how in Sekiro she is fair, pretty easy even.
Compared to someone like Isshin.
there is a mod that lets you use perfect parries and the moveset from sekiro
@@streptococo4735 Easy yeah sure bro
dude her moveset looks twice as punishable as Isshin wtf are you smoking?@@streptococo4735
@@streptococo4735Try the mod before writing that sort of thing lol.
Finally, the one fight we all waited for.
This feels like the fight she was designed to have
This is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while. Bravo. You my friend are dope af
So wonderful to see the modding community working on this! I love you're vids ONGBAL and tysm for always showcasing new and upcoming mods.
For how elegant Malenia is , her hits feel so heavy. They pack quite the power with each blow fitting for a demigod or better , for a goddess.
They made radhan and malenia the perfect demigods, its rewarding when you beat both lol
🤓
This goes to show just how incredible Sekiro’s combat system is
It more so shows how Malenia's moveset was probably intended for sekiro but they put it in Elden Ring
Just a reminder, From Software had all Wolf's animations and movesets, based Elden Ring around that sort of fast paced movement and then gave you DS3 controls
Theres no way you can watch this and not think Melania was designed for sekiro.
So much about this is cathartic.
A nice touch is the fact that the mod creators changed the color of Malenia's hair and wings to grey, cause that makes it look like she has dragonrot instead of scarlet rot!
holy shit it plays exactly like a sekiro boss
피하고 때리는 소울류와 다르게 세키로 스타일 전투는 보스를 힘으로 제압한다는 느낌이 들어서 언제봐도 멋있는 전투씬을 보는것 같음.
This man opens the video by shutting her up instantly as he blocks her waterfowl dance
he killed her with the mortal blade without even taking it out
Watching this made me realize how much I fucking hate elden rings combat, or lack there of
Dude for real, how Fromsoft made such fluid and smooth combat with Sekiro then went back to Dark Souls mechanics😅
Modding community really just be using the reality stone to conjure up whatever pleases them 😂
Beautiful. Wow she definitely would fit better in Sekiro that's for sure.
Cannot believe the modder even got the Mikiri counter working, that's awesome as fuck
Assim ela fica fácil, a habilidade mais forte dela é recuperar vida quando acerta o ataque, enquanto ela não quebrar a guarda não recupera vida, logo fica fácil.
Finally, our promised Tomoe boss fight!
FYI: Malenia’s Waterflow Dance was found in Sekiro’s data files as Tomoe’s unused Moveset
Really? I wanna take a look, can you show me where you found it?
Malenia: Everywhere I go, I see his face.
We can see here how Malenia's moveset fits way more the fast paced Parry combat from Sekiro than Elden Ring itself
this is incredibly well put together
I did something similar in Elden Ring after the dlc came out, using the deflecting hardtear and Eupora twinblade on a multi hit and guard counter build... it literally *melted* her, even with the lifesteal
Brazil mentioned
O cara realmente manja demais do game
She fitted Sekiro so much better. Now I want Sekiro game but with Dark Souls esthetics.
Malenia was naturally made for sekiro. Beautiful 💜
"You maybe the strongest in your homeland, but not in this land."
I was waiting for this video the moment I saw the mod
Whoever made this mod is a genius
This is beautiful! Sekiro got me through a particularly dark time in my life and seeing this, for me, is what has been missing since the end credits rolled on Shadow die twice. Please Miyazaki, make another Sekiro.
If there was ever a doubt that malenia was just a reworked lady tomoe boss
Malenia, a Sekiro boss in Elden Ring.
Guardian ape, an Elden Ring Boss in Sekiro.
The impact, the screen shake, the Isshin sidestep, the added moves, this is peak.
Finally the way this fight supposed to be.
This is amazing and I’m happy with what it is now but honestly I feel like it should be a ginichiro type of boss to where you fight her for her first 2 health bars and then there’s a third as goddess of rot
I ain’t gonna lie this is how I imagined my character fighting
Melania.
Those parry’s are so fucking cool
Finally it's Malenia but actually fun to fight for a change
This is insane! Wish the map was different though
I wish ER had Sekiro combat included. Just so you have a choice of play style. I tried ER in the hopes of getting some deflects with a shield. But that was way too boring.
Dropped the game and came back to Sekrio :D
Well done on mikiri countering her fast thrust. I have no idea if there’s a pattern to it.
She will step backwards 3 times before she does it. It is RNG though because she can do other moves after stepping back 3 times.
malena be like - why isnt this dude rolling
Malenia: I am ?NpcName? , and I have never known defeat. *Gets mikiri countered* I may know defeat soon.....
This shows how much better the combat system in Sekiro was.
The crossover of all time!
Jesus Christ this looks so much better that the original one. Parrying faterfowl and the clones attack of phase 2 is just chef's kiss
"Fine, I'll add my OWN DLC!"
~Modders
Which really sucks balls because that means these kinda mods are specifically for PC…
I have a PS4…
And my computer doesn’t run 3D games all that well! 😭😭
If we had just gotten the Sekiro DLC instead of Elden Mid, it would’ve been so damn cool!
I was constantly thinking about this happening and how much malenia would fit as a sekiro boss as opposed to elden ring and sure enough. Waterfowl dance being parried is actually amazing
I was of the theory that Malenia's attacks are actually Spiral Cloud Passage
And it looks like they really are
EDIT: Now that I think about it, Malenia and Miquella seem like Tomoe and Genichiro
Hardest Elden Ring Boss -> Easiest Sekiro Boss
When an Elden Ring boss has to fight an actual swordsman.
Time for you to meet a true swordmaster, Blade of Miquella.
when i see people saying that malenia should have belong to sekiro ... i thought it was an exaggerated but seeing in action ....holy shit she really is in the wrong dimension
