I was at The Alamo many years ago, but it was a quick trip to San Antonio and did not have time to see what you showed in your video. I enjoyed this and all your videos very much. Thank you for sharing!
I was there back in ‘77 AF basic training. The no photography thing was because of the flashes produced. Looks like they would allow flashless photography though. The riverwalk is really nice.
As a Texan the Alamo is a beautiful place glad u got to see it . And aging I wish I would have came down to San Antonio. To see all the you tubers . Could have shown y’all around . And hit up blacks bbq in Lockhart tx
San Jose is a functioning church so is Mission Espada although you are right is is undergoing some upkeep. As a resident of San Antonio I always wonder what first time tourists really think about the Missions. I love that they are not commercialized, that they are close to how they were and some are still utilized by the people for church services. The "2nd Battle of the Alamo" is being debated right now. Plans are being made to restore Alamo Plaza to a more original layout. Nit everyone is in agreement with what that means. Maybe the next time you visit it will be completed, or they could still be arguing about it, lol. Across the road and a little down from San Jose is a good restaurant, Niches, for next time. Peace and love, y'all
You come across like me regarding religion, love the architecture, history and awe of the buildings but couldn't care less about the rest of it, great vid.
Texas has lots historical sights. If you like agricultural stuff, and I believe you do, Lubbuck TX has some really cool museums, one of my favorites is the windmill in Lubbobk.

Why can you not film at the Alamo? Looks like a waste of time fake stuff.
On there website it said you had to apply for a permit to film there but then after we left I seen several people had filmed.
